Calls every 2-3 days, never leaves a message, always a hangup when answered.

I received a call fron 757-216-9941.  The caller ID said "Virginia Call".  I didn't answer it and of course they didn't leave a message.

Their message says that it is a charity fundraising center but does not give their specific name and of course the Do Not Call list does not apply to them but supposedly I left a message for them to place me on their internal do not call list (we'll see how well that works).

I got a call from this number today and they hung up when I answered.

got a call, said from Virginia, I answered but no one replied, I only give them 3 seconds to answer, then I hang up. (I think it was a computer generated call)

Got a call from 757-216-9941 and they were collecting money for Breast Cancer.

I have been getting the same call from 757-9941 almost daily, Sundays as well. My caller ID indicates Chesapeake, Virginia; but there is also the same hang-up. We just got one this Sunday around 9:00pm. Very annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number several times a day, even on Sundays.  They never leave a message.

Many calls during the day and evening...usually nothing but a blank line when I answer.

After two click call today, I tried calling back and got an extensive voice message.  The bottom line is they say all of there lines are busy.  Then they say they are a charity for women's and children's issues and will call back later.  To run salt into wounds, they say as a charity "do not call" lists do not apply to them.  They do give you a chance to leave your number and be placed on their internal do no call list.  I tried leaving the number.  Let's see if that works.

Got a call from them, too. Didn't answer, machine picked up, they hung up. I love being popular. I'm going to start telling them we just hit the lottery and have to unload some cash to keep our tax bill down, then give them some bogus address to send their forms to. That should be fun.

Receive three or four calls a week.  Dosn't leave msg.

The person calling from this number left no message, but I did call it back to find out that it is a National and State level charity-calling service for numerous charities. Their recorded message requests that you leave your phone number and spell out your name to be added to their do not call list. I did leave my phone number, but only my last name, as one never knows what spams are about.

We get calls serveral times a week from this number. When we answer they either hang up or there isn't anyone on the other end. How can I make them stop calling.

stop calling!!!!!  Every day there is a call from this number  but when I answer no one is there   IRRITATING!!!!

I get 2 or 3 calls a day, some days none - when I answer, they hang up.  I do not call back. They never leave a message. Maybe they get paid per answered call, & drop it there?

It's only Monday and Veterns Day at that and guess who is still calling. It seems that it's always at Supper time or Homework time. How can we stop this?

We have received several calls like such this week.  It is so rude.  It also interrupts your family dinner time, homework with the children and other things.  Please advise how we can stop them.

I'm almost certain that forwarding your non-emergency number to 911 is illegal.  That just means that your local dispatcher will get a telemarketing call.  Sure, it's incredibly annoying for us to get them, but it could be life or death to someone waiting on hold with an actual emergency while that dispatcher deals with the telemarketer.  File a complaint with the FTC and FCC and call the number and ask them to remove you... don't tie up your city or county's emergency response.

Just forwarded my number to 911 they will be in for a rude suprise when they call their usual time this evening . All my callers have been advised to call my cell .

This number has been calling me a couple times a week and then hangs up when I answer the phone.  I need them to STOP calling me!

Caller said her organization was raising money to provide mamograms for women who can't afford them--part of a breast cancer fund raising organization. I told her I wasn't interested and haven't heard back from them. I am on the no call list.

Calls every 2-3 days, if I let it ring until voice mail picks it up, there is no message.  If I pick it up, it hangs up.

We have started getting these annoying calls since middle of August. Most of the time I let the answering machine answer and wait for a message. Just get a busy tone at the end of the recording. A couple of times I have answered before the machine picked up and still got the busy tone. Very annoying.
