I received a vm from RPM asking me to call them back at 760-718-3271. It sounded like a robot leaving a message. I deleted the call. However, when I checked back on previous calls received, today, the number I was being called from was 443-599-8711. Both numbers are listed on the complaint board. I figured it was a scam, and it is. I will report both to the Federal Trade Commission. I am on the do not call list. If you receive a call from RPM do not call them back. Do not talk to them, hang up if you answer the phone. It is a scam, and a "zombie" debt collection agency trying to get money/ info from you. If by some chance you owe money, to a service, run your credit report first. Any legitimate company would send you a letter in the mail, not call you, or send an email about a debt. Report them to the FTC. You can do it by phone. just google the FTC.

This company goes by the name of Allied Auto Group Based from California @ 925-418-3215 also. I have a car losted o AutoTrader.com and they received my info there. The guy, 'Ricky Allen' advised me that he could sell my car for more than I am asking and that I could make hundereds more. He said all I have to do is pay a broker's fee of $500 up front. He then proceeded to ask if I would be paying by Visa or Mastercard. LOL Yeah, Right I may as well just post all my info on the internet and let everyone go for what they khow. Nobody's fool!

We received a call from a Peter MILLER calling from Ph: 760-718-3271.  He wanted to talk to my husband.  I asked him who he was and why he was calling and he would not answer these questions.  Said he would call back tomorrow.  DON'T BOTHER, WE ARE NOT TAKING YOUR CALLS.  PETER MILLER SOUNDS VERY DECEPTIVE ON THE PHONE.  BLOCK HIS CALLS.

Savvy scam artist from this number called my elderly mother.  He knew her name & started a pitch about her vacation prize to be delivered.  She's gotten many such calls and has fallen for a few in the past so her name is on lists bought by scammers.  Now I'm on the extension phone so I got rid of the caller.

This # is calling us EVERY DAY.  We have gotten messages about a VACATION we've won.  That could be from this #.  I don't pick up the phone, but it's getting ANNOYING!!!  Especially when I'm on the "DO NOT CALL LIST!"

I get these calls once a day and nobody ever answers! Im assuming from reading all your comments that it had to do with Craigslist. I posted to sell my car and he's asking me to go into western union, transfer 1,500 to a "company" who moves cars intentionally. He wanted to send my car overseas and wanted to pay me through Paypal. What people don't know is that there are professionals out there who can make anything look like Paypal.. and it looks EXACTLY like Paypal. SO they say when I've sent this money and sent "Paypal" the proof or receipt, they would then release the money for the car plus what i payed to western union. Even if you go to check on "Paypal" to see if the funds have been transfered, they actually aren't. The whole scam isn't about the car, its about that $1500. I spoke to Phone Busters and they told me all about this. Their "Paypal" account even sends you emails that threaten you with legal action if you don't pay western union and provide them with proof so you can take the money!! Its hard to believe they these people still think these kinda scams will work.

I have received calls from this number approx. 30+ times, and after the 3rd time I ignored them.  Until today.  And finally I decided to answer it one more time.  I stated that "if your not going to speak to me then don't f*ing call me"  the uhummm, lady, and I use the term loosely said "I don't need no B*tch talking to me that way" so I replied "then quit calling me B*!"  I belong to "Spoke" which is a search company, and there is hundreds of complaints about this number and they are calling from Barstow, CA.

A man with this phone number called me and said, 'I'm calling from Holiday Vacations, your vacation package is ready and will be delivered soon, would you prefer a morning delivery or afternoon'.  I said, 'I don't want that'.  He said, 'Well, too late because you already ordered it...and don't forget to pay for it'.  Then he hung up the phone.  I tried to call the number back and it said it was not in service.

Debbie,just got a call said was a vacation I ordered I just need to pay isaid no I did not order it he said he is sending to collection and hung up. He never allowed me to ask more question. It is just fake just a scam. I am very mad and have no recourse.

Same scam, now the number is 760-718-3095. She never gave her name, but same offer to "put me in contact with several pre-approved clients who wish to remain confidential". It would only cost me $500 to obtain the contacts by email after charging the fee to my credit card. I received phone calls last year from similar scam who only wanted $29.95. Getting more expensive to scam innocent people, I guess.

Just started to call, sometimes 3 times a day.  As soon as answering machine
comes on they hang up.   How do they get away with this?

Got a call at home at 12:36 on 12/17/10 and he identified himself as Gary Anderson and that he was calling
about my vacation package.  I told him I did not apply for nor did I want a package and he continued to blab
and I just finally hung.  He called back at 12:38 and told me I was rude and I told him I did not ask him to call
me and I hung up.  He called back at 12:39 and told me he was turning over my $900 account to the collection bureau.   I did not have time to tell him "that would just be fine"

So many numbers calling me, and so many people emailing, sad that people are this desperate. I really hope no one falls for the scam :(....  I have a car on autotrader....

I have my car for sale on Craig's List, Auto Trader, got this call from 760-718-271, called me by name, when I asked who was asking, he hung up. Travel the World for work. Hope he likes his phone bill. LOL

The phone was ringing since I'm disabled I couldn't get to it on time. Looked on my call logs and saw it was this number. Tried to call it back. Recorded voice can back and said "not a working number at this time."

Now they are calling themselves ALLIED AUTO instead of UNITED AUTO, same idiots calling today, again and again, making up a new company name to scam by.

And they just called me AGAIN, 5th time today !!!!  

I tried to ask who they were representing this time and they hung up on  me.

Jerkoffs have been calling me continually.  I have a couple cars listed in the Auto Trader, I'm sure it's one of those scam market/finance your car companies that wants to charge you a bunch of money and then do nothing.

just now about 2 PM today from this number.  I answered it.  I said hello hello and heard no one.  Then a cocky ssounding guy said hello may I speak to ( my husbands first name).  I asked him what took him so long to come to the phone since he called me.  He smarty like said he was dialing from a computer so sometimes it just takes a while.  I said that was rude to call people and then no one is there on the other end.  I asked who is calling and he said " you know what, you can just go f--- yourself." my husbband called the number back to see who it was and get a recording the number is not in service.

Took a call this morning trying to cutoff scam calls to my elderly father. Offered to take message but of course they just hung up. Recorded number and will block it at my home. Hard to keep up with them all!
