We are getting up to 4 messages a day, starting with 'If you are a senior citizen.....' We have even blocked some of the numbers they are using and they still get through! How does one stop this from happening??? It might be time to finally cancel our land line!

If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.

This site seems to be as useless as the junk phone calls . Absolutely no benefit to coming here.

1/25/13 Robocall 1-3x a week since 11/12.
Hung up the first 6 times; finally listened to entire message. Pressed #1 & spoke to a sales person. Requested that my number be placed on "do not call list."
Phone calls have continued.

Simply pay $5 a month to your phone company to have your number unlisted and you will not receive robo calls. I did not receive ANY during this election. It's a small price to pay! The so-called "do not call" list is worthless.

I am getting sick and tired of calls from this number and also card services (Rachael). Evidently it doesn't mean anything being on the no call list. I am getting 2,3,4 calls every day from the above number trying to sell me something. What can be done about this?

It appears as these people have changed their name again. They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions". They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice". They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert". According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

The owner's name is Michael Hilgar. Please file a complaint with the Florida Dept of Agriculture - 800-435-7352. Please also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission - 877-382-4357. On 5/22/12 at 6:20 PM - Called -- left no message

Local Channel 13 news headline "Fake medic alert calls target seniors" then gives the number 757-251-9409. The caller identified himself as being from the American Senior Benefits program The American Senior Benefits Program, based in Kansas, is particularly upset about this scheme because the president of the group says their name is being used fraudulently. The American Heart Association is making it clear that it is not involved in the scheme at all and did not authorize anyone to use its name for such a purpose.

756-251-9409-when I called back, it said, "sorry this mailbox is full"
assuming it's another Telemarketer but when I've received calls from this area in the past, it was police family fundraisers etc...
they didn't leave a message always call around this time - 5-6:30 pm
Lee 2012-05-22 18:25:55 Unknown
Phone rang, picked up, no-one there, left phone on, until call was dropped at other end after about 10 seconds.

Robocall starting out "If you are a senior citizen, listen carefully." I immediately hung up. Robocalling me trying to sell something is an absolute guarantee I will never buy it.

This number called twice; ROBO-CALL, trying to sell a senior aid device. I'm on the Do Not Call list and I am damned tired of telemarketers finding loopholes to SPAM ME CONSTANTLY when it is beyond obvious I don't want them to call.
p 2012-05-16 21:06:31 Telemarketer
Same story...... voice on recording was more professional than most and said the American Heart Association and another similar organization recommended the use of this service, the equivalent of a medic-alert bracelet......... for free. I hung up.
meme 2012-05-14 19:22:56 Unknown
get call often, also on do not call list
william 2012-05-12 20:36:01 Unknown
I got a call and since I live in this area code answered it.
It was a recording trying to sell me a "senior" one call device to use if you fall down in your home.
At the end it tells you to press one now for more information.
I am on the do not call list but doesnt seem to matter. I reported the caller.
shepjaz 2012-05-12 20:18:18 Telemarketer
Got an automated recording trying to sell me something ,as the first part said "Are you a Senior citizen, age 55 or older? If you are then, please listen to this important announcement." It went on to say something else afterwards but I hung up since I'm not a "senior citizen"! They're obviously trying to sell something, probably life insurance or the like. Very annoying!
rubberki 2012-05-11 21:38:33 Unknown
Same thing here absolutely no msg. Frankly if you can not even leave a msg do not bother to ever call me.

Joe 2012-05-11 19:31:57 Unknown
