This number is a scam/fraud. They continue to call stating that a team of investigators will arrest me for fraud against my social security number.

this person has called my cell and work phone stating that there will be a team to come to my job or home and arrest me that i have 3  charges for fraud on me and that they will be taking me to the police station if i do not call back, when i try to call it does not ring,what do i do

I just recieved a message from this same phone number stating that I have many different fraud claims in my state and they knew my first/last name and last 4 of my SS number.  And threatened to arrest me (like above statements).  I took my phone to my local police station and let them listen to it.  They said that A) if there was a warrant out, they would be the first to know about it.... B) the guy spoke with a foreign dialect... and C) he hesitated when he talked.  I wasn't too worried since I can't get out much to commit a crime anyways (and I told the police that).... They said not to worry about it and to come home and type this number in the computer to see what it comes up with.

I got a phone call from this number, gave the name of Christopher Johnson with a horrible english accent. They called me on my work phone number and said it was very important and for me to give them a call back. I called them back, phone didn't even ring. If anyone knows the name of the company whom they're representing or their address, please post on here so I can report to the AG for harrassment. Thanks

You dont know how to use phone . You can do anything . Take a loan & Have Bad intensions for not paying it back .Shame on You.

I was able to get the company AC and Associates Law Firm from a "Alice Jones" who had an Indian (India) accent.  When I ask where they was located she hung up on me.  Called right back and got the message number has been disconnected.

I have received these calls as well, from this number and another number.  I called the attorney general and the FBI department on online crimes.  This is a total scam.  If you ever get those calls again, just as what law school the graduated from and what their bar number is if they are claiming to be an attorney.  When I do this they hang up right away!!  When I receive voice mails from these people, I actually look forward to calling them back at this point.  I let them know in no uncertain terms that they can continue to call me but I am not falling for their line of garbage!

Some guy keeps calling my cell (claiming to be from the Sheriff's Dept.) and leaving a message that he has my paperwork and that his men will be coming to arrest me at my address and hold me for 3 days while they complete their investigation. He leaves this number for me to call if I have any concerns. Total scam. Don't fall for it.

I just got a call like this. The guy left message giving his name of Brian Jones and that the payday loan was for 21 days with 0 interest and heavy penalty after that and that I needed to call them back urgently. First the phone would not ring but after calling several times some woman answered. I asked for Brian Jones and she asked if he just called and I said yes. Then she came up with the payday scam that I received 300.00 from them and needed to pay back. I told her I didn't and that nothing went into my account and she wanted me to fax her my statement. I did one better and told her we will call my bank now and they can check for any deposits and she declined.

First of all Payday loans are illegal in the state of GA where I live and second there is no payday loan with 0 interest out there anywhere.

They had my information so this goes to show that we have to be very careful as to what we do online. I called my bank to make sure nothing has gone into and out of my account that I did not know about. So far nothing which is a good thing.

I have received two calls from an unknown number on my cell, the first I received on Monday 3/28 and they threatened to send somone after me and had information that they have no right to have.  They accuse my ss number of fraud and that I should respond or they will send a team to my work place and my home.  I called on Monday at first scared to death about who they are, the number they said to call in my message from my cell is 760-874-1718, I called wondering what could possibly going on because the message was so sinister. I called and the person Sam Smith who leaves the vmail message is not available, some woman answers and proceeds tell me that I am to be in court the next day (tuesday) and then threathens my friends that they have the names of too.  She tells me she is going to email me somthing, but let it be known that their english was very, very broken for her and for the so called Sam Smith person.  I have never heard of them and they do not give me any information other than to say that American Cash or something like that is who is involved I guess.  I got very scared talked to my friends and others.  People told me it was a scam.  I left it alone, and then today wednesday 3/30, I received another unknown call, they left a message, exactly the same as they did on Monday.  I ran the phone number and found this site stating that others have had similar calls.  They do not say who they are in the message and when they did mention a company again, they said American Cash.  I have reported it to the police and ss administration.  This is horrible, why are they getting away with it.

