I said, "NO, DON'T CALL ME BACK!".(I called the number back, first time recording said it was not a working number, second call said I must dial a "1" before dialing the number. "SPOOFING", which is a FEDERAL CRIME???
6-21 @12:59pm I answered, "I'd like to speak with the person that pays DP&L...". I asked who she was. She said, "Renesha(?) from "BORDER ENERGY". I cut her off told her that I have told you losers time after time to STOP CALLING this number!". She got rude, talking over me, saying things about my mother and the way I was raised...
Since TELLING these idiots to STOP CALLING won't/doesn't work, maybe a visit to their "offices" in BELLFONTAINE/POWELL, OHIO will.

They came tried to sell me a 10,000 dollar water heater to save 30.00 dollars a month aprox 334 months before it pays for it self. Crazzy. After the guy wasted a hour of my time I wanted to kill him

This place is by far the worst. I had the experience to work with them for a couple of months and let me tell you they are horrid. The management is abusive and the things that are said and talked about in the office would make you cringe. I have been in this type of business for quite some time and I must say that I have learned. The disgruntled associate is correct though they laid us all off a couple weeks back. Im happy but yet upset that I am back on the job hunt. Unbelievable experience is the cleanest thought that comes through my mind at this time.

I use the "1" option also.  When a person answers, a whistle starts blasting near the mouthpiece of my phone.  It may do no good, but I hope the person answering my response feels pain.

They called me every day for over a month. I tried hanging up, pressing 1 and asking to be removed, pressing 2 to be removed. Nothing worked. Then I found the secret to stopping the calls. I told them I was a renter being forced to move out because the house was in foreclosure (none of which is true). Never got another call.

I worked for Ron Brewer, and that crew over there is the filthiest bunch of cons you've ever had the misfortune to be around. And when I say cons, I mean it! Their 'telemarketing manager' is straight out of the penetenitary, and has access to your name, phone number & social security numbers!  Along with the pill heads that get hired there.  You'd be insane to do buisness with these crooks.  Ron's wife would have left him YEARS ago if she knew the stuff he does with the employees there!

On Dec 22, 2010 some lady called me in Houston, Tx, from 713-480-2204 saying they set appts for $3700 Energy savings provided by Stimulus bill. She had my name, address. She asked me how much is my monthly bill and tried to set an appt, saying she is with US Power Association. Then she hung up saying no one in my area for 3 or 4 weeks.

I get 2 calls a day from the association for saving power. some are from a 727 area code and some are from 321. I have asked that they take me off their list. unsuccessful so far. they are rip off artists. came to my house and tried to sell me insulation. If their mouth is moving they are lieing.

This has nothing to do with the gov't. Its all a scam. Please be aware and don't fall for thier're come-on.

I have been getting calls for months. I've tried the option to decline and the calls still keep coming. Today I called and pressed 1 for a consultation just so I could speak with someone. The lady answered Power Savers Association. I told her I was not interested and that they needed to get me off of their call list and that I had requested to be removed previously. She said, welll, have you had a home energy inspection? I asked her what part of get me off your list did she not hear? and she hung up in me :)
Frustrating.



ps. They are calling my cell phones!

Someone keeps calling me saying they're from the "Power Savers Assoc" and states that they are with the government's stimulus package and that I can save up to $3700 in a free energy evaluation and can save up 20% to 50% in power bills. They made an appointment with me and asked for my address, which I unfortunately gave them, and when I wanted a phone number to call if I had to reschedule, she said they didn't have one. After questioning her several times about who this was, she was very evasive.  She said they were a non-profit organization.  I said that I wanted to cancel my reservation, she said she couldn't do that, but that the confirmation person would be able to.  When I was transferred to this person, he said he didn't have the authority to cancel this appt and would not answer any of my questions.  He was quite rude and hung up on me.  I have received several phone calls like this in the past month, which I had turned down.  However, the recording I received from on this final call seemed like it was an energy saving service from the government's stimulus bill.  I then pushed #1 and got the call person.  I cannot find any company call the "power savers assoc" and do not want to receive any more phone calls.  They are very pushy and rude.  I am also worried about what they will do with the information I gave them.  Thank you, Carol Thornton

Our phone is not listed under our name; a protection so we can identify "telephone solicitation" calls.  These people leave 4 and 5 messages a week; and have for months.

