Got a call said it was from an SGK Gun Show, its possible as I frequent gun shows, but then they called saying won a free stay at Massanutten resort and a free stay at another location.  The first person couldn't provide much information but said they'd pass the call on to the reservation person Dana even gave a prize code 48771 and said they were giving us a gift card of 50$ visa. The code entry took "some time to load" and then they talked a fast game about the area and things they like to do how they are a great parent and made their childs day by taking them there (heard our child in bkgrd)
THEN THE CATCH: We need you information so you can put $75 down and never pay a cent more and it is refunded.  
Us: Why cant we call the resort ourselves and register, never an answer just more talking
Them: All we need is the 75 on a card I understand the hesitation
Us: can't we use our gift card to pay for some of the fee?
Them: No that is a prize the 75 is for the room. and Massanutten needs to confirm and then you get your money back. Let me talk to your husband (to my wife)

I can honestly say I've never filled out anything!!! What's your excuse for your former employment allowing their employees to cuss at the people they call? To keep harassing them even after they clearly state not to call them again. Where do you get off trying to put someone else down over their vocabulary? Tell me what kind of education do you need  to work in telemarketing???? (757)947-0249 showed up twice on my caller ID.  Did a reverse phone look up.  Lo and behold - it led me here.  Looks like I'm not gonna be calling them back ever!   I will continue to ignore calls if they try to call me back again.

Received a call 4/21 circa 5:30 p.m. and said we had won a trip to Williamsburg, etc., and that we had filled out an entry form at a recent auto show in Richmond, VA.  Said call was being recorded.  Asked specifically if they were selling time shares - and the answer was extemely vague and then wanted to know our income, etc., and I hung up.  

This guy call me and offered me 3days/4nights in wiliamburg, va and selected for $200 papa John's gift card. He didn't tell me anything about himself, they told me you have to do three way call with your fiancée, then want us to file entry form and at last he asked credit card details and I hung up. Be careful.

The caller ID was RESERVATIONS. I could not get to the phone to answer it but that is the one thing I could see while it was ringing.

Pick up your phone and say "don't call me anymore" after that they won't. Ignoring if won't help though, they will just call you for a month straight. If you don't answer at all they will wait 3 months and start over. Sometimes people put wrong numbers on the entry form, if that's the case state it, DUH!!!

I filled out a card to win something at the Chesapeake Jubilee in May 2013, since then I have recieved calls from a woman at 757-947-0249 that says she is from Gloucester. She usually calls at dinner time or in the evening. Last night I told her I don't want to have anything to do with her and I guess it made her mad because she raised her voice and then tried to call me back twice right after I hung up. I was trying to take a call on another phone and the constant ringing of her call was very aggrevating. I will never fill out one of those cards again.

Been getting calls from this number on my home phone for a few nights now. Caller ID says "reservations". We're on a do not call list, which doesn't seem to make much difference, but these are the only telemarketer calls we get past 8 or 9 pm. We never answer numbers we don't recognize, so we haven't had to deal with the spiel yet. Hopefully if we ignore them 100% for long enough, they'll stop calling.

They called and the girl said something about an entry form I supposedly filled out at a restaurant we don't even have in this area that I"ve never heard of. She knew my name and spelled it correctly, that's the weird part, but she asked if that was my name or my husband's.  I told her not to call back and hung up.

Judging by your grammar I can tell you're not the most educated individual. Thats OK but even stupid people should read things before they fill them out

SHE SAID SHE GOTTA DO THIS BY 10:00 FOR ME TO GET THE TRIP TO WILLIAMSBURG, VA FOR 3 NIGHTS.  sHE SAYS PLEASE PROMISE ME YOU WILL ANSWER WHEN I CALL BACK.. OK WHY IS THIS CHICK BEGGING!! I JUST GOT THIS NEW NUMBER AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW SHE GOT IT.  SOMETHING TOLD ME TO GOOGLE THIS NUMBER AND WOW... April, it may be legitimate, but why do you call folks so late at night and keep calling them back even AFTER consumers ask not to be called back?

Your company aggressively markets then seeks out unsuspecting consumers who think they put their name in for a free vacation, etc. only to be constantly harassed by your company.

I had two calls today from "Tim" at this # saying I had a winning entry from a Spottsylvania mall, never been there. If he calls again, I think I'll answer and screw with him a little bit, lol.

I did enter for a contest/raffle at a local wine/food festival.

The fine print DID say that you were opting to receive phone calls about timeshares. There was even a timeshare guy handing out hotel "giftcards" at the booth. The rules were clearly stated on the entry form. You should always, always read what you sign!! If a contest form asks for Name, Address, INCOME, MARITAL STATUS, and SIGNATURE that should also make you think twice. I agree it is a shady technique to gather phone numbers, but it was not deceptive.

I received a message last night from a woman named Kayla who said my entry was selected and I had up to $200 complimentary gifts cards and more prizes.  She called my phone 5 times yesterday.  I don't remember filling out an entry for gift cards or prizes.  I too attended a baseball game recently.  I would think if you entered a drawing for a specific thing then that should be the only thing you would get called about.

Got a call saying I had been selected from a drawing entered at a baseball game. When called back later, Jerry said the place entered, my address and that I had indicated single. A bad guess on single. I asked who he was affiliated with and he said Berkley Plantation and now went up to as much as 1500 in prizes and coupons....yeah right. I told him after he asked why I did not sound happy to recieve such a gift, I said you sound like a gimmick, he sounded a bit angered and said he would give up my winnings and find another winner. My question is "how are these guys getting these entry cards from the events?"

i used to work there and it is not a scam, some of you people should read stuff throughly before just filling it out! only reason they call is because YOU not we YOU filled it out and as stated on the entry form we are allowed to call from 9am-10pm as many times as we want until we get in contact with you!

Got a call about a free vacation package at Williamsburg Resort and $200 gift card just tonight.  It sounded legitimate because I was at the event where he said my name was entered.  His name was Jordan Travis.

The resort is only contacting you because you wanted sonething . At least hear in detail about your 1209 dollars of gifts !!!!????!!!!!!even if you don't want them how hard is it to just listen to sonething you've been chosen by a nice resort in great areas

Maybe you all need to start getting in the habit of THOROUGHLY reading things before you put your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, MARITAL STATUS and HOUSEHOLD INCOME ON. Maybe you should read it and find out where that information is going. I periodically check back on this page to see who and what is being said to make my job harder and a lot of people telling LIES ("They said we WON"-something that would never be said in my place of employment or "Its free"-also would not be said)

To all you guys complaining about the caller wanting to speak with your wife... Just tell the caller that you are legally single and I promise you they will give you ALL THE DETAILS. If the caller asks you if you're married and you say yes they will not go any further with you until your wife is on the line. They want to keep their jobs.

I think we all get how Time Shares work. What we do not like are the lies and deceit that they commit when they call you. I have never filled out an entry form contest in a Burger King but yet "I Won"!  If I can't trust the caller I can't trust the company and my opinion is spreading to the entire industry now. Glad you got your trips. It is the ultimate payback for the tactics they use.