I have gotten the same phone call from this Christopher Jones.Saying that I was a criminal in the state of illinois.  Scared the crap out of me.Thankfully I was able to look it up on the internet and then found this list of people on this page that had the same thing happen to them.They should not be aloud to do this to people.I myself have contacted the police!!!  I suggest to every one else that is going threw the same thing to do what I did.

I got a call from them too saying I got a lOan fo 400 and I didn pay it so they were gunna arrest me I called them back and said I was gunna report them to the cops and haven't heard from them since.

I keep getting calls from this number and they do not speak clear English and have threatend me by claiming I would be arrested. I have called back and they are definately professional, and will not give information. I told them that they were lying and they hung up but have continued to call.

yeah. I received a call like that too. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are trying to get money out of you. Don't do it.

received a call at my place of work stating he was from a law firm. A lot of noise in the back ground. he asked me to call him. this is a SCAM. Don't call this number. He said his name was Bryan Jones with AC & Associates. They pulled this mess on me about a 1.5 ago. Don't do it people. They need to be stopped.

they just called me threartning me that i have a criminal record and that i will be arrested on my billing address or my work place. lets be real ok. first of all only a lawyer or representative can call you like that cops dont talk they cuff. and if its  criminal activity there is no warning they just act if its a misdemeanour its diffrent i just called two lawyers an the first thing the told me was when were you arrested not when will you be arrested he said its A THREAT that i must be first arrested before getting a criminal defense lawyer. they will you what ever access you give them. if your use o yur credit card number they will use this against you. if you file with your SSN they will use that too. they will you whatever you give them and mostly they get there information through online payday loans i would suggest everyone not to file for payday loan online instead call the company atleast you will have control of how your information would be spread out.

Honestly I don't think there's a whole lot you can do...Just make sure you don't send them any money. They're scammers and they'll never get caught. Like I said I just called them back anonymously & harrassed them back.

I received a message from a man stating his name was Sam Smith and I was commiting fraud. He was going to send the police to my work and my home and have me arrested. This was my last chance before the police came to get me. This call came to my work phone.

Received a call on my cell from someone stating this was an urgent message and I had commited fraud in my state. They were going to have me arrested. Then they called my job & I told them to never call my job or cell again. I called the numbers back that appeared on my cell & the one that called my job & both rang busy. Called the number the guy left on my voice mail & some lady answered. She said who is this who is this? So i blew an airhorn app i have in her ear. Called about 3 more times and whenever they would pick up I would keep using the air horn. ahhhh fun times : ) Honestly they'll never catch these people so my suggestion is to call & harass them back. Just use *67 then the phone # & it blocks your #.

I got a call from Christopher Jones and he had all my bank account information and rattled off my info, then hung up on me, and when i called back it didnt ring anymore...i even tried to call from a couple different numbers and that number never rang again...i feel so stupid!

I received this message  from Sam Smith as well.......
They pulled this on me about a year ago as well...so obviously, they have not been stopped...Not fair to frighten people!!!

I received a call today from Cristopher Jones stating that I've been reported in my state for payday loan fraud and they are going to issue a warrant for my arrest and come to my house or job and pick me up.  I called the attorney generals office in my state and they said that this is a scam don't give them any of my persnal information because they were requesting that I give my bank information becuase I owed $400.  SCAM!!!!!!

got the same call on my cell and at work....tried to call the # back but it didn't ring...he siad that if he didn't hear back from me or my attorney he would see me at the courthouse. Had my heart racing. You can't arrest people for a loan....

I got a message from this guy.  In the beginning of the message he said his name was Carl, but at the end he said he was Sam Smith.  The message stated that this was the last warning.  Funny because it was the only warning I got.  He threatened to have the police come to my home and to my job.  He said he was going to send a team of investigators.  Gave me the incorrect last three digits of SS#.  Told me that I committed fraud.  I tried calling the number back but the phone did not ring.  I had my daughter listen to the message and she even said this guy is foreign and hard to understand.  It sounds like he is talking to us from inside of a bathroom or something because of the echo in the background.  I got so nervous I immediately googled the number and this is what I find.  Thank god I checked.  I never been in trouble in my life and don't intend to start now.  I am going to the local authorities.  I am also going to be calling the police in Cali.  The guy didn't even tell me what company he was from.
