he called claiming to be Alex Watson, from John Morrison Law firm, wanting to help me settle out of court for some loan, ask how much money i have in my account, gave me a debit card number and security code to deposit money into it. threaten to call my place of employment within the next 12 minutes if i don't call him back. what a scam, please someone gets these people

These people have been calling me for almost 3 months now and at work. After insulting them with racial remarks, they call back from a number in NY stating his name is Eddie Smith and he is a Federal Law Officer. But without a badge # or a branch to call. I am rep[orting this to the FBI, Secret Service and FCC.

This is exactly the same voicemail I have been getting and I have saved the last one sent to me today after calling them and asking for the name of the firm or company that was calling me. I was hung up on a couple times and then they put my calls through to a "full" mailbox. They really have messed with the wrong woman. My lawyer is already on it and will be threatening to sue them for harrassment....too bad I don't have a company name so I could really go through with it. And that is exactly why they would not give me a name. So, don't be afraid of these a***oles...they have NO power over you.

I have been receiving voicemails from someone claiming to be Parry Cooper. He says that I if I do not call back to respond to a time sensitive legal matter that I will be prosecuted to the fullest. I called them today and asked for Parry Cooper. The first person to answer was a woman and when I asked her the name of the company she told me a law firm. I then proceeded to ask her what law firm and demanded the name of the firm or company calling me. She hung up on me. I then called back and the man who answered sounded just like "Parry Cooper" but when I asked for Parry Cooper he also got flustered and hung up on me. I then tried calling back and the mailbox belonging to personal mailbox # 919092 was conveniently full.
I do think this all happened as I clicked on one of those pop-ups to borrow money; I was curious so I filled out the questionaire and proceeded to get a million offers to borrow money. I responded to none of them and it took me forever to unsubcribe...very stupid of me as I should know better. This is directly related though I believe. Please someone stop these creeps!

I too was contacted at my employement when I wouldn't answer their calls on my cell phone.  They know alot of personal information about me,,,,but could not confirm the date that they say that a payday loan was deposited into my account.  I adivsed them that my bank statements do not reflect a deposit of $200 which was what they were claiming I borrowed.  They were rude, and he was a foreigner who advised me that they were gonna call my supervisor and advise them of what a bad person I was and that they were dragging my butt to the courthouse, only after they served my papers at work.  He then asked me if I wanted to settle on the phone for $474.00,,,,of course I said NO, I didn't borrow any money and I am not paying for something I didn't borrow.  I wished me luck in court and when I started to go off on him he quickly hung up on me.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!  Why can't the USA with all our powers to be, stop these men from doing this?  No wonder they can make money, if they are calling elderly people and threatening them like they did me, they will confuse them and they probably get money from them.  

Please everyone, contact your Attorney General.  I did and mine told me the best thing to do was to flag your credit report, change bank accounts, change your phone number,,,,or, just don't answer their calls.  They will go away.  

My supervisor called them back and advised them to never ever call me at my place of employment again or he would have them up before the California Bar Association.  they are using 760-651-2610 and also number 760-875-4218.

They hung up on him!  Go figure!

I got a call today from 760-651-2610 and then from 760-875-4218 and after that from 000-000-0000.  they claimed to be from Anderson & Associates - Attorney Alex Watson.  Foreigners and I could hardly understand them.  They accused me of not repaying a payday loan,,,,little did he know that in Arkansas they are illegal.  I asked him to prove that I had the money deposited in my bank account.  He could not give me a transaction date and threatened to drag me to the courthouse with a summons to my place of employment.  He asked if I wanted to settle with him on the phone for $474.00, which my supposedly payday loan was $200.  Of course these guys are all SCAMMERS!  

Report them to your Attorney General.  I have done alot of digging on the internet about this Alex Watson,,,,,,he is a complete fraud and so are all his associates.

I have received numberous calls from this number.  The first time they called they said that I owed a debt and that I was being sued.  Would not give me any information.  Told me that they would have me arrested unless I sent them money.  Today 2/25/2010 I received another call from a foreigner who said his name was David Wright - (yeah right) a lie if I have ever heard one.

These arab people or whatever they are keep calling trying to say that I am being sued over something on my social security number.  I have told them not to call and they keep calling anyway.

OMG thats exaclty what he said his name was with me.... creepy.

I received several calls from 916-395-0000 from a foreign lady I could barely understand. She said she was with a government agency and that my ssn was being investigated. When I said that I couldn't understand her, she said to hold while she got an "officer" to talk to me. When she couldn't get anyone, she told me to call Michelle Parker at 760-651-2610.

I'm sure this is a complete scam, and judging by the other posts on here, I'm not the only one dealing with it. Good luck to everyone. I hope these jerks get what's coming to them.

