Also recieved a call from "Shawn" from CSI, was the business name given.
Asked if the owner was in, I told him politely no, but is there something I can do to help.
He then asked when the owner would be returning, told him the time.
Shawn then asked me for the owner's email address, we do not give out personal phone numbers or email addresses to anyone at our small business. If you need to know it that person will give it to you directly.
I told Shawn that it would be best to speak with the owner over the phone as I am not going to give him his emal.
I was then laughed at while being told "You don't do business through email?"
I explained that we do and if you need the email address then you would either have it already or you can get it from the owner directly.
This was followed by "Is there a reason you are being sarcastic?"
Back and forth a bit more, then I take a message, do a reverse phone number search on whitepages and the listing is unknown. Why would a legit company not publich their info?
Very suspect.

Sean called 12.40pm 14/1/2010
first thing out of his mouth is "What is the owners name?" I asked who was asking and he said "Sean, what is the owners name?" I would not give it to him and asked for his number so that our Manager could call him back. He then asks if we are with the Better Business Bureau, I answered yes we are, to which his reply was well thats suspect, you wont give me your bosses name and your name doesnt appear with the BBB (it does). He then got angry and said why are you being so sneaky? why are you screaming? I have laryngitis at this moment so screaming is impossible!!! He then started screaming at me, "this is a weird way of doing business, I will tell your boss when they call me back, how you are acting and screaming on the phone" I said goodbye and hung up. My bosses were right in front of me listening!! I have been with the company for 10 years this May, so go ahead Sean and tell them!!
