Had to change my cell number from this a***ole calling me all the time saying he would have me arrested. lesson learned yet too late, don't give info via internet when looking for pay day loans. latest number to avoid is 775 299 3737. My question is how come so many complaints are made about these scammers and nothing is being done?

Its all a scam, i got threaten with money laundering and counterfeiting charges,that on monday cops were going to be in front of my house arresting me and i told them "why wait til monday is friday bring them". the name of the company is Willcox & Willcox in San Diego, California they wont give you a name of a supervisor, they don't answer the phone with a professional manner, i told the operator if he wanted to give my attorney the information and suddenly the line was cutting off or i was saying hello hello, before you call them back( if you are ) look at your bank statements or call your bank and check if any money has been deposited or call an associate in your bank talk to some one and you'll see its a big scam

I've been getting calls from this same number, apparently the same man. Due to his thick accent, I can never understand his name, he never states where the "debt" is that he's attempting to collect. Yes, he knows my address, license number, social security number, leaving them on voicemail. I don't answer any call that I don't recognize, but how stupid is it to leave threats on voicemail??? He always says the sheriff will come to arrest me.

I am sending email right now to Dept of Homeland Security. Not sure if I want to call the agent listed. I'm very leery of scammers, and fear the number might be a decoy to simply get us to call the same people back. I looked on the website and did not see anything about the named agent. Their phone number area code did not match, either.

I received a call on Monday December 13,2010 at 8:00 a. m. saying his name is B Shawn Brown, he gave me till Wednesday at 11:00 to get in touch with him or he would have the Federal Marshall to come and pick me up. To me this seem like some foreigner proving for identity to enter our country. So I didn't respond. Hope Homeland Security take care of this problem. The number is 7605140139.

A man called my job who had a deep accent telling me to call back or have my attorney call.  He sounded very demanding.

I have received multiple voicemails from 760-514-0139 from a heavily accented man claiming to be Attorney James Parker - he wants me to have my attorney call him back but does not state why - I nor my attorney have returned his calls and like others here he has threatened me with legal action even to go as far as telling me the sherrif will be at my door - he wished me good luck.  The last phone call was December 14, that was the day he told me the sherrif would be at my door. My phone # is unlisted, unpublished phone #, he also rattled off the last four digits of my SS - my bank account has not had any $$ removed and my credit card balance still remains at zero.  Please be very careful about anyone calling from this 760-514-0139 # -

They called me for about a month with the treats of arrest in voice mails on my phone but never left me any reasons why. If I tried to call back I got a message saying that the number had been disconnected. There was a month break in them calling and now they started up again. I have no clue why they call and I have never been arrested. The callers are definitely "out sourced" and they are not officers. If you were going to be arrested they wouldn't call and warn you. Also they are required to give you a court notice for whatever charges are up against you.

7605140198/7605140139. "James/Shawn/Byron" are the aliases calling. Heavy Indian Accents with a British dialect. They supposedly work for "Willams Law Firm", on East Century Park drive in Los Angeles, zip 90037. The 760 number is a California City listing in San Bernardino County.

They have information on last address (moved three weeks ago) and former employer from six months ago. Callers also had name of one of my personal friends. I googled this number, and someone else mentioned that Neenet (?) a student loan lender recently got hacked...

Ask for information, and caller gets hostile. Leaves hostile voicemails ("Officer James left me the 0139 number). Call back with blocked number, and the company name they answer the phone with is very unintelligible. The caller also used the phrase "good luck" as a smarta*s answer when I tried probing for information!


I don't have the problem of harassing calls, maybe because I call them back.
I would call them back, and they would say "Hello, Hello", as if they couldn't hear me. Also, there is a delay in speaking, if the accent isn't indicitive of an overseas call isn't enough. They also like hanging up on people as well!

this was the first thing i did when i started getting the calls and nothing was deposited and i kept recieving the calls and so i went to my local pd and as of now nothing is or will be done

The numbers I have been recieving calls from have been different numbers than the above mentioned however same concept.  I did recieve a cash advance about 6 months ago then lost my job and was unable to pay the last call I got from the actual company was a rather rude message from a lady who was calling during an interview so I told her I was busy and would have to call her back at which time she said you always have an excuse now give me your last 4 of your social so I can verify its you.  I said excuse me and she said you always have an excuse now give me the number so I told her I would speak with someone else regarding the matter when I was able to.  Then I recieve a call from this thick accented Indian fellow who told me he has a lawsuit filed against my name and social and then stated my name and social and said it was failure to pay a payday loan with US cash loans or something similar to that and I said I never borrowed money from this company and he said well that is a mother company who has 34 different companies with different names.  He said I have til the end of April to pay 327.72 which was not the loan amount at all. He then said can I pay for some now (which would have been April 4th, 2011) and I told him possibly by April 8th.  He then said you need to fax a page to my fax number stating to cease all legal action at this time against me as I would be paying 100.00 on the 8th and the remaining 227.72 on the 29th cuz they are not open on saterday the 30th.  I then faxed it and got another phone call from a mister smith (the first being John Williams) threatening the same thing.  He then said my apoligies it takes time to update the systems I didn't realize you had taken care of it.  I didn't make the payment as arranged on the 8th so for the next two weeks I got about 4 calls a day until the 15th when he called 16 times.  I then got a call from another Indian accented man claiming to be from Anderson lawfirm  and do I know the matter he is refering to?  I said yes but I am already working it out with another manand he said okay we will be sending an officer to your place of employment to have you put in handcufffs and be jailed for two yeats then hung up on me.  I called mr. williams and he snickered and told me tell him if he calls again to tell him to do what he has to do and speak with your attorny and give him my name and number. He then asked me if I could pay on the 29th with the card on file and then recited my debit card number to me and I said yes and he said okay.  Then the following day which would have been the 16th April I got a call from an American from the actual company I owed the money to and I told him when are you guys gonna leave me alone and he said.....has it been an individual with a heavy Indian accent

