I'm glad I decided not to hook up my home phone because this number calls multiple times a day. I just see it pop up on the TV instead.

They call my me 3 times a day at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.  I have them blocked but they still call and I'm on the do not call list.  Once they said I have a computer virus and wanted me to buy something to fix the computer.  I just hung up.  The calls still come.

This number has been calling my home phone more than one time a day for a couple of weeks at least, some days as many as 4 or 5 times.  They never leave a message and I never answer the call, so I don't really know who is calling but it is very annoying.  It they had legitimate business with me or were soliciting from a reputable charity, one would think they'd leave a message--or that the caller ID would identify the charity.  I am registered on national Do No Call.

I, too, have received these calls many times through the day, three rings followed by a disconnect.  This company is Direct Buy located in Chesapeake, Va.  The phone no. there is 757466-8100.  Call them and complain.  I did this morning and the person who I talked to said I would be put on their do not call list.  I have registered nationally for the Do Not Call list but apparently this company ignores that.  You have the no. to call, now call and complain.

This is a forum to report numbers so other people will know who is calling.  This is not connected to the number that is calling so it won't do you any good to tell them to stop calling on this page.

How do I stop these annoying calls.??? I get them every couple of hours! No one there when I answer and they never leave a message! Isn't htere a law to prevent this??? From Belle Haven VA????

People, PLEASE stop thinking the DNC list means the scammers are not going to call you. They don't care. It's all robo-calls hoping someone picks up. Unlisted numbers can still be called blindly. Now they're using masks on the called ID so it looks like they're calling local. Just don't answer the f'n phone and invest in some type of call blocker.

This number calls me four to five times a day.  Please have them stop calling!

They call everyday and ask for someone I don't know and tie up my answering service.  This has been going on for 14 days now.

"Liz" from Direct Buy in Chesapeake left message letting me know "we" (Our name) were selected for a chance to win $25K call back for more info. Direct Buy was a paid member type buying club, which I was a member of years ago before they went bankrupt for the second time. My # has not changed since and our name and # are still be in a data base somewhere. Blocked the number

Does the block # work for all kinds of phones or just mobile?

Gotten several calls from this in my caller ID list.

They called so many times in the past few days. I asked the woman to PLEASE take us off the call list, and she demanded to speak to my mother in order to take us off the list. I did not indulge her, but I'll lie next time just to get her to stop calling.

If i answer they hang up. They have called my home 183 times in 30 days. It's ubsurd I can't do anything about it.

It's Direct Buy.  A total scam.  They'll call from 8 AM to 9 PM even when you've told them to stop.  The last time, the woman asked for me by name, and when I refused and demanded to know who she represented, she refused to give the company name.  Keep an Air Horn handy and let them know what you think of their marketing tactics.

Same issue. Call 5-6 times a day. When you answer they ask for you by first name. I asked who is calling and they said they would only tell william.
Fortunately my local boric an has block calling and I have a handy gadget I bought on amazon that blocks whatever number you program
And yes I am on the do not call list. I have reported them but nothing is ever done

It's a collection agency called Valentine and Kerbatis located out of Lawrence, MA.  They use spoofed local numbers to mask who they really are (totally illegal).  They have been sued for FDCPA violations over 100 times in just the last 12 months.  They've harassed my wife for a US Cellular Bill out of Iowa.  She's never been in Iowa in her entire life and the area on the East Coast we live in doesn't even carry US Cellular.  They refuse to provide any documentation to back up their claims.  If they are harassing you, send a Certified Letter to their address in Lawrence MA and demand they provide copies of all Documentation that ties you to their alleged claims.

I get a call from 8 A.M. to 9 P.M.  Caller ID says Out of area. How do you stop them
