Received a call from this number on my cell phone @ 7:23 AM.  Didn't answer since I didn't know the number.  So glad that I didn't.  Thanks to everyone who posted about this jerk.

I just got a call from this number as well.  They told me that payday loan is filing a lawsuit against for owing them money which I never owe them anything.  They said I can be arrested and lose my job.  so I told them that they are scaming people.  I told them to sending the paperwork to my house and also I told them to go ***F*** THEMSELF!**

Once they know you know they are a scam they dont answer calls when you call back,You get a recording and a full voice mailbox

Two numbers called me today...1720-362-2623 and 704-990-6618. Both from the same company tell me the same thing that I owe money to a Cash America Company and that they are going to sue me. When I ask them for my address, they called me a stupid lady. Then he (middle eastern man) told me that I was a criminal and I would be going to jail in two days so I better watch myself. I kept asking for the address of the company and he violently got rude and called me a B*****d and that I needed to F**K off... Then I hung up. They then called back and said they would keep calling me. Then they said words that I cant type on here.
I am contacting my local authories, the FBI, and the CSI. They are definately a sam. I also contact the company they said I owed money to and they told me that this place is trying to contact and scam people out of money.
SCAM and they should be very ashamed of how they talk to people!!!

This Banchut called me this morning with the same crap.Its a scam,he said i had a loan from cashnetusa Its a known fact they dont even give loans in the state of Nj. They use fake scare tactics Its a scam ,call him a banchut or a maadar chut and he will go away for a while.

He called my cell phone today and said that I owed him money and that I did a ID theft. I call him back and said what is going on and he hung up on me.

A heavy-accented male called and said they were trying to collect on a PayDay loan I made on the internet last year.  If I didn't pay in two days, I would go behind bars for 6 months.  I asked for the social security number used on the application and he told me I knew what it was.  The call was to my work cell phone #, a number I have only had for 6 months and is not registered in my name.  When I hung up on him, he immediately called back and asked  was I tring to "go behind bars for six months".  He would not even tell me the address I allegedly used on the application ... since I have moved to a new state since I when I allegedly took out this unsecured loan.

It is clearly a shakedown ... but how to eliminate it from coming through my cell number???

they couldn't give me a date or a company couldn't send me any information on account
they threatened me with my license and jail time...

just got a call, from "Hector and Assoc. Law Firm" regarding a cash advance law suit being filed?  Not.  We don't have a 'cash advance' and haven't.  So the number is 7203622623.  They just keep calling, multiple times a day...from 430am-as late as 1130pm.  I'm blocking the #, but then they use the 'unknown' caller thing.  Idiots.  Don't be fooled!

I agree 100% it is fun to mess with their mind's and I also believe that as long as they are on the phone with us who know they are scammers it means they won't be able to scam some unsuspecting person.
So I say good job.

I have gotten several calls from most of the numbers SCAM HATER listed. They say the my husband and /or I am going to jail as soon as the sherriff can come to pick us up, that our wages would be garnished, we would be sued in court, etc, etc.  I just play along with them, like "oh my, what should I do?", then they say you owe money to this company and I say "do you want my credit card number?" Now I really have them going.....then I start laughing and do they get pissed!  They will say "this is a serious matter, you should not be laughing".  I just keep egging them on, and tell them I only do business with other Americans.  Usually they will hang up before I do!  I have threatened to report them to the FTC and other agencies, I don't think they get it.  Just mess right back with them, it's fun!

I get the same calls.  Do not believe these people!  They are complete scammers.  They are just after a run for your money.  Do not answer your phone to these people.

Just got a call on my cell phone. I told my wife "who in the world is that 720 prefix??" I let it go to voice mail, but they left no message. Finally out of curiosity I called it back. I got the same  indian voice on on an anwsering machine saying "sorry all lines are busy riight now ,please leave a message" like that is going to happen, leave a message to someone I don't know from adam?? Sounds like the same scammer that has called several other people. Thanks for the heads up on this number

Myself and people I know have gotten call's from these numbers with names like Ken Jackson,Adam Smith,Paul I don't remember his last name.
I myself have started harrising these morons calling them and telling them all kind of stupid thing's and asking them stupid question's and when they call me I play them a song HOT ROD LINCOLN.
I think that everyone who read's this should call these idiots and make their life a living hell.

