Criminals, continuing to call about every other day. Added to Call Block feature on my phone. These b****eads need to get a real job; they passed the obnoxious threshold months ago!!!

Ratbastards call at least two times a day; added them to the Call Block list but they still don't get the message.  It still rings once before blocking the calls.

2 calls within last week.  Call themselves American Reader.  

Receiving 2 calls a day....never answer becasue it shows up on caller ID.  Makes me wonder about the mess up I had on other magazines; not readers digest.  Frustrating! but thankful that I found looked this up and found the info.  Makes me all the more determined NEVER to answer my phone unless I know who the caller is.

Got a call today saying that I was receiving my readers digest at my address. I said Readers Digest is bankrupt and haven't seen one in years. Screamed to them to stop calling!

Two calls from these bottomdwellers today. Added to the Call Block feature on the phone. Geez, these are obnoxious a***oles!!! Despite telling them to stop calling, they persist in annoying us at least once or twice a week.

Receiving at least two calls a day from something identified as Amer. Readers, phone #727-499-0769.  I have not picked up and they have left no messages.  Number tracks to Clearwater, FL but there is no address.  I suspect this is some sort of scam.

This is a magazine renewal co.  Came up on caller ID as American Reader Digest.  Wanted me to renew, told them I can't renew because I don't even get that magazine.  Then she asked about Good Housekeeping, and I said that I do get that one, and she put me through to another lady and I was told that next week the price going up and I needed to get in and renew before that.  I asked new price - I was told it was going up to $59 a year !!!   I told her she was screwed because I have been getting it for about 25 years @ only $12.00 a year.... I told her she was a scammer, and hung up.

I get this number calling me almost every week.  They are selling magazine subscriptions

This call is either the same or similiar to what I recently received from U.S. Reader, again for a subscription that I do not nor ever did have.....It is a SCAM.....that I never respond too.
The last purported to renew READERS DIGEST...Hah, a pre-printed scam given to each telemarketer to solicit fraudulent activities to obtain payment information for a product never to be delivered.
Wastes my time of which I have little to devote to this crap.....BLOCK THEM OUT. !

If I wanted to renew my subscriptions I would have.

My mother received another call from this number today.  We have been fighting this company for the past few years.   They call her and harass her trying to intimate her into renewing magazines she doe not receive and give them her cc #.   She has asked for a supervisor only to have them hang up on her.   I finally took the phone today and after getting hung up on by a suppose supervisor I called back.   The man I talked to today admitted they had lied to my mother and after I threatened legal action for the harassment he supposedly removed her from their database.   We will see.    

calling wife's cell # , now calling Saturday morn. would always use a different Name---- nothing but Scam artist!

Despite prior requests to stop calling my home number, they have started again with repeated daily calls. They just don't get it. Had to use one of my Call Block numbers for them. W**kers!!!

There's numerous pages if you Google for American Readers Services and there's many complaint web sites like this one about these scams.  Lots of different names:  United Readers Service, Readers Service, Great American Readers, etc.   There's gonna be scammers forever, using different names, different locations, different tactics.

Amer. Readers 729-499-0769 on caller ID.  They say, hello Rich?, we're calling to renew your Reader's Digest subscription, do you currently have a subscription?  The first caller at 10am today (Tuesday)(Brad) I said that's none of your business, you folks called a few months ago and I asked at that time to remove my name from your list.  He kept asking if I have a subscription and I repeated It's none of your business and said just remove my name, I'm on the Fed No-call List.  He said "I'm doing it right now".   ....  So Crista called today at 3pm asked hello Rich?  I said yes, She said calling about my Readers Digest subscription, are you still subscribed?  I said No.  She said Oh, she will remove my name from her list.  I related all the info re Brad.  She apparently will remove my name???  They called twice on Monday, also; and I let it go to my recorded message and no message left by them.  So I picked up this am and pm.  Like I said they also called a few months ago.  Note: tele calls by other scams over the years have been in Florida, as well as this number.

I am on the Do Not Call Registry and I have never had a Readers Digest subscription, yet I start getting calls every January/February "about my Readers Digest subscription".  They identify themselves as Amer. Readers.  This time as soon as the words "Readers Digest subscription" were heard, I informed them I don't have a one.  Click.  They knew I didn't subscribe.  Really unethical.

When American Readers called I thought they were correcting a error I may have made when I orders some magazine eariler. My exp. date had just been remewed, and I thought I had put down the old one. so I gave it to the fast talking lady. I had orderd the magazines from other compamies,but she knew all about them. She gave me a total of over $600.  for  3 years. I lold her No way , I only ordered a 1 yr at a time. She  said soneone else would call. When he called I tould him no way, & he said that I had made the order & it could not be cancelled. I hung up, call my  bank that issued the card, she put me with the card company, who cancelled that card, and issued me a new one that will be here in a week

Still getting calls from them............ don't pick up. Today got an Order Confirmation letter.......... magazines I have never , ever ordered and one I had never heard of.   Called local State Police to see if they had had similar reports........ they had not.    Contacted someone with Secret Service who is going to check it out for me. This harassment it going too far.
I think they have changed the name from US Readers to American Readers to throw people off thinking it is a different company.

Just received 8 (from 2:57-4:47 PM) calls from 727-499-0769 to verify a renewal of my magazines.  It was Laura Anderson who said she was from American Readers. Claimed I had always renewed with them....... I had not.
They wanted me to verify my CC# ( a VISA starting with 4, which I know all Visa's start with). I Hung up on them but she kept calling back. Wondered why I was being so difficult because I would not verify my CC# to renew magazines I not longer receive.Would not take NO for an answer.  I told them I  was going to report them if they called again.
The phone # they gave me was 855-455-6205 but I had the other number in my phone.

Has called for the last few days.....do not pick up
