my student loans are payed off but this number calls ever day i followed there info all the way and they tell me i missed my last couple of payments then wants me to go to some website which i did which asked for a bunch of personal info that i do not give out over the internet so f*** them its a scam

I got a call from them today, called it back.  You need to know a department number or some nonsense.  I called Sallie Mae support at 877-881-1004.  (The number is their credit card division, as listed here: https://www1.salliemae.com/content/contactus/ ... =cc#generalinfo)

The rep I spoke with looked into it and told me that it is one of their departments, he's not sure why their records are incorrect but he would have them stop calling me.  (The call I received from that number was a recording asking for someone who wasn't me, but the previous owner of the number I now have.  He apparently owes money to everyone, which is why that s****ead changed his number in the first place probably.)

They called my cell today.  I'm almost 60 years old, and I have no student loans.  I sent them directly to voice mail and they left no message.  Burns my @$$ because it uses my cell minutes.   I'd like to know how they got my cell#.

Computer called me. They wanted the last 4 digits of my social security number. Wow

I now have this numbe blocked with Mr. Number. They have my email address and my home address if it is Sallie Mae. They don't need to call my cell phone. I am not behind in my payments and they sould not harass me!!

I keep getting calls from this number but when I pick up, the signal goes dead or they hang up.  I am getting really fed up with this.

Finally called the number back 765-283-3000 (press O) get SALLIE MAE ...Hit 4 (Security Dept) told them I was getting calls from this number and wanted it to stop they gave me 1 800 number (800-459-1961) ...was asked to put in social security number or HOLD on the line. I held on the line and told them I was getting calls for someone else and want the calls to stop (they call 2-3 times a day from 765 number or PRIVATE CALLER number). Sallie Mae asked what was the phone number being called I told them and they noted this and said they would mark it a BAD NUMBER and take me off the call list. I am hoping the problem is solved and I NEVER see this number again on my caller ID.

this number is for Sallie Mae - for a person who used to have my cell phone number. Unfortunately, they must not want their money too bad because there are no options to speak to an operator (or any person for that matter) and it requires entry of the last 4 digits of SSN (which I do not have) and THEN, the recording actually begins to sound irritated when I attempt to hit * or # on my phone (hoping it will take me to an operator)..... This is ridiculous and I have no idea how to get them to stop so now will need to block the number from my phone.

Yo dude... I have no student loans and never had any. I have a house mortgage that is current (no defaults) and a car loan that is current (no late or defaults). My caller ID says SALLIE MAE at 765-283-3000 but no message was left on my answering machine.

I suspect that Jack is a sock puppet for one of the collection agencies!
