I just got the same call, but the number is blocked( unknown caller)  They told me I am entered into a draw of $25,000  for being a loyal costomer.  That I would recieve a watch for free, a set of 3 different magazines for a year free and a second set of three for a small fee.  I asked if it was a scam, the lady( Janet) sounded a bit offended and said she does this for all companies such as visa, master card, etc.  that it's not a scam...but deep in my gut it's too good to be true.  anyways she wanted to pass me to her manager ...but he was busy...and would have him call me back. Unfortunatley I am not answering it as I feel it's a scam and am not giving any info out over the phone.

So I am not sure if it is but better safe than sorry.

i received 2 calls from the same #...march 18th and march 19th.  i didn't answer.  they left no message and when i tried to return the call, there was a recording that the voice mail box was full.  in between those 2 calls, i also received a call from 770-536-1472, so i don't know if they're related (a returned call to the other # only lead to no answer--no voice mail, just ringing).

I just recieved a call from this number and I did answer but it hung up after 4 seconds.  I'm worried it's one of those scams...

n amount of magazines to get it. It's a scam. I say no thank you and hang up! They still keep on calling.

I got a call from them too.  Didn't answer... glad I read the post before I tried calling them back.  They called my business number... that sucks!

I received two calls from this number November 20th and 21st.  I didn't answer, as I don't typically answer numbers I don't recognize.  They didn't leave a message either time, so I figured it was telemarketers.  I tried to call the number, but all I got was a busy signal.  I received calls from other numbers in the same area code, but nothing recently.

I've gotten several calls from this number and similar numbers. No voicemail and I didn't answer. Other numbers are 770-532-5792, 770-532-5896, 770-536-1507, and 770-536-3496.

got a call from this number with the same message discribed by posters in other posts here . ( you are entered into a sweepstakes because you have a visa, mastercard, Doscover card)...began asking me questions, I did not answer any and hung up on the caller

Missed a call from these guys,  no v/m ran the number on google and this is what i got.  f****rs got my cell phone number.  Tell them you'll do something horrible to them when and if they call back

Caller said that I was entered in the sweepstakes because I was a VISA/MASTERCARD holder.
Caller asked if I still had a valid VISA/MASTERCARD or DISCOVER
I said no.
He said I would still be entered in the sweepstakes and had chance to "win" thousands in cash and prizes and a grand prize of $25,000
When I said that I no longer had the card he stopped asking me questions and wished me good luck in the sweepstakes and ended call.

I received a call from two numbers with a 770 area code.  1:(770)536-1472 and the other 2:(770)536-1479.  Asking the same info as the other's mentioned.  DO NOT TRUST THIS!

i just received a call from the same number 770-536-1472. When the lady, named Amy, called I was weary. She said she worked for the publishers. I only picked up because i thought it was a buddy of mine that was supposed to call. She asked me a bunch of questions, but when I asked her if her company had a website, she became upset. I then asked her if they had a physical address, and she hung up in my face. I called the number back, and another lady answered and said she worked for United Reader Systems. She said she could find out why they called me if I could verify my phone number and name. I told her that was ok and moved on.

Anyone have any info on The Publishers or United Reader Systems. They look like they may take advantage of alot of people. They probably record you on the phone too, so they can charge you. Sick

got call from 770 536 1472 on my cell.  I answered; got no response.  called back got voice mail saying voice mail box was full, and the number wasn't the same, but was similar - 770 536 xxxx (didnt write down the last 4)

2nd call in 2 days from 770 area code.  No message left.  Called my cell phone.  Not sure how they got my #.  Google search shows it belongs to a sub shop in Georgia.  I also got a call from 770-535-0600.  Same deal, no message, belongs to a pizza shop in GA.

Some publishing company? Call said I was entered in million dollar sweepstakes drawing for having a credit card and being in good standing with them. They wanted me to complete a short survey. The lady wanted to know where I worked and my husband worked. I told her I'd rather not say because of telemarketers and scams and then she was ready to go afterwards. She did say the drawing would be January something I think.      very suspicious.....
