This person have been calling me all week. Left messages here at my work. I know you are not an officer...you are a rip off personal. Stop your calling

I have the same story........the gentleman had a very strong foreign accent and said that I owed money for a payday loan. Wen I told him he was wrong he called me an  A-Hole. They even called my grandmother and harassed her!

Got a call from the same on Saturday, then again on Monday 3 times. I have reported it to the FBI and the Gwinnett Sheriff. I am getting very tired of it.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well but it shows up as 526-941-82. I can't understand half of what they say and the call I got today he left a message on my voicemail stating he was officer somebody and if he didn't hear from me or my attorney so I would be arrested. He said my name and last four digits of my SS#. Who is this and what do I do to stop it. He has had me scared to death and in tears wondering what this was all about. So I googled this number and found out it is a scam! Thanks for posting this info. Do I need to report it to the police?

i ad a call from the same person, with the same story...  i never had a loan , asked for the date and amount ,, very rude told me to just listen and answer his questions..  i told him he was the fraud and i would be contacting a lawyer.  he got very angry and started yelling.

i just dont know how to stop the calls.....  PLEASE EVERYONE DON'T FALL FOR THIS DO NOT GIVE OR VERIFY ANY INFORMATION.

This is a scam....today he caled himself Sam Daniel and called my job,my cell and my home number threatning to send cops to my job....I reported him to BBB AND my county atty....Im in Ky where is everyone else.? I also think he may have gotten my info on an online loan app, anyone else???? He needs to be caught!

I received a call from the same Officer John Marsh with a heavy Indian accent threatening me with court and legal action from my local police if I did not pay 450.00 on a pay day loan.  He knew my address, phone, bank name, and everything.  I am to send him 150.00 by moneygram card on Friday or he refers for legal action.  NOT HAPPENING.  Thankfully, I found this post on Google and know for sure this is a scam....I have NOT done a payday loan.

My daughter in law works for a bank and she said this is a new scam that is running.  Once you send them any money, they move ov.  BUT, if you have done anything on line in regards to payday loans or anything that you have put your info into, somehow these people are gaining access and using that info to call you

I received a call from an officer John Marsh at my job today!!  I didn't answer because it was an "unknown" on my caller ID.  He left a voicemail stating that he is with the Federal Crime Investigation Department.  His accent was a cross between Indian and an leprechaun.  I didn't understand half of what he said  He had the last 4 of my SSN and a previous address.  He said if I ignored this matter, then he wishes me luck as the situation unfolds on me...WTF?! He said that I would face some "investigatives" at my doorstep.  I don't appreciate being threatened by this person.  How do I prevent this from happening again?  I don't want anyone harrassing me at work!!  When I called the number back, he answered, "how can I help you?".  I asked, "who is this?", and he replied, "who do you want to talk to?"...that's some shady stuff!!  The line was breaking up, so I just hung up...and he called me back three times when I didn't answer (the caller ID showed 9+-105-269-4182).  I had to turn on the "DO NOT DISTURB" feature on my phone so I could do my work.  I am so annoyed by this!  How do we find out who these jerks are?!?!

I have been receiving harrassing phone calls from a man with a foreign accent (Arabic?) that has been calling my home and school workplace. After calling my home many times, he started calling my workplace. Originally the receptionist forwarded the calls to my phone, I told her that this is a prank phone call and that I had verified the number online that these people make threaten statements,  and to tell them to call me at home, and not to call me back at work. He told her if she didn't forward the call to me, he would call back over and over and tie up her lines. She told him to go ahead. He did just that. I finally told her to just hang up on him and not to have any further conversations with the man who said his name was Peter. This man's name is Peter, like my name is Mohammad!! Finally after ignoring his threats, he stopped calling. Now this has been a couple of weeks ago and today this man who calls himself Officer Alex White from the Homeland division has started calling my home again and today he called my work. I was busy and he left a message. The man says to have my attorney or myself contact him immediately at 1-770-217-1842. He left a message on my phone at home telling me that if I did not call him back he could only wish me luck. I'm thinking I will call the police, but I really don't want to even give him the time of day because I'm very tired of all of it!

