Got three calls today and it was only 12;00 . I just called the number on my caller ID and theperson tries to sell you things and send you things. I cut the sales pitch off or they won't stop selling and toldl them to put me on the do not call list and to not send me anything. The person said ok and they will put me on the list and it takes 24 hours. Don't worry about being nice because the calls won't stop.I will see if the 24 hour part is true before I start hurting their feelings with some choice words.

It is Qualitry Rseurces. BE PROACTICVE AND CALL their customer service number at 727-669-2242. They are trying to confirm you received something that you ordered online. In my case it was the Potty Patch for my dog. When someone answers the number tell them you got the item you orderd and tell them they can put your number on the do not call list. They are hired by online companies to make sure you got the items you ordered. That is all there is to it.

QRI called me from phone #866-379-2003 to "confirm" my swivel sweeper order and as a "thanks for your business" added on saving vouchers for $1 for 14 days plus only $29/mo. thereafter. I explained that I only wanted the sweepers. They said that I could just cancel the vouchers later. I said that I would cancel the order altogether because I only want sweepers. They hung up without confirming either the cancellation of the add-on or the sweepers. They had way too much information about my cr. card and such. Here's the thing...they keep calling!!!!! I'm on the DNC list, but that didn't seem to matter. How do I get rid of these people????

Hmm, Recently I ordered a product from a "as seen on tv" over the internet. The next day I received 3 calls within 5 hrs from a "QRI" (as shown on caller I.D. 1-866-379-2003) But they always seem to call when I'm away at work....haha. As usual, they never leave a message.. so I'm thinking its a telemarketer. If they dont leave a message then it cant be important. Next time I place an order like that, I'll just give them a b-s number.. like 555-555-5555 or a 123-456-7890.

The company is Quality Resources in Clearwater Florida. It is a telemarketing firm that call people that have ordered items on the internet or TV, thats how they have your information from the start. The company that a individual purchased something from sells your information to QRI. QRI is contracted as the "confirmation department" for the item bought and calls to confirm your purchase. They actually have nothing to do with the purchase, it is just away to get you to feel safe about the call and also makes it a legal to call you. They have NOTHING to do with your purchase . The only reason QRI is calling you is to sale you discount programs AKA 'Budget Savers' ect. for a completely differnet company (yes a another company- QRI is like a middleman and all 3 of the companies are making money off this process). QRI actually just needs to get you to agree to have the programs sent out to you, that is there job. They do need you to read your credit card number over the phone, because even though they do have your card number and all your information it is the only way for it to be legal to charge the card for the BS they are selling you. They will offer "free gifts" such as... gas cards, walmart gift cards, american express gift card as the bait. The free gifts are not as simply as they present to you. If you agree to the programs the gifts are just vouchers that will need to be sent in gifts normally take 6-8 weeks to get to you and if you cancel the programs the gifts are completely voided. The gas card is only valid for a certain amount each quarter (every 3 months) and you have to send your reciept in with a voucher to get a check back to you in the mail the gifts are just the bait. Most people will normally be out of a of pocket about $200 before you can really cancel the programs. Some programs you can only cancel by writing a letter to the company requesting cancellation and the process takes about 4-6 weeks. So when they call you as the "Confirmation Department" to "confirm" your purchase you made off the internet or TV they are not even from the orginal purchase made. It is a telemarketer in Clearwater Florida selling you some garbage. They recieved and have your information from the company you bought from like the
Ab Rocket, Assist Cig, Plaque Attack, Gyro Bowl, ect. It is sad consumers are that easily taking advantage of. Never give your credit card # to this people, they have nothing to do with your orginal purchase and they are NOT the Confirmation Department confirming your order. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

| Don't Fall For It 2011-06-06 20:56:02 Unknown |
I ordered a Fushigi Ball online and have been getting these calls. At first, they acted as if they worded it as if they were part of my MasterCard company saying, "Calling you due to a recent charge on your MasterCard" and then they go into a script about you being a preferred customer (you'll hear that phrase about 5-6x) and how they are going to offer you gas coupons and, in addition, some other coupons to other places (they give examples like Pizza Hut, ect.).
What will happen is that they want to charge you a few dollars for the coupons (and the gas vouchers too, don't let them trick you) and then they'll start charging you more every month.
Just repeatedly interrupt them as they keep trying to offer it to you, tell them you don't want anything extra charged to your card and ask them to please take you off their list. Simply telling them No won't do it as I recieved a call for this about a week after I ordered and then another call a week or two later. I just called the number and told the lady i wasn't interested in any more offers or anything and she very nicely said they would put me on their do not call list. So, we'll see how that goes.
They are very tricky in how they word their scripts, so please do not be fooled. From now on, if you buy stuff like this use PayPal so that they never come in contact with your credit card number. I'm considering canceling my card just incase.
