i am giting 5 of 9  calls a day and week stop doing that now !

A man of foreign descent claiming to be jack or jane watson.  Said that either myself or my attorney needs to call them back immediately or it would not be good.  I don't know what he wanted at this time.  Is there a way to get them to stop calling me?

Have reported these calls to FCC and they investigating them. I was getting calls 2 to 3 times a day. I informed them up front that these calls were being recorded to be forwarded to the FCC and FBI. Then I tell them a report has been filed with both. They hung up and didnt bother me for 3 weeks. Today another call, i returned a call but not available.

This may be a scam. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

my fiance had the same call. saying that we are being sued for a loan that we did not pay for it went from $300 to $500 we owe. the people could not release any information about the company that the loan was from. i have reported to ftc with all information that i have gotten from the internet about this scam. hopefully they catch these people and put them where they belong.

got two mesages on my cell # from this loan from a person with a very thick middle eastern accent telling me I had been suit on three allegations. I asked for someone that I could understand and they passed me to a "Jack Wood" who I still could not understand. I told him to send me the information on the allegations to my e-mail and then he said "have a blessed day" and hung up. I do have a pay day loan but I have not defaultedf on it. I figured they were a fraud.

I am a local Law enforcement agent in Lafayette. He contacted me at the same number 760-282-4547. When I advised him that I knew what was going on. He offered me $4500 and advised that I should join them because I could make money. I advised him that I was contacting the police and he continued to offer me more money. I advise all of you to report this to your local police department. This is most definitely a crime.

I even called the police when the first calls came in and they were threatening and saying if I did not call then God be with me or something...  The police simply told me there was nothing they could do and they didn't give me any advice, what to do, not to do... NOTHING!  Now, I have had access to my checking account made for some payday loan crap...  They have ALL my pertinent information!

Be VERY careful.  They called me several times also and I found out that they DID in fact have all my information - name, address, all my phone numbers and the last 4 of my SS#.  Today a check cleared my account as a payday loan fee...  I had to close my account, contact credit bureau, SS, Child Suport and so on...  They may seem like a joke - but PLEASE use caution...  They have more information than you might imagine!

Try using the phone company where you are people!!

Where I live, I could dial  *57  immediately after the call which would then mark the call for a "trace".  There would then be a recording that tells you what the next step(s) would be.  I believe the next logical step would be to involve the police.

I looked this number up on another site and get this information from there.

It is a Land-line that is located in Barstow (San Bernedino) California {Note it is NOT Florida}

Apparently it is located near the junction of W Barlow Ave and N Dickenson Ave.

This tells me that the number is NOT where they are calling from, and are "spoofing" the caller ID

Service provider for (760)282-4547 is PAC - West Telecom Inc.

Someone in that area should call PAC West and tell them to notify the customer that holds this number of the actions others are taking (using their number)

just got a call from this number told me i owed 450 on a loan said they were pressing charges if i did not pay and i was going to jail. now im gonna hire a attorny to sue them for calling me . so thanks to everyone i was gonna pay till i read this i have children and a fiancee i just started work . the guy is still calling his self jack.

Recieved a call from this number today.  His name was jack.  He told me i owed money 300.00 and that the cops would be coming if i did not pay.  I told him I was going to report him and I hung up.

THEY  TRY  TO  DUPLICATE  CREDIT  CARDS

I just recieved a call from this number telling me that the local police were gong to be at my house in about 2 hours because I did not pay a payday loan. I never recieved a pay day loan. When asked for his name he told me it was Jack Woods, he also had a very thick middle eastern accent. when asked what state he was in he told me Floridia and when I asked about the city he would not tell me. When I asked more questions he toldme that the matter would be cleared up and  the cops would not be coming.  He stated in the beginning that he was from Hudson law firm and that there was a law suit againest my ss#. he stated that if I paid 500.00 the matter would go away.
 Who do we report this too and how can we stop them.?  they are trying to steal money from people.

THIS IS A MUST READ JUST LIKE MY OTHER ONE. if you people would just call them back over and over and harrass them as they do to everybody they call. they might get tired of calling. my wife and myself have called them so many times, they just get more and more fed up. try giving them another name and offer to pay. keep them on phone it takes up thier time. these people are frauds don't be scared they just try to strongarm people into paying something they don't owe. if they hangup call right back. they are worse than a telemarketer, don't fall for thier tricks. we are driving them nuts. we have been hungup on, called bad names,but we keep calling back. but don't let them hear you laughing at them, try to keep it serious. laugh between calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same situation as most middle eastern accents males claiming that I defaulted on a loan they called my cell phone and my work phone several times and when I called them on it they said they would send me legal papers to my job and then hung up on me. Don't know what company they claimed to be because I could barely understand what they were saying the one thing I did catch was the one that called said his name was jack
