Received the same inquiry for fasteners.  Price was great and order pending, however payment for shipping to Hawaii was needed out front.  No way!  Credit card was from Sugarland, Tx. and went through without a hitch.
We suspected a fraud, and contacted Merchant Serivces who handles our credit transactions.  They put us in touch with Chase Bank and the bank advised that the card was not good.
Beware!!

We get these all the time. If I am bored I will reply and price 50 x cost.  It usually goes back and forth until I tell them that for a limited time shipping is free anywhere in the world.  Their reply is that they would prefer to use their shipping company.  Really?

It's spam for sure.

Our business got the same email, asking about customized tempered glass prices. We don't even make customized glass. If you respond to these emails, they'll know they have a "live one" and will flood you with spam and scam.