They called us again for the second time in a year my hubby called them back and got someone to answer. He told them they were stupid and that if they kept calling he was going to put them on the FBI fraud list.

I have also been getting these calls, he asks my name and I refused to give it but some how he feels he got "Kim" from our conversation which I didn't say.  I told him to quit calling me I have NO business with him at all.  He continued to call over and over and over again like 10 calls in a period of 10 minutes.  He said he had ALL my information and he will come and get me in person.  I don't know what else to do about this who can you call or report this too.  It's kind of scary when they threaten you by saying they are coming to where you are that they have all your information.  I never gave him anything not even my name.

I've gotten tons of these at home, work and my cell phone. I did apply for payday loans earlier this year but they have all been paid back. They call from several phone numbers and say they are calling from the Federal Investigations Department and that if I don't call them back in 2 hours, they wish me luck because there will be a lawsuit against me. I've told them maybe they should look up how lawsuits work in this country before they attempt to defraud people. I've never been able to get to what they want - a credit card number, etc. They spit out my information but every bit of it is stuff that would be on the payday loan application so I'm sure that's where it came from.

Yea I keep getting a call yesterday from a David Cooper at 1-860-761-3297 stating that I am never paid my $300 loan from Cash Advance of America. They keep calling me like every month I tell them the same thing that I never applied for such loan or anything. The foreign man kept telling me it would be forwarded to the proper people and I would get arrested. They even called my sister because supposedly I put her name as a reference. Now if I applied for a loan like this, I would have not ever put my family members down. Today, a lawfirm called today from 720-362-2623 number stating my affividavit is in his office. I told him that I have looked at my bank records and I'm not showing anything of the such.  I asked him to tell me the date that this transaction occurred and wasn't able to provide it to me. The only thing that scares me is that they have my home address, my last 4 digits of social security number and the bank I bank with.

This is reediculous. They just called me too.  This is just a list of a whole bunch of numbers they are calling from. I have already blocked 12 numbers. They try to scare the heck out of you.

i recived the call sevral times and i never answered the phone and they never left a message. so i looked the number up online this and sevral other pages showed me it was a scam so i waited for them  to call back the caller a man from india asked me how i was today and i said i would be bettter if you were not calling me trying to rip me off. he hung up. so this is a scam real collection agencies leave messages and law firms dont call and collect debts unless its for thousands of dollars. just think how much it costs an attorney per hour.

Received call from 720-362-2623.  They answered hello.  It was a very poor connection.  They stated that they were a payday loan company.   Do not provide any information.   Do not provide the spelling of your name, or anything else..

I had 2 missed calls from this # today. I never answer the call if I don't recoginze the number.

received the same phone call about ten minutes ago. They told me that they were calling about a lawsuit based on a loan issue. Blahblah b***s***. accent was very thick Indian, and most definitely the same caller as the rest of you. The person on the phone continued arguing with me that this was not a scam and would not answer my request to remove me from his calling list. After another minute of arguing back and forth he finally gave the phone to another person.  In the few second where he was turning over the phone to the other person i could hear a bunch of rattled noise in the back, as if the call were coming from a very crowded office. None of the noises sounded familiar and the language of the people in the back ground was most definitely not english.  
The next person then got on the phone and basically repeated the line the first guy was giving me. I then asked How they got my number, what the loan was for, and a few other basic questions. like... WHO AM I?  as in do you even have my number. The man replied our database is temporarily down or some / If you could just tell me you Name.

After that I simply couldn't take it, so i hung up. I then called form a different nubbier and got sent straight to a voicemail that was temporarily full and unable to accept messages.

I agree with the above post from scammed in denver, lets return the favor of these obnoxious, hardly understandable, phone calls. And lets get them to stop some how... it has to be a scam, hope no one is dumb enough to fall for it!!!
