Called asking for someone that doesn't live at my home.  I told them that they had a wrog number.  They told me that they would call back at a better time???

Try googling you name and phone number. Anyplace such as spokeo that comes up, make them remove your info. Also if you have facebook, make sure your personal info is not public.

Rec'd a call from the 720-494-2990, and asked for me and I told them this is her and they started asking me how to get a hold of my mother on my cell phone. I told them to give me their name, the number and the name of their company name. BC Service is the name of the company. I told them I would have her call them back. I just can't see why or how they got my cell phone number and how dare they call my cell phone looking for someone else.

Called from a 720 number, left an 866 number and only her name (no business name or intent of call)

Just called and asked for me... When I told them this was she, the lady asked for my address to verify it was me.  When I asked her what company she was calling about she said it was to personal that she needed my address first.  Really lady how dumb do you think I am! I just hung up.

Called and asked for my ex.... told them they had the wrong number. They asked if I could assist them in locating the person they asked for. I told them they had the wrong number, so of course I could not help them. Obviously a debt collector, being as that he paused when trying to give me his fake name.

Next time I will say "Yes, I can help you..." and give them the number to the Do Not Call Registry 888-382-1222.

I doubt they'll buy it as it is an "888" number, but my guess is that the employees there aren't the brightest crayons in the box... so, maybe they WILL replace my number with the 888 one.... worth a try.

Received a call searching for someone I know; have no idea how they got our unlisted #.  This is outrageous.

Debit Collector looking for someone else

Called me and asked for my gf's ex bf. No idea how they would've got my # or why they would ask me about her ex bf.

They are a debt collector using unethical and possibly illegal business practices.  They called my phone asking the whereabouts of my ex who owes money on hospital bills because of the crime of getting very sick in the United States which still doesn't have a single payer system for health care.  I told them to go to hell.

Same thing, debt collector asking for a Hispanic-named woman.