These guys have been harassing me non stop for the past several weeks. I told them that I was reporting them to the FTC and then they got all pissy saying "WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH are you threatening me?!?!?!" and I said No i'm just telling you that what your saying is complete bull and you've got all of my personal information so i'm reporting you to the FTC for scamming and possibly identity theft if you do anything with my information other than delete it from your records. He got pissed and hung up on me and then would not answer when I tried pestering him and calling him back after he was hanging up on me, he didn't seem to like the tables being turned. But then about a week or so later he called my OFFICE phone and the threats started again (after he had told me i wouldn't be called again) and he was using a very angry attitude and raising his voice to me and saying that he was going to contact my superior/boss and that I will be FIRED. I said alright buddy i'll save you a step and send you to him now here he is and FWD'd him to my manager and the angry man was using profanity about me while speaking to my boss and he finally just hung up on him.  I'm going to call the SSA and see if I can get a new SS# and let them know that they have ALL of my personal information. Those scammers need to be stopped soon!!!

I got the call from 760-651-2610 ( Alex Watson and angela ) saying that i had to pay them 958.00 today or i would go to jail and owe them 5000.00 they new everything from my credit, social, banking information, address , everything. While they had me on hold, I over heard a Women telling ( Angela ) What to say to me. They are getting all our information from our credit reports. How can they do all this and get away with it for so long?

Yea what a bunch of BS. First his name was charles smith, he called twice. The next guy I couldn't understand, now some guy named David Wright is calling my job. I just started this job a few months ago, how the hell did they get my number?

I would love to see someone take these creeps down.  I had an Economic Crimes detetive call yesterday and because it's not local, there's really not much my agency can do.  He proceeded to inform the idiot, Ray McKenzie, that even if he worked at a legit collection attorneys office, he had no legal grounds or rights to threaten to arrest a citizen for a civil matter and if he had any type of criminal paperwork to please fax it to him and he'd be happy to go over it.  Of course the jack*** hung up on the detective.

I placed a fraud alert on my credit report, filed complaints against them with the FTC and Florida Attorney Generals office as well as placed a block on my cell phone from any calls from that number.  Tonight I'm taking all of these area code 760 numbers home and going online to my cell provider and will add them to be blocked as well.  

These people seriously need to be caught and prosecuted for fraud as they're telling us that we've committed.  The pay advance places that have released their customers information should be prosecuted as well for giving out private, personal information that's on the applications.  This too should be considered very illegal.  This all must be stopped.

Got a call from a guy named John McLaine.  John McLaine?????  HAHAHAHA!  I asked him how things were going with his wife and if Die Hard 5 really is coming out.  "John" got upset and told me to get my lawyer and the cops will be there in full force at my job.  Asked him if he knew where I worked and he said, "I can not tell you".  I told him good luck finding me and you all are a bunch of idiots, they protray you morons well on "Outsourced".

I have received numerous calls with the MO from Pam Jackson, Moses Matthews, Dave Matthews, Jack Conrad and Mike Spikes.  What fictious names with those A-Hole Arabs.  I have reported them to the Attorney General in MI, Local Police, FTC, FBI and my Security Department at my place of employment and they have a report on these criminals.  They have called me on my home, cell and work phone numbers continuosly since November, 2010.  I know that they are calling from off-shore because the phone numbers change quite often and one was from Egypt.  They have stolen our identity and this must be stopped.  Watch when you giving information over the internet; it could cause you a big headache to try to resolve this criminal activity.  I only wish that these people would look at these complaints and realize we have some information on them.

I got a message telling me to call this same number something about wire fraud these people knew everything about me...everything. they have even called my job. Don't send these people money....ever! They use threats and fear to steal from people and I am not buying it for one second...oh and if people really have a warrant for your arrest...they don't call and threaten you they come and arrest you...and if someone wants to arrest you in texas they don't call someone in California to do it for them!

I am getting calls from these people as well.  They are calling from 760-933-5403.  Supposedly this number is for a Wilson and Associates attorney.  I told them to come and arrest me that I didnt have any loans out and that I was in bankruptcy and they said they did not care about that and I could explain it to a judge.  I keep hanging up on them and they continue to keep calling me.  I told them I wanted the loan information and the exact specifics of this loan and they said they could not provide me with that information.  I told them I wanted a phone number so I could have the local police contact them.  They gave me the number above.  When I told them I could not understand their language they got really upset.  The Supervisor is going to call me back to give me all the pertinent information, because he was in a meeting.

I have been getting calls non stop from a 000-000-0000 number and I just got a voicemail from someone with a heavy arab accent that either myself or my attorney needs to conact him as soon as possible and if I ignore the call that all he can do is wish me good luck.  They had been calling my cell phone and now they are calling my office.  How did they get my office number??  The people need to be STOPPED!!!

I keep getting calls from them also.  First time Tim McIntire, Next time another name and today another name.  At first I also believed them, until they said they were going to file paperwork at the town all tomorrow by noon if I didn't call them back.  I said "tomorrow" you are filing.  Yes he said.  That's when I realized it was not right.  It would have been a Saturday.  I was told to call the better business bureau in your state about Pay Day Loans.  They will help.  Every time I block the number they have another number call me.  YUK!!!!!!
