Received a call from this number at 7:30 PM on a Sunday.  No one there.

Got a call after 7:00pm.  Caller ID name said Unavailable, but answered it anyway, thinking it was a family member.  No one there, but I could hear some kind of activity in the background at very low volume. I thought perhaps it was someone playing a game.  After all, who would be working at this time of night?  Then I looked it up on the internet.  That's when I found you people reporting similar experiences and I realized I had been had.

Incidentally, I received calls from three different organizations, all claiming to be raising funds for "children with cancer."  They all sent me literature and that's when I discovered they were three separate organizations.  I didn't give a dime to any of them, figuring they are probably all scams where the majority of the funds collected go to the very people making the calls... Same thing with the police and fire department fund raising services located somewhere in East Jibib!  Ever notice how many calls you get from them lately?  Hmmm, what's wrong with this picture?  Poor economy requires ingenuity when creating jobs, I guess???

I just received a call from this number.  I am on the Do Not Call list and do not want these people calling me.

Must be another scam no message with call blocked my number and called back they said leave your name and number and someone will get back to you.  Next time will give them the fcc director number

Called several times. No one there when I answer

Why does anyone try calling telephones and not leave a messages anymore.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.  I return the call if there is a message left for me.  I, always, assume that it is a scam if you can't leave a message or a return telephone number.  Your wasting your time and mine.

Got a call from them, caller ID said Out of Area, but it's a fundraiser for some Garden State Police organization.  It's one of those companies that give MAYBE 5% of what they raise to the actual group.  Told them I give to my local PBA and to take me off their list.
