Alex Turner keeps calling me at work.  I don't know what to do.  If he keeps it up i will lose my job.  how do i handle this?

This person called Gary Jones keeps calling my cell phone and work number over and over again, saying i have a Cash Advance and that my wages are going to be garnished and so on. He claims to be from Hopkins Law Firm, in which iam aware it is Bogis. People please be careful this is a hoax and a scam. They don't care about you or your place of employement, he even spoke to my supervisor at work and was nasty.So now i am consulting my Lawyer, and would probably have a law suit against this so call company.

hi my wife has been getting the same calls and i was wanting to know more about pinging their location. i want to find these people. i know they have can be tracked and found. im just not sure how to start out going about it. their scam may work but their not smart enough to even have their stories straight or have answers to logical questions. the idiot tried telling me i was illegal for answering my wifes phone.

I have rec'd several calls from 724-288-9201, Hopkins Law Firm.  They told me I owe $300 to Cash Loan USA.  I told them to send me written documentation of the debt.  The man with a heavy accent said he was going to garnish my wages.  Told me they filed a case against me in MD and the case no. is 13-MD49386.  I asked for the tele to Cash Loan USA and was told it is 800-969-5196, of course the number belongs to some other business.

Have received 4 calls back to back today from this number.  The guy had a thick indian accent and knew the last 4 digits of my SS # threatening a lawsuit if I did not call back or have my attorney contact him.  He did not identify himself or who he was calling on behalf of

Got a call from this number. When I was attemptung to get the information they told me that I owe 900 to Cash Loan USA from 2009. They are from Hopkins Law Firm. They left a message on my phone but could not finish the message. Now they are calling my employment...

I've received the same kind of messages from a Gary Jones.  First of all his name is not Gary Jones, because he is obviously not American.  I call him back to back about 5 or 6 times and asked questions of him agressively, and he got nervous and hung up.     I will do my research to see if this person can be tracked.   You can change your number, but the location can be pinged.

They have called my work place at least 40 times today. Some one calling himself Victor (with a heavy Indian accent), stating he works for a law firm, needs to discuss an urgent legal matter, threatening me with arrest,etc. He has been told by myself, co-workers, my supervisor, and the security people at my work not to call back. I work in an operating room for God's sake, and explained to him that I did not have time to talk to him during surgery. I told him if he needed to talk with me to call me after work on my cell and he said he did not have that number, although, I have been getting calls all day on that number too, from the  same number calling my work. This person is extremely rude and tries very hard to be intimidating with all of his threats. Finally had enough and filed a complaint with the FTC, called the police, and spoke with the FBI. This seems to be a pattern recently with these people and it has to be stopped. They are getting our private information and using it to harrass people, threaten them, and could possibly do financial harm to everyone that they get this information on. I do not understand why the government doesn't step in and do something to try to protect our citizens from this type of foreign terroism also.

I keep getting these calls from "Hopkins Law Firm" from the number 724-288-9201 also. "Gary Jones" is the latest Indian guy I spoke to. I told him I have never taken out a payday loan and that I have notified the local authorities and he preceeded to tell me that he knows how many children I have and then told me their ages! He then asked "do you like flirting with your boyfriend?" and "do you want to go on dates with your boyfriend?' WTH?! I then again told him that the authorities have been contacted and to have a nice day. This is some serious BS.

The people are relentless.  I have been getting calls like this for over a year.  All different phone numbers; one time Hopkins Law Firm out of Denver, Colorado number, most recently same bogus firm with a PA number.   They are scammers.   They get their hands on your personal information from some online transaction you may have legitimately made (doesn't have to be a loan) and use it to hopefully scare people into sending them money.   DON'T DO IT!!   These are despicable people, all with very thick Indian accents with the nerve to call themselves Kevin, Sam, John, etc.    You can report them, but nothing can be done.   They use throw away phones and change the numbers up all the time; cannot be traced back to any reputable business.   NEVER confirm any of your personal information, and for God's sake NEVER agree to give them any money.