He was actually from US fast cash and he said they along side homeland security are investigating these guys because they have been told many times that they didn't owe anything because it was settled already with no further legal action with their legal department.  So apparently homeland security has been notified and are working on the issue (how long it will take who knows but apparently it will be handled

There's a guy in California called Ryon Gambill who is a known debt harasser. He has had a bunch of company names, such as Marauder Corporation, Check Protocol Services, Collection Protection Systems and Bill Collector in a Box. Note that he likes the initials CPS as he can send that on call id and people think it is Child Protection Services.

He has a criminal record and outstanding arrest warrants. Some day Dog the Bounty Hunter will grab him.

He scammed a couple of pay day loan places out of their databases. He also gets your files from Experian, Transunion and Equifax credit reporters.

He’s done some kind of deal with call centers in India as he hopes to keep his name out of it as his name is well known.

These people called me to and threatened to have me arrested at 11am tomorrow morning. They said they were attorneys for Sonic Cash Advance. I have never taken any payday loans out from Sonic Cash Advance. They told me Good Luck, too. They said they were going file papers on me and send them to the sheriff in the town where I live. They were really hard to understand when they spoke. It was one man speaking first, then he had me talk to another man. Maybe it was the same man. It sounded like it was overseas, but on my phone it said Tx. The number they called from was: 281-763-0444. They were really rude and nasty! It scared me. They hung up on me, too. I think they said we'll see you in court! I called the police where I live. They sent an officer out and he talked to me. I think that he thought that it was a scam, too. I told my sister as well. She told my brother, too. The man told me to call 281-0444, then he said 281-063-0444. He said Good Luck a couple of times in a message. It was awful! There were a lot of back ground noises as well.

i have been harrassed by the same indian accent person so called williams attorney.i for got his name but he calls my job several times a day even when im off.when i finally speak with him.he know my social security and were i work.i dont even have any legal matters against me.he threat that i have some law suite against me.so i ask him who.he dont even say.but he wants to know all my personal imformation over the phone and i tell him no.then this indian accented foriener get upset set and   curse me out.he even got so up set and told me to shout up.i said what did you say.he said shut up again. and theni hung up. i call that number back on my cell phone and he said everything is ok.then albout two days latter he calls my job again.doing the same thing. this guy is very crazy and wish he could be caught for what he is doing to people at their jobs. my boss is really getting upset with him now because of his fraud calls.i will try my best to catch him by the goverment or police force and give him some one to play with.

I've received three phone calls from this number.  Heavy Indian accent, telling me they want to speak with my retained attorney.  If they do not hear me they'll proceed with legal action.  Then they tell me good luck.  First off, I know if there's any legal proceedings against me or not.  When you call back it goes to voicemail.  I will not answer and will not gove any information.

They have been calling from this number...my cellphone and also work number...not sure how they got my work number. When I request an email or mailed information regarding whatever it is they say they have the caller becomes very hostile. At one point they wanted me to send a letter(faxed) to a number stating that I regret my actions...I have no idea what 'actions' I've taken against them. They will not give any information about an account or bill...all they keep asking for is a payment.

I have been getting this call on my cell and work nubmer. Heavy accent and same spill of legal action and I better call back now. They threated me with legal action and this time I better call back or they are coming to my home?! Who do I need to contact with these calls-- they call me every day at work and on my cell phone. I see the number now and don't answer....If this was me calling someone, I would be in jail right now.

We have been getting phone calls from these idiots for the past year who have given us various identities - anywhere from being lawyers to being the 'federal police'. Today they said they were with Sonic Cash Advance so I got on the web, got a number for customer support and spoke with a very nice young lady by the name of Michelle who told me this has been going on for 2 years and what steps anyone who is getting calls from these idiots can take. These people apparently set up fake cash advance web-sites and get your personal information from there. They are located out of this country and route their calls to make it look like they're in America. They're a SCAM company trying to get you to send them money by means of threats or harassment. They CANNOT come to your home or work place and arrest you. If you owe anyone money, it's a civil matter, not criminal but many people don't know this. If you or anyone you know is getting phone calls from these people, give them this information and the below contact for Homeland Security and advise them to tell these people that you have turned them in. I received a call from 760-514-0139 man had Indian accent left a voice message, was hard to understand him. He was threatening me and telling me not to ignore his message and wishing me luck. Isn't there a way someone can stop these people from harassing us???

We keep receiving calls for someone I have never herd of. Caller claims to be attorney Antonio Park. Claims he is handling law suit and need to call back. Tried to call back and explain he was calling a law firm. And I needed his license no# and a letter of representation for whoever he was calling about. He got real mad and claimed I was just trying to hide her and she better call. I again asks for his bar license no#. He refused to give it to me. Claiming that was none of my business. I advised him not to call this office again. He said he was going to keep calling until he reached Anganetti. Advised if he did, I would file a police report. He hung up. Then called back 6 more times.

Very distubring, horrible threats... jail time and was not able to identify to me what company he was calilng in reference to.
