I received a call from this number, called it back, was charged for international call to Dominican Republic. I don't know anyone there, obviously a scam!

I called them back and... I have 20 dollars bill!

They call my daughter several times during the school day and she called them back after school, sure enough this showed up on my cell phone bill too.

DO NOT Answer these calls they are a scam to get money. They call and try to get you to call them back and the charges are billed to you!!

DO NOT ANSWER OR RETURN CALL.  I was stupid enough to call back after I saw I missed a call.  I am looking for work, so I thought it may be a potential employer.  It wasn't.  I got music for 3 minutes, then NOTHING.  I get my bill today and that call was $9.95.

I read about this scam in the paper yesterday.  People are curious by nature, so we (most of us) return missed calls.  Someone in the Caribbean, figured out a way to take advantage of this and charge for it.

I was lucky, and T-mobile removed this from my bill.

Found the charge on my VZ bill. $1.99 charge for international usage. Check your phone bills from month to month since the total on mine looked different and yep we got scammed by this number. There are other numbers, too. I have also received 262 numbers and thankfully didn't call back for that one.

Just got a call from this number, which rang for about two seconds and hung up. I did a Google search for area code 767, which resulted in "Dominica." I thought it was a random wrong number until I came here. Weird!

FIRST- NEVER call any number back that YOU do not recognize or know what they wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are scams to call, quickly hang-up and then wait for all the gullible people to call and "wait" on hold while they are charging your phone number for every second of connection time!
Some people have ended up with hundreds of dollars of charges on their next bill!

Note: I have Comcast and looked at this and they require you activate their "Voice 2go" service using either an Android or iPhone app. I tried calling their support to ask why something that doesn't require a cell phone requires a cell phone to use. The guy had no idea what I was talking about and I had to explain it several times, he asked me to wait while he looked something up and 30 MINUTES later the phone went dead ... so I have no answer yet.

Not all carriers have this service yet.
But they will give you the customer service number for your carrier so you can call them and ask they add this Simultaneous Ringing service.

It just went live early October 2013 and is a free service.

This will not stop calls that are considered legal though (charities, REAL surveys, political), etc.). Some of these can be very annoying also, but if they don't cross the "legal" boundary they will not be blocked by the NoMoRobo database. But if you can block the majority of other calls it might help. And any time the scumbag scammers change and use a new number it may take awhile for enough complaints to be looked at and to have that number added.

I've received a few calls from foreign numbers like this. I read elsewhere is that it's a scam by running up your phone bill. Most of us just redial and don't notice that it's international. I guess the folks on the other end somehow get a piece of the $ generated. Don't really know - just passing on what I read.

Same call and same profile as the rest of you for me. They are probably looking to collect on international rates from the call back if you fall for the scam.  Saw a news report a few days ago that talked about this same subject and it kind of looks like the same deal.

Called my cell and my husbands at the same time. We didn't answer and no message was left. All it said was Dominica in the caller ID. I blocked it. As for the Target comment, I had a card but my husband doesn't and was not on the application.

0516 PST this morning. Bummer. Same MO as everyone else.

I just got a call from 767-275-9192 said Dominica.  Rang once that hung up. Second phone number from foreign country calling then hanging up. It screams SCAM!