They used the name USA Cash Loan telling me that I took out an ONLINE payday loan. I asked them for some supportive documentation. They emailed me an invoice (email address ilpd@usa.com), that was dated for today (1/15/13) however the loan I supposedly took out was back in 2010. I asked for more documentation and was told that since my account was in default they couldn't give me that information. They are threatening to garnish my wages. They suggested that my attorney get in touch with them. DEAR LORD why is it that we no longer have control over our personal information???!!!

It is on a unpaid load, BUT I looked up the number and the number is from a Verizon Wireless CELL PHONE. So please tell me way a law firm would be calling from a Verizon Wireless Cell Phone. Back to back to back.

Yes I have been getting call back to back to back, on cell phone and work place. Thing all of the something that you guys are saying. They said my settle was $402.00 but I don't have it. But I known that it is against the Law.

I got a call at my place of business, they left a threatening message saying they were gonna sue me for $$ and I was  going to jail and god bless me for what is about to happen! WTF??

I have recieved two calls from a Eric Stewart phone number 724-288-9201 ext 20122. He stated that he is with Hawkins Law Firm. and that they were going to file a law suit in Tennessee,

These people just called my cell phone twice back to back. Since I know a scam number when I see one I simply called them back and said . . .  If they ever call my cell again I would give their number to the police. Folks very simple Ignore them,  google the phone number If you don't recongnize it and It will tell you it's a scam number. No worries especially if you know you don't owe anyone anything. Don't stress over this Mess. They will get theirs In due time.

This same thing happened to me today and its NOT the first time either. Same foreign little moron threatening "black and whites..blah blah blah..good luck" They called my previous employer the last time and said they were from the Atty Generals office. When i called this "Patrick Harris" back the guy answering the phone didnt say "Thank you for calling the Atty Generals office.." just answered. I called him on his BS and reported it then. If I ever get my hands on one of these little pieces of worm crap I WILL have actual charges against me...for kicking their a***s. !!!!

Also just received a call from a Victor with a thick Indian accent telling me that charges would be brought against me if I didn't return his call in the next hour and upon ending say Good Luck and God Bless. This is causing me great stress and embarrament because they call me at my place of work as well. I don't know how they got my SS# (last four digits) but I need for it to stop

I was called by someone name Eric that would not give his last name. He told me that I owed $ 1,265.00 and that I need to pay it as soon as possible. I told him I was laid off. And had started back to work. And that I couldn't afford to pay all that back at one time.
Then he told me that I had until the 28th to pay it off. The he change it and told me that if I paid $569.00 by the 20th they would right the other off.

I just received a call from 724-277-9201 saying I would have Criminal Charges filed against me, and I would be arrested and and forced to fines of up to 10,000.00 dollars. This is the latest of several calls I have received in the past 30 days. The callers always have heavy Indian accents. The latest caller identified himself as Gary Johnson from the Hopkins Law Firm. I was told I had to respond before noon tomorrow or actions would be taken.

I just received a Hopkins Law, well 5 call on my child's phone who is a minor asking to another person, we told him he had the wrong number several he tells us no its not, and what is our name, I explained to him this is a minor child phone you are calling on. He as I asked his name Sam Johnson, was what he told me,,,, I dont think so. I told him I was going to report him and to stop calling that phone.

Kavin from Hopkins Law Firm, Lancaster, PA.  (Indian accent) claims to work for the Hopkins Law Firm in Lancaster, PA and wants information from you because they are going to "file against your name and social security number in court"...don't let these scammers drive you insane.

Called my work place twice, I asked for their number and told them I was sure the FBI would be able to trace their number.  And when they came to my work place to drag me into court, he would be the one in cuffs, that is if he ever entered the USA.

"VICTOR" has called me at work for several days, giving me the same story. My manager, co-workers, and employees all hang up on him and he calls right back. When I asked him who I owed money to, he said "we are not a collection agency, we are a law firm" but he will give me no address or information so that I could "dispute" the debt. I called him a cammer and he said "no sir, YOU are a scammer!" Threats to file an FTC report (which I've done) and contact police have done nothing - he still calls.
