I have been receiving this calls now for the last two months and it is getting very upsetting. I know what they are saying is a lie because I pay my bills on time. but they have all your information its very scaring. I just wish there was a way to stop these individuals. They all have an american name but have an Indian accent. I even had one tell me that they would be to my house in 20 minutes to take me to jail that was 3 weeks ago and I am not in jail. If you try to call them back you get put on hold and then hung up on. Anyone have an idea how to get these people to stop and put them in jail?

I also received calls from these people saying that I owed money from a cash advance abt 6 years ago have no idea who they are keep calling and i just hang up dont even answer.  They recdently called my brother telling him that he was listed in a law suit against me and that him along with myself would be going to jail... SAMMMMMM

I called the number and reported to the person answering, that I had the money and was ready to pay.  I was ultimately transferred to another person who first said that the only acceptable payment method was Debit or Credit.  I indicated that I had neither, and only a checking account.  The person indicated that they will take a check this one time.  I just milked the conversation on until I had enough, and I told them that i had enough information for the FCC and the FBI and that I appreciated the information they had given me.

These folks have no scruples, but in today's world, this is more the norm than an exception.

i also got a call from this number about oweing on a cash advance! the thing is i really do have a loan out there i owe on so they were kind of scaring me on telling me cops are coming for me because i did not pay my loan back. he new my e-mail my last four of my s.s. and he told me that i could settle out of court and i would not have any charges pressed on me and they wanted a credit card or debit well i did not have the money at the time any ways and they said to stop court proceedings i had to faxs a note saying that i will pay the money on friday with a copy of my id and last four of my s.s and i did that night and then i call a round the nexts day i found out it was a scam well the got a copy of my id but no money i just dont now what i should do now is there any one that could give me some advice about this my husband gets the same calls how can you stop these scammers they also call from numbers 817-260-0095 and 954-251-0270 i just dont want this to happen to anyone ealse!!

Just got a call from these idiots.. I've been on their radar for a few weeks now.  This is a scam please don't fall for it

Yep! I've gotten these calls here at work! I was supposed to be arrested like two months ago....lol! This is a BIG time scam! Heck, I can't even understand what they are saying anyways!

So i just got the call the woman said the same thing to me and she doesnt speak english. So first thing I did was look up the number saw this and then the second I blocked the number from my phone. I also did a database and reverse phone lookup search they are from El Centro CA its a landline! I decided to call back again after being put on hold and hung up on a man answered and told me he has no idea what Im talking about I work for APD so I mentioned that I have there number and im tracking them. He said go for it get cops involved i dont care. So next time they call you mention APD is tracing him and working closely with the cops in EL Centro and im sure they will leave you alone.

I got the same call at work and they said they were with the department of law and they would be there to get me at work ... when I called back to speak to Ruby, no one there knew who she was and I was told they will keep calling "A 100 times" until I sent them money. Yeah right. Totally a scam, do not know how they got my information.

I got this call about 4 months ago, and they called for my mother again today. Everything said by other people here is the same that happend to me. The last time they called the man yelled and threatened me telling me that my mother better pay. I asked him what the company name was and he gave me some generic Law firm name, I googled it, and it doesnt exist. He told me that he was going to make that day my worst day ever. Honestly he scared the crap out of me. Again with the american names but heavy indian accent. I was so upset that I did call the police. They informed me that if he calls again to threaten me I can make a report. But, the scamers have to call you in order for you to make a report. My mistake was I called them back. Now I know if they call me again, I can make a report. Its very scary that they have so much personal info. My brother also just called me and said they are now calling him for my mother.

I was checking my mesaages today and there was a message from a Rachel Maxwell with a very heavy Indian accent. She stated she was calling for my mother and that she was from the Dept of
Law & Investigations and that it was about a law suit against her. At least this is what it sounded like she said since there was so much background noise I could barely understand. She left  the number 7603328137 and said that she needed to call back right away and it was up to her how she would handle this case. I called the number and someone named Austin Jones answered and he said he was from the American Law Division. I was already suspicious and this put me on full alert. He asked for my phone # after I told him I recieved a call but could not understand what was being said. He then gave me the last four of my mothers social and her email and started talking to me as if I was her even though I never verified any info. He said she had a payday loan and he didn't know what was wrong with her and why she did not pay it but because of this she had a lawsuit against her and for me not to interrupt him and that the call was being recorded. I said how in the hell can I interrupt someone if I can't even understand what you are saying that he needed to put someone on the phone that did not speak with such a strong accent and so fast, he put the phone down and I could here him in the background speaking another language to someone. I hung up. I called my mom and we called the company back  from the home phone twice, there was a message that said to please try again later. I called from my cell and I got an answer, I told the guy that I had been disconnected from someone there and when I looked them up on the internet I could not find them and I needed their address and he hung up on me. I then tried from my cell again and it just rang twice and then it was an open line with no one there, my mother got the same from her cell. This company is a fraud to the umpteenth degree, please don't let them scam you, if they call my house again I will let my daughter sream in their ears at the top of her lungs.

I too am gettng these calls  The people all have an accent.  They will neve send anyting in writing.
How do we stop these calls?  They they are the Dept of Law Enfocemet.

Talk about SCAM! Yea first off they barely spoke english. Called me and said that they have a warrant for my arrest because I did pay off loan from a company that I know I am in good standing with. He had my address, my email, my work info everything. He basically threatened me after I told him this doesn't make sense. I asked for the amount I owed and he couldn"t tell me. And hung up. I called the company he said I owed and of course I DON'T owe them.

they have called using 000 or 3 now they are calling my work saying that i owe and that i am going to jail then when i call back they dont even know the person that called me and they say scott or marcus they cant even speak english