Got  call from john peterson said i had 48 hrs to send him 500 or my husband would go to jail i said i dont have a loan for 500 dollars out he started cusing and then calls me back and said my address im like do what u have to do ill see you but if in court with my bank statments this has to be a scam if it was true wouldnt the guy know english and be from usa

I received a voice mail 04/17/2012 on my cell phone that said this message is for "my name" with a ss# ending in blah, blah, blah. Said his name was Officer Alex Wright and that I needed to call him back immediately because of a financial complaint that had been made against me and that all information was pointing at me as the guilty one or whatever. Also threatening that if I did not contact him I would have some serious consequences at m place of employment and residence. WTF? I have no idea what this person is talking about and it sounded shady, not professional at all and he had an accent like he was from India. I had to listen to the message like 3 times to really understand what he was saying. I don't think an actual police officer would have such broken English especially if his job was to leave people messages. I am so relieved that I found other information about this number. I was starting to think someone had used my info to commit a finacial crime for real.

hey today on 4-16-2012 i got a call from an offficer john peterson saying that if i didnt send him 350 he would have criminal charges take place and i  would lose my job ive got.and kept on telling me that he if i didnt take care of it he was going to call the police and so i did his job and called the police for him and after he talked to him he hasnt called back. this guy used very vulger lauguage and threats he needs caught, he even cussed at the police officer at the scene.he needs caught for fraud, verbal assault and harrasment. that day he called me 20 times intill i called the cops and that is a sign of a scam

I also keep receiving these calls at work and my cell phone stating he is an officer and if I don't pay back 3000 dollars to a loan I never hb arrested I just wanna know how too stop these calls

This alleged Officer John Peterson called my place of employment and my cell w/all of  my residential info including last 4 of ssn. Very rude, when I picked up on the accent at work I advised that he'd be reported to the BBB and he used vulgar language. Mind you I never confirmed who I was. He called my cell at around 8:48a and my place of employment at 9a.  This is the same guy that called weeks ago under another name stating that a loan was owed, which is untrue.

I have recieved a massage stating that it was Jack Austin and officer saying that i had an lawsuit against me if i didnt pay the money that they despoited into my account. I asked him when was the money despoited and he could not give me a date but said that he was going to call my place of work and had me arrested if i didnt send him the money. Then he called with the western union information to a Julie Mallak in Silverlake,MN 55381 then fax him the MTCN number to 1-866-551-2193 then call him at 770-217-1842. this is a scam and everytime he calls me the number comes uo on my caller ID as 526-941-82, he says that hes calling on behalf of Cash Advance USA

ON 3/28/2012 MY PARENTS RECIVED A CALL FROM A OFFICER JOHN PETERSON FROM MARIETTA GEORGIA 770-217-1842 SHE ASKED ME TO CALL IT HE STATED SHE OWED 350.00 I CALLED IT TODAY 3/29/2012 I PRETENDED THAT HE CALLED ME YESTERDAY HE THEN TOLD ME I OWED MONEY AFTER LETTING HIM TALK I ASKED HIM HOW MUCH I OWED AN WHEN THIS TOOK PLACE HE SAID ABOUT 400.00 AN IT WAS DONE THIS YEAR 2012 I THEN TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER I DONT HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT AN DO NOT OWE THIS AN HE NEVER CALLED ME SO AFTER HE KNEW HE WAS CAUGHT  HE DECIDED TO USE THE F*** WORD A LOT AN TOLD ME TO SUCK HIS ________ HE WAS A PERV PLEASE EVRYONE DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO  ALSO I HOPE AN PRAY THAT HE GET CAUGHT AN PUT AWAY IT IS HARD ENOUGH ON PPL NOW LET ALONE SCAMMERS MAKEING IT WORSE.AN THIS GUY IS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY

Call your local police department and file a harassment report and they will do something about it. The Jonesboro police department in Georgia will take care of it after they get the paperwork from our local departments.  Or if anyone has an address for these people they can forward it to the right police department in Georgia. When my husband told them they can get in trouble for impersonating an officer, they immediately hung up.

Just called this place back and told them to stop calling me and they said F**k You and hung up. I will find out who this is and report it to the Georgia police.

they are calling my work and threatening me with severe legal action. They shouldnt be allowed to do this.

received a call from this number very nasty rude and even said "f*** you bi***" they said i would experience the worse night of my life.

Received a msg from the above named person, had the last 4 of my ss # and my employer. Threatening arrest. Tried to return call before looking at this. Went straight to VM.

Recieved a call also from Officer John Peterson threatening the same information.

I rec'd a call on 3/8/12 from Office John Petterson stating that I needed to contact him for a very senstive matter he stated that there were 4 charges being filed against me, He had my DLnumber, my last 4 digits of my SSnumber, and the address he had was wrong, he stated that they would arrest me at my home within 48 hrs unless I handle the matter either outside or in Court and if I did not comply I would be arrested with 48 hrs, at my home. So I told him to do whatever he needed and I hung up the phone.

Also called from this number with a threatening message ... Said he was officer John Peterson also. Who is this?

Received a call from someone stating their name is Officer John Peterson and he stated that if I don't pay them I would experience the worst nightmare of my life at work or at home.
