I received a call from Vacant Land America.

Call the Chamber of Commerce now they kicked them out because of their business practices. Ian Elliott-Cunningham is nothing but a scam artist. His phone # is 912-322-8944 or 866-750-0787 give him a call and ask him about shutting his office down in the middle of the night and running back to Florida. He had the company Vacantlandworldwide down in Florida last December operating with the proper licenses got scared changed the name to Vacantlandamerica and moved to Ga. Give him a call and listen to him squirm.

I have found out that Knightingale Real Estate Solutions LLC division of Vacantlandamerica has shut down the office in Saint Marys,GA. The owner Ian Elliott Cunningham is being investigated by the GA fraud division. His cell phone number is 912-322-8944 or 866-750-0787. Or you can try to contact his partner Thomas Jeffrey Young who resides in Lakeland,FL. If you are a victim of Vacantlandamerica contact the GA department of agriculture or GA bureau of investigation.

Thanks for all the posts.  I too have a similar story to tell, the 866 phone number, the weak website with little real tangible info available.  The caller was obviously a telemarketer type, much background noise etc. While polite, seemed very inexperienced and seemed to read from a script.  Wanted $700 to list a lot he thought was worth $35k but a real estate site from the area I learned only has a range of 5-40k.  I am very leery at this point and will probably not proceed.  It is one thing to advertise nationally in a major publication.  It is another to actually have positive posts in forums such as these.  If there are satisfied sellers out there, why have I not read a single post from them anywhere? The post from the Pres of Co. was pretty lame... I would have my customers post glowing testimonials up the yazoo, if there were any.

These guys now have new phone numbers.  Toll free 866-750-0787 or in Georgia 912-729-5544. I first got into this Vacant Land America thing through a conversation with my mother. My mother, who is 85 years old, receive a call from them stating they could sell her property in Flordia.  This is lot she bought in the 50's during the great land scam of that era.  She had not paid them anything, so I told her don't until I read what she had signed. When I receive what she had signed I could tell that it was not anything to do with a real estate company.  They were wanting a fee of almost $1000 to market the property. In truth they do not market your specific property, but they do market themselves through the various adds such as the one they run in USA Today.  They have your property listed on some half a** obscure website.  I did about 1 hour of investigating in which I found out that they had my mother's property listed for 4 to 5 times its value.  Remember if they do not sell it in 90 days they will continue to list it for another year at no charge.  Well if they price a property out of the market, guess what, it does not sell.  Also if it sells by other means for not less than 20% of what they list it for you get a full refund. Remember they set target price high.  It will not be sold by anyone else.  I looked at a real estate MLS for the area and her property was not on it.  When people in general go to buy real estate where is the first place they go? They go to a realtor. They do not work with realtors. Vacant Land America without a doubt is a scam. It is a complete disservice and I am surprise that the Feds have not stepped in to shut them down. I have told my mother not to send them a dime. They can not do anything about it even though her property is still listed on their website.  I called and spoke to a representative and told them to take it off.  I told them not to call my mother again as her number is listed on the National Do Not Call list (which they seem to ignore). In my opinon this company preys on people who are not educated in how real estate is bought and sold.  They tell them how much money they can get folks for a piece of property and wham they sign up.  If you want to sell property advertise it yourself or go to a realor.

Are you an employee of this company or a member of a family person working for this company?  It appears  you are the only one or one of a very few that do not feel they have been scammed

I do not know if they are a scam or not, but they contacted me tonight. The person I talked to said he had a buyer for my property. He called me back and said that the buyer would pay half of closing costs if I paid the other half. I told the individual I would lower the price 10,000if he paid total closing costs. When I called back the GM told me to "put up or shutup" and when I said no he hung up on me. If tey are not a scam they are very rude.

(678) 748-5733 is the number they called me from.  A reverse search on www.411.com says it's an un-named landline in Atlanta, GA, not listed under Knightingale or Vacant Land America.  What kind of business chooses to be listed as "un known name" ?   Pretty impossible to track them down if you don't know who they are.

I see all your comments about this company and if they have misrepresented themselves that is illegal... but they state on their web that it is a listing.  Before you sell your home dont you normally appraise the property and get charged for it.  Also you want the buyer to walk into a nice tidy house that has been maintained and maybe even a few upgrades.  Well selling land expecially out of your state isnt as easy as it looks and nobody is going to do it for free.  At least you have a company representing you legally and dont have all fees you would with a realtor and expeciall in this market.

I was call tonight and I wanted to check the internet before giving my credit card. Glad I did. This company seems to like to play games.

I have read everything on this page, I just think whatever the reason an employee would write the things. Makes me think there has to be some kind of truth to it. I was called on Friday from a Shannon, she seemed to be very nice, but did say everything the X-employee stated her number was 912-322-6305. Although she was very nice, pushy as well. I did call the State Attorney's office and there is alot of reports that would be supported by the X-EMPLOYEE. As per my attorney do your homework first. Know the company before doing business with them.

I put this crap up, the boss made me do this. My job was on the line, I am very sorry!!!I have 2 kids and need to make a living. I was fired for asking questions about what Vacant Land America really offers. NO SEVICES AT ALL.... Look at the $2 dollar website and see the ads they post with no information about your property. They are charging anywhere from $299.00- $2000.00 And all they do is lie to you to get the money but all they are doing is putting a cheesy ad on there $2 dollar website.. If you would like a great laugh check it out.. If you did business with them PLEASE CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK.
