If calllers are with Brighthouse and work out of Clearwater Florida area - Why are they calling Orlando?  Sounds like a scam or bill collector to me..

Get 2-3 calls a day from this number, even on weekends...I never answer, they never leave a message. I am a Brighthouse customer, so it is possible it is them based upon previous reviews...really makes me want to switch back to Verizon.

Received this call today and all they said was do you want to upgrade your internet service and I said "NO" and hung up! So is it Brighthouse or not? I do have my service from them.

Filed complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.  Will followup if anything comes of it.

I have to share.  I just called Bright House's toll free customer service line.  If you plan to take matters into your own hands and ask them to "stop calling" ...read this and save yourself a wasted 25 minutes.  

Spoke to a man first.  He listened to my situation.  Explained that 727-329-2717 continues to call my CELL phone, which they do not have.  Explained that the calls are constant every day.  He was friendly, but told me he had to place me on hold because it wasn't an issue his department could resolve.  (Wait on hold for approx. 3 minutes)

A lady picks up.  I tell her the same story.  She asks for the phone number on my account and name.  I give it to her.  I advise her that they are not calling that number, they are calling my cell phone, which I have not authorized.  She says, "Ohhhh, let me have the cell number."  I give it to her.  She says, "But that number isn't even on your account with us."  I told her I know that.  I explained again, that THAT was the problem.  I told her I was receiving tons of wrong numbers for a "Richard Morgan" so maybe they were looking for him.  She places me on hold.  (Wait was longer...about 5 1/2 minutes.)  She comes back on and asks me who my cell phone provider is.  I tell her.  She asks if I can call them and add call blocking to my account.  I argued with her as to why it would be MY responsibility to add charges to my cell account because of something THEIR company was doing to me without authorization.  She tries to explain to me that if they are calling a number not on my account, then they can't remove or stop anything.  I advised she look up Richard Morgan and remove it from HIS account.  She tells me she can't do that and that she doesn't have authorization to do that.  (Yet she HAS authorization to harass my cell number and break Do Not Call rules.)  Continued to complain to her and ask for her to speak to someone higher.  She said there was nothing they could do.  She had the nerve to ask me to add call blocking to my account (which most likely was not free).  Seriously?  The mentality of people today is mind boggling.

This number calls everyday on my cell.  Luckily, Mr. Number app blocks it (and all other nonsense calls).  I do not understand what the point or advantage is to calling people's phones and never leaving a message.  What do these idiots expect to accomplish if by after 8-10 months, nobody has ever answered?

I got a call from this number and I did not answer it.  I called this number back and it was a recording from Brighthouse stating that it was just a courtesy call and no further action was needed.

Got a call from them at by business, during a very busy time and they were asking me for MY name and other personal information... Do they NOT know who they are calling?!?! Scamers. I willo investigate this and I will put their number on my block list..

It is a Bright House Cable Networks phone number that does not accept inbound calls.  It concerns a courtesy call made from them to your number (which is connected with your cable account) apparently informing you of new/updated services, and requires no action on your part.

maybe it is a hacker school, learning how to make trouble.  i received one of these calls today to.

Courtesy? How is harassing customers with unwanted calls a courtesy? They keep calling my number and I'm switching to Verizon.

I got a courtesy call today.  Girl was very nice.. I had problems in the past.. I assure you they are not trying to harass anyone.  She listened to what issues i still had, put in some other work efforts to check the poles, repeaters etc.. (that requires a city permit),, and was generally nice.  So they're not really only there to call you and bug you, the call is actually to get feedback and address any other issues and make sure your happy.  Program the number in your phone, and if you dont want to answer it, dont answer it.  Otherwise, they're just trying to be nice after a service call.  In the books, a good company should do this follow up.
:::::::::  Also.. the girl did mention she was calling from the DREW STREET Location.. this could be the large building by drew/ rt 19, or the small office down by drew /hercules.. I assume its the big building on Old coachman by the phillies spring training field.. now think about it.. thats Brighthouse Field !..

Received a call from Brighthouse & made the mistake of answering the call...Brighthouse wanted to know if there was anything they could do to make our experience with them more enjoyable & when I told them no & to keep what they're doing. A few weeks later, we received a letter from them saying they were raising our monthly bill.

I called the number back & was able to negotiate our monthly charges down by more than $25 per month. It was definitely worth calling them back!

Recieved calls with no voisemail. looked the number up and found out it is Bright Hose. The number they are calling is my cellphone and is on the do not call list

I get this call daily.  No message This is a Telemarketer/Sales person from Brighthouse...should they not call NON customers ad leave the current customers be.

these b****eads call about once a week.  never answer, never a VM.  reported as a do not call violation last month.

Rec'd. call on my cell phone first one today.  Just looked up the number as described here.  No message was left.  Like everyone else, not wasting my cell minutes on a sales/check-in call.

I received a call from this number at 6pm. They did not leave a message. I am also a Brighthouse customer but usually their automated recordings leave a message on my voicemail...hmmmm

Just called back and got an automated message from Brighthouse Networks saying that i had received a courtesy call from them and that there was no further action required from my part.

This number is not from BrightHouse cable service,I just got off the phone with them and the assured me that they do not make such calls.Further research needed.I also filed a claim with the F.C.C. and let them know i am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.We will see what happens,they call everyday at least three times.
