OMG !!!! These people are SCAMERS.. They called me several times. I called them back and talked to a foreign person named Patrick (right) He told me that I owed them $1598.00 for a loan through Cash Net. I told him I never did anything through this company or have I applied for a loan online. He continued to tell me I could have gone through this or another company and he started naming off all these companies. I again told him I never did anything loan wise online. I asked what company he was calling from and he told me Oscar and Richard Law firm.(not listed anywhere)
I told him to send me paperwork in mail showing me where I owed this. He didn't even have my address. I hung up.
He proceeded to call me back and left a message stating they had a criminal case against me and he had my social security number which he gave. He also stated that I would be arrested by the next Friday before 8 am. I called back and talked to someone else and asked about the criminal case number and what was the number. .He could not tell tell me, but he did say I owed them money. I stated to him I was reporting them and hung up.

I spoke to a lady by the name of Janet. PLEASE call them. If enough of us call and complain maybe they will do something about these LOW LIFES !!!!

This company called and left a message while I was out sick. My secretary only said they would leave a message if I was not avail. When I called them back, they did not have the number they had called me at. Only because I wanted to know what it was they were calling about, I gave then the work number where they called. The man with the thick accent then asked me if I was prepared to be sued. I asked him if he knew threatening over the phone was illegal. He then said be prepared to be arrested at your work tomorrow. I then asked him again if he knew what he was doing was illegal and He yelled, "get lost!' "get off of my phone! and hung up. I then called again and in the middle of asking them to remove all of my numbers from their lists, he hung up again.

I applied for a same day loan one day and they started calling the next... never even accepted the loan, decided against it.

They target people going through hard times.  It's sad.

This is a scam, they are not legitimate debt collectors.  They purchase lists from companies when people try to get a loan online.  They call people accusing them that they have an unpaid online loan and they need to pay to avoid either a lawsuit or even jail.

Because people often may have an unpaid loan, they scare just enough people into paying.  They are not legitimate and are a scam.

Unfortunately if you have ever filled out an application online to get a loan (or someone with similar information), (even if you ended up not getting one) they have all your info and they will follow up with threats and call your employment.

Your information is going to be sold over an over (legally) to many Indian companies overseas.  They use a lot of VOIP phone numbers and are relentless.

If they call and threaten, take down their number let them know you are recording them and file a comoplaint with your states Attorney General.

Threatening you with jail is illegal.  Tell them they cannot call you and can only communicate through mail.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS.  Tell them if they were legitimate, they would have your address.

Tell them they are being recorded and if they call you again you will file a complaint.

These people are not a legitimate debt collector.

Called em today telling me I owe money to some loan person and I have never had a loan! Really??? Scam artists

I just received a call from this number stating that I have a fraud charge under my social security number and that I need to hire a criminal attorney. He stated that he was calling from inside the court house and that they are starting proceedings to have me charged and that I will be served and have a copy sent to my work and the author-ides would be coming there to arrest me and I will be spending time in jail. I am so glad I hung up on the a**. This is such a scam to try to get money out of me.

These guys called me and stated that I owed CashNet $600.00 I knew I owed them but that same day I called them to refinance my loan only cause I'm trying to build my credit. These guys were rude and stated that I will go to jail. These guys really need serious help. They so fake and they talking about how they Have American Name but sound like they from Iraq this is why I'm filing a police report.

This number called my brother and said he owed $800 and if he didn't pay they would come to his work and arrest him and he would have to spend 30 days in jail!  He never took a loan out from them and when I called back to question them they refused to give me their name and asked how I dare question their 'law office'.. bogus - please report it!

THESE GUYS CALLED ME TELLING ME THEY HAD TRIED TO GET AHOLD OF ME AND THAT I OWED SPEEDY CASH $356.45 ... WHICH I HAVE NEVER TAKEN OUT A LOAN ONLINE AND IF I DIDNT PAY THAT I WAS GOING TO JAIL... I STATRTED TO ASK MORE QUESTIONS ON THIS MATTER LIKE WHEN DID THIS TRANACTION TAKE PLACE .. HE GOT VERY IRRATE WITH ME AND YELLED THEN YOU CAN GO TO JAIL!! AND SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN AND HUNG UP ON ME !!! I CALLED BACK AND NOW THEY WONT ANSWER THIER PHONES... THATS OK I FILED A POLICE REPORT ON THEM!!!

Threatens legal action. They informed me I owed Cashnet $489. I had never received a loan from this company. I told Adam Woods from attorneys Oscar & Richards ive never had a online loan and he said, I didn't tell you it was a online loan. I was transfered 3 times when finally I was asked how I, would like to resolve this. I asked how can I? He just kept telling me i could do a OOCR Out of court resolution. Since I've never had fraud charges and never been in jail I can pay the $489 anyway I like western union, money gram. I then proceeded to let him know that I knew he was a fraud never do the phone you to tell you theres legal action against you. its sad how they take people. Also your all speaking with a thick middle eastern accent but you all have  AMERICAN names???? PLEASE!!!!
