Just spoke w suntrust they only call from their 800 number they were freaking about this number and have fraud alerted we shall see

So tired of calls like this and didn't

I received a call earlier during the day w/ no message left.. Late in the evening received another call from a young lady names Shyann, saying she was with Sun trust bank . she wanted me to verify if I had open a checking account online in the last 3 months HUH!hhhhhh!!!.I advised her that I would not be disclosing any of my personal info and if she was who she say she was - they would of have all my info. It was 7:45pm when she called - what banks are open at that time of the night.?..MMMMmmm! makes you think... SCAMMMM!

Called 2 times.  I called back and got the same message as everyone else. Yes, I had just done some business with SUNTRUST bank.  

I got a call at 7:09 pm est, to my cell phone, and thank goodness I have the Mr. Number App. as this # has already been added (apparently I been called before) and this APP automatically hangs up on this # and any other unwanted #'s that call.  I highly recommend this type app on a smart phone

if you have a smart phone, just block this number.  even if it is a semi legit market research company... why would any of you want to give any personal information to these guys that are obviously phishing for something.

if you do not have the "block caller" feature on your phone.. download one of the apps that blocks junk calls.  they work very well.  much better than any DNC list.  

Caller asked if I was in the bank recently and wanted to know about the customer service that I rec'd. Ask me if I was in the Bank this past week and even stated the location I visited. Wanted to ask some more Question but then they hung up. Look up this number and this is what I found.

Rejected call.  No idea who caller was. They left no message

What did Suntrust Bank do when you spoke with them

This company is Merritt Research and they claim to be within their legal bounds to make survey calls on behalf of SunTrust Bank.  Called 800-864-8601 to be placed on the companies do not call list and they are still calling.  I am going to go to SunTrust Bank and demand they stop giving out my phone numbers.  Everyone who gets these calls needs to go into SunTrust Bank and demand they stop this practice.  Posting on line will do nothing to stop this.

When I called the number back I was asked to call  800-864-8601 to be placed on the companies do not call list.  I did this and they are still calling.  I am going to SunTrust Bank and ask for their assistance since the company (Merritt Research) claims they are making calls on behalf of SunTrust Bank

I've received 8 of these (this #) this year. The phone rings 4 times & hangs up. Like many hundreds of others, I've put my name on our bloody DNC list, which doesn't work. In fact, calls only increase. I'm going to get to the bottom of this nonsense  w/ Sun Trust ASAP. We've too many laws that benefit these damnable callers. I won't say what I'd like to do with them.

Got a call today no message. Called back and the recording says it's a market research firm conducting information on products/services

Rec'd. this call and it was for my husband.......I "pretended" to be him........it was an actual survey about my bank and I completed it - they did not ask for anything personal......just a survey about my last trip to the bank (which was a drive-thru deposit) - my husband has not gone to the bank in ages so he would have hung up on them.

The caller said that she noticed we had moved some money into different accounts and wanted to discuss it.  This is very disturbing.  Will be calling SunTrust today!

called me and asked for me by name I said they had the wrong number because I didn't know who it was.

Do not pick up this call. I am on the national do not call list, but I was receiving calls from this number anyway. They claim to be a market research company that is not subject to the "Do not call" list regulations. After calling the number back, I found out that you can call 1 (800) 864-8601 to be placed on their company-specific do not call list. It will take up to 3 days for them to stop calling you.

missed calls with no message.....glad i dont anwer..hope something can be done about this nusance.

Completed a 5 minute survey on Suntrust services, products, and staff.  Most questions seemed designed to find weaknesses needing improvement.  Some questions were personal which you may not want to answer.

If you are getting the calls on your cell phone, download/purchase an app called Call Control. The Pro version allows unlimited amount of blocks.  The call will hit the phone and then just go away.  You must manually select each call to block and put them on the Black List.  Works for me for annoying repeat calls.

Got a call from this number.......I did not answer as I don't pick up on calls I don't know.  They did
not leave a message..............

this number is a scam it said its tella market research whatch your pocketbook if you talk to these thiefs someone needs to track them down and bust thre a** and jaw so they cant call anyone for a while

Received call today during my church service.
Called back an hour later and received an automatic voice recording stating that
they are a market research firm and because they are not a telemarker, they ARE
allowed by law to make their call even to DNC people like myself.
It also stated that if I do not want to receive their calls, then I have
to call their 800.....number to be removed from their list.
That is crazy. I do not want their calls but in order to stop them calling,
I have to make a call!
What happened to the "press 1" to be removed technology?

Claims to be the bank and wants feedback about the service I received... Asked for my full name and date of birth. Told them to take a hike (They should have that information if it was my bank).

Don't tell them anything.

Rec'd a call at 5:12 pm on a Saturday 07/20/13 asked if I was in the bank recently and wanted to know about the customer service that I rec'd, the caller was so monotone in her speech and that prompted me to end the call quickly, which is what I told her!
I think that if you are going to be getting a call about the service that you rec'd when you visit a place of business the business would let you know! ie Sprint!

I just got a call from this number (12:12pm). They claimed to be doing a survey for Suntrust bank.
She asked me "if I had a few minutes to comment on my recent service at Suntrust"?
I replied..."Sure"!
Then she asked me what my full name was....my response..."you just called me, you should have that information in front of you"!
She said "they don't give us that information".
I told her that "I am not going to give personal information over the phone".
She, promptly, thanked me for my time and hung up.

Obviously fishing for people's information!!!

I just called the the number back. An automated attendant states that it is Merrit's Research - calling to conduct a survey. Long message stating they're not a telemarketer and thus they aren't covered by DNC registry since they're not selling anything. They do provide a number you can call to opt out of their surveys.

I hate how this country deals with annoying phone numbers.  Other countries you can report them.  I would like this company to be put out of our misery and bankrupted!!!!!!!!!  This is what these pieces of crap deserve!!!!!!!!!!  They are the ones who deserve to be out begging on the street and then they can talk to street people!!!!!!!!  This is ALL they deserve!!!!!!!!!
