Ditto TPaw! I am on the Do Not Call list. I don't care who you are Melissa or why you're calling. I do not give out my phone number and I will switch dealerships if they dare to share my personal info with some unknown outsourced call center that I have no business with. Don't bother me at my job, don't call my cell and use up my minutes, and don't bother me at home, period. It's not my repsonsibility to help call center people across the country do their jobs. Respect the LAW, respect my privacy and wishes, and just don't ever call me.

Hello Melissa, I got a call from this number today for a call center position that I applied for. When I was on the phone with her I lost service and tried to call back but got a VM. The lady was calling to set up an interview. Can you please contact your HR and let them know im very interested and would really appreciate a call back. I applied on the craigslist website and have no idea which add it was, Please email me a sadien2985@yahoo.com with any information on how to reach this person that does the hiring.

It's also much more profitable and cheaper because they take a full-time employee's position at a dealership that use to have benefits and retirement, (which all income goes DIRECTLY into the local economy as spending and local taxes) and eliminate that in favor for a call center which takes the income and puts it into another state's coffers!
Melissa, that is outsourcing.

I got the call today but didn't leave any message. Searched for it and it looks like from Global Crossing Local Services Inc, MN.

Not sure who it is.
melissa welch 2010-12-13 17:56:50 Unknown
thanks jms i appreciate it! i wish more people would understand and look at the whole picture instead of throwing a yelling match.
melissa welch 2010-12-13 17:55:50 Unknown
no it has nothing to do with your credit application. we, the agents, work for the dealership and schedule the service appointments. so when you call to schedule we are the ones you are talking to. that is why we call our customers.
melissa welch 2010-12-13 17:54:23 Unknown
we are not allowed to leave messages.....we just call you back if no answer. that is company policy. thanks!
melissa welch 2010-12-13 17:53:35 Unknown
i apologize that they called you at work but since you provided your work phone number that is why they called you. next time please dont ream us out.....just be nice and say please call my on my cell phone or home number...we did not know that you iddnt want us to call you at work. that is why when you set up your account you put your contact information in there so that we can contact you if we need to. thanks!
melissa welch 2010-12-13 17:51:40 Unknown
just so you know this is a company from plymouth called customer traac (now cti, llc) we are an agency who the dealerships have schedule the appointments for them...so when you call your dealership to schedule an appointment you are sent over to our agents. we do follow up calls to confirm your appointments and also to do follow up calls to see how your visit went. this provides the dealership more information in order to better serve you and to let them know that they have customer satisfaction. it is not outsourcing from the dealerships when we work for them. thank you!

Yes, it's a service survey from an auto dealership. And for the psychologist who stated that one irate worker, who received a call at work, was substituting insulting someone over the phone for face to face confrontation: I love face to face of any magnitude, but a nice F you to telephone harassment is OK with me. Once in awhile I do it myself and it seems to be very effective because the party never calls again! As for someone only doing their job and they're not to blame; well prostitutes, drug dealers, thieves, lawyers, and politicians are only dong their jobs, too, and look at all the good they do.

Yes, I did need to do that. Because they took my work info from my credit application. I DID NOT GIVE THEM THIS INFO..........maybe you don't care if you get all types of calls at work but I do.

Did you really need to ream them a new one? They are not telemarketing, they are doing their job & feedback is extremely important in the customer service field. A lot of people have a problem with face-to-face confrontation and it gives you a chance to express any dissatisfaction you may have had with their service & may not make to the company directly. Giving your feedback allows the company to address any issues you may have had. Additionally, it gives recognition to those who's service was exceptional. In the amount of time it took you to "ream" the person on the other end of the phone, you could have simply said "my time is limited" - given your feedback quickly and said goodbye. I also get service done at Portsmouth Ford, always receive great service, prompt & courteous attention to any issues I may have, and their prices are extremely reasonable. They deserve to be recognized for their positive qualities, and not be spoken to rudely, just as I am sure you would like to be also.

Was a follow up survey for service that I had from a Ford dealership in NH, must be some auto call center number judging from the various brands and locations mentioned above.

Was Honda caling to schedule a service appointment. I had called my local dealer earlier but their scheduling system was down. Didn't answer the first time since the number looked so weird (apparently it's a Minneapolis areacode, but I'm in Roswell, GA)
