Same here except think its ARS and said my full name including initial. Told them if they couldn't tell me what it was concerning I couldn't help them. Dumb A$$ said we'll just call back later. I said and I wont answer! Lol probably a Creditor or something.

Got one call from this number, in Vista, CA. Interestingly enough, in previous have received calls twice/day, at 8:00 A.M., and then at noon, from s number in Encinitas, CA. Do not know anybody at any of those places. Do not have any deals with Capital One or any other Mastercard ether...

i have had five calls from this number. no message. number listed as unknown.  

I received a call from this number on Oct 2nd, 2013 and I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message but I was curious so I called back and it was a credit collection company for my Capita One accounts.  I have 3 accounts which are past due but the man I spoke with is Ralph and he was super nice and down to earth.  He was understanding and non-judgmental.  If you receive a call from this number, it may be for your Capital One car however, since they are a credit collection company, they could also be calling you or a different credit card you may have.  If you don't have any such card, it doesn't mean it is necessarily fraudulent because you could have a phone number that once belonged to the person they are looking for.  Nevertheless, be cautious.  It's ok for them to ask for your name n address to verify if you are the person.  They may also ask for the last 4 digits of your social which is legit only if you ARE the card owner.

Collection clowns for Capital One & others.....

A male called from this phone number commenting on a bank of america card that I "had" . . . I don't have a card, and my name is johnny. So i knew the call was fraudulent.

They say they're ARS an answering service who directs calls.  Probably for bill collectors.  They put your number into their system to see where the call should be directed to and before you know it...surprise...your bill collector has found you.