I've become very familiar with their number in my "called id" . . . another protection . . . if we don't recognize the name/number in the called id . . . we just don't answer!

We also were on the "do not call" list . . .

How do such unethical companies/callers get through?

And, now, they've switched from 727-254-3588 (land line) to  a cellphone number:  727-271-8073!  Guess they read "WhoCallsMe" posts . . .

Power Savers Association has now called my home no less than seven times in the past couple of weeks.  Telling them they're calling a Do Not Call Number means nothing. When asked to speak to a manager they will either disconnect or try to talk around it. They will provide no info as to their phone number nor company information. One caller did slip and say they were in Orlando. There is always much noise in the background from numerous other callers and they are rude when asked that they remove my number from their system. I've now reported this to the National Do Not Call List four times in the past week alone. What, if anything, can be done about this harassment?

When I get these calls about 10 per week I quickly turned it into a obscene phone call.
It is funny as hell when I ask a very personal "dirty as hell sex question" to one of the w***es that call me.
After I ask the question, they are shocked and threaten me but I keep going from one question to the next.
It's quit fun and the only way I see to get these s**ts back at their own game.
So guys, when you get this call again, press #1 and let the fun begin!

I actually get more calls from them after I started my retaliation campaign.
I figured since I can't stop them, I might as well have fun with it.
I actually look forward to these calls now.

My Experience is the Same as from Carol Thornton with "Power Savers Association" I'm Located in FL and they Call me from all kind of Phone Numbers , I files each time they call with the National Do not Call List a complain but it seams like it is waste of time. After pressing #1 to speak to a life person I insist to get there Location and they refuse to give it to me. This Company is Fake! This People need to get into Jail, we receive calls 3-5 times a week always changing there Phone Numbers , at the caller ID it comes up as Cell Phone Number watch out and do not let them Trick into anything. My worry's are only how many people they already have tricked into something.

After I requested not to be called -
I filed complaints to the do not call list with each call I received.
I keep a log of the calls I receive.  
I contacted my local television help desk - 8 on your side.
I made a complaint to the telephone company.  I understand there is a call block feature available but I have yet to try it.
I filed a formal complaint with the police department.  I give them (PSA) the police report number when they call me.  
Since their recording mentions Progress Energy I made a complaint to Progress Energy.
I figure these people are paid by someone and the campaign can't go on forever.

I also had a call from Power Savers Association (from 727 331 1654) , pushed 1, and asked for their name, (PSA) and asked if they realized I was on the "Do not call list." The lady said something unintelligible and hung up abruptly. I called FTC at 1-888-225-5322 and filed a formal complaint. This is the 5th or so time the company has called in the last half year.
There is some boiler room in Pinellas that needs to be shut down.

Yes we have a similar story about this call every day, any time of day and we have hung up most of the time.  Sometimes we don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Last week I called them and they answered Power Savers Assoc.  I could hear other callers in the background.  I told her we have been called every day and do not want these calls.  Please take our name off the call list and she said she could take care of that.  I told her I was reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and I better not get any more calls.  Today I got a call and they state this is a public service message so I listened and then pressed 1.  The girl said, "How may I help you?"  I said I don't know you called me.  OK and she went thru her speel about how we all want to save our resources etc. and we may qualify for the governments credits of $3900.00.  We will have someone in your area tomorrow would a 12:00 appt, 1:00 or 2:00 be good for you.  I took the 12:00 appt and this will be on a Saturday.  She asked me to get a paper for a confirmation number.  I said that won't be necessary.  Then I was on hold waiting for the confirming person to talk to me.  They both wanted to know how much we spent on electricity each month I said I didn't know as things are combined.  He siad well we want to confirm your appt for Monday or I'm sorry I guess it's for tomorrow because some people drive an hour to come see you.  (I really didn't care) We live in a gated community and I probably won't let them in but I may want whoever to get to the front door and tell them I'm glad they came because whoever they work for is no one that I called and I have asked them not to call.  If the calls don't stop until one makes an appt. then that is what I did.  Now that you are here I hope I have your undivided attention and take our name off the call list.  We'll see what happens.  I am also going to contact our local news station to see if they know anything about these people.
