Get calls from this number every day. They call and then hang up when the message machine begins, but the dial tone goes on and on until I pick up the phone. I called the number back today and a man answered with "Hello," no company name or personal name given. I said, "Who is this?" No answer. Then I said, "Who are you? You call my phone every day and hang up? Why are you calling?" He hung up on me without answering the questions. My Caller ID reads "TMP Directional" as the company name. The phone number is listed as coming out of Atlanta, Georgia. The main company's phone line (770-325-1200) is no longer in service. Don't know what to make of this.

This number calls 2-3 times a day.  I am not at home.  When I call back just soft music playing, no one answers.

It was Cox looking for a Dante Williams and I explained it is a wrong number.  She said I will be taken off the list so if I don't comment here again then 2 points for me. *sighs*

I also have been receiving phone calls from this number on a daily basis, but know no one from Georgia. When I have answered before, they claim to be someone from a computer company and want me to do something to my laptop to make it 'run qucik'. They know my first name, which is very odd in itself, but their english is NOT good and the callers are hard to understand. Clearly not from a computer company...

Okay...so that I can confirm your request "Not to call",  may I please have your name, address, telephone number, date of birth,  ss#,  checking account number,  credit card number,  debit card number,  your mothers maiden name,  name of your favorite childhood pet,  the last public school you attended, your mistress's name,  and last but not least,  you shoe size and color.  After receiving this information,  we can put your name on of our "Dont Call" list.  Thank you for your patronage.

this number has called me multiple times and there is never anyone there. How can I get them to stop. I don't know anyone in Georgia.

I also have Cox...if everyone who received phone calls from the number has Cox, then I guess we have the culprit.

this has been calling everyday as well.. I finlly called them back myself after reading these comments, it's weird that it states, this # is currently NOT in service, please check the # and try to call again! They jst made it to my Block # call list!

Call your cable provider whoever it may be and asked to be opted out of marketing.  Its a simple change that can be made to prevent the calls

Good luck with that.   I too got the harassing calls on my cell and being a Cox customer and on all occasions I had them annotate that I do not wish to receive marketing calls.  But they completely ignore this.  I dropped my land line a year ago because I didn't see the need to pay a monthly bill so people can call to sell me stuff I don't want.

On their last call, I had them transfer me to where I discontinued my cable and internet service.  I'm now with Verizon FIOS.

I use Phone Tray to monitor my calls as they have a massive database of telemarketer calls which you can add to the list.  I've logged them as calling over 40 times in the past two weeks and it's computer dialed.  I programmed my Phone Tray to answer with a "not in service tone" and the calls immediately ceased.  It is Cox Cable trying to get me to upgrade my phone service.  But since over 99% of my calls are now to my cell phone, why bother paying for a land line just so they and other marketing companies can call me?

This number, 770-325-0137 is for Cox Communications.  I called it back and got through.  They are calling offering promotional services.  While I am a Cox customer, you would think the masterminds sitting behind their big desks would have enough common sense to recognize, if your customer wanted any special services then the customer can pick up the phone, or visit one of their stores to request whatever it is they want.  I found a solution though....call your Cox Communications where you pay your bill.  Raise some hell with them--seriously.  Let them know how annoying these calls are and they will note it on your account that you do not want any promotional phone calls.  I added the fact that it's annoying because it's my personal cell phone, and on top of that, they are calling me while aI'm at my place of business.  I just did this and scared the crap out of the person assisting me.  She noted it on my account--NO PROMOTIONAL CALLS, and I forewarned her if I received another one, then the next person in line is going to get an ear full. Really don't want to have to handle it this waym, but, sometimes you've just got to blow some steam to get your point across.  We'll see if it works.

Have been checking my cell phone bill each month to make sure they aren't somehow accessing my # for charges of some sort and have not had any problems.  So I have to wonder, if it's telemarketing, why hang up?  Where's the sales pitch?

Don't answer the phone and they do not leave a message. Guess they aren't too interested in contacting anyone!!!
