I got the text also this afternoon. If you go to the web site and look at their privacy policy, that should be enough to scare anyone. They will send email and text to all your friends and spam them too. I assume they want access to your facebook page and/or email addressbooks.
I have verizon and I forwarded the text to SPAM (7726) they work with other providers to try and shut down the numer it came from.
