Same as the others here. Sent a tm and it bounced back

I received a call from this number and could hear background noise but caller would not say anything.

I just a call from this number.  When I answered, the person on the other end hung up.

Got a call from 770-783-0023, but when I answered the phone, the other end had background noise and hung up. When they repeatedly called, I got fed up and let the answering machine pick it up- they left no message. This has been going on for three months and it's annoying. Who ever it is- PLEASE stop calling ! ! !

They also, solicit for other organizations. I just got a call from this number on the Dec. 26th, 2010. Of course, I dislike talking on the phone and never answer anyway. I get a Merry Christmas to me and my answering machine.

I actually answered and the person proceeded to talk to me like he knew me for a long time...kinda threw me off. But later he told me, "please don't hang up. I'm with the Georgia State Troopers. Promise that you won't hang up?" So I said, "Sure I won't hang up." He then started talking about "Donation packages" ...so I hung up. The guy proceeded to call me another 3 times after I hung up, but I kept hitting the ignore button.

I've given them enough money through tickets...

Got a call from this number at my business.
When I told them the person they asked for was not available, they didn't want to leave a message.

Received this call at my business. Took a while for anyone to recpond and all I heard was someone say 'wow' and they hung up.

Received this call at my business.  Same thing as other callers, background noise of machinery running but no one on the line.

Called ID said Villa Rica, GA which is an Atlanta suburb

Noise in the background........., did not respond quickly when I spoke, was talking to someone while I answered. Then asked to speak to the business owner. I hung up.

I got a call from this number, sounded like some background noise as if they were driving.  No reply when I repeatedly said  "hello."

I've received calls from this number for a couple of years now.Sometimes the man will ask for me by name and sometimes no one will say anything.The calls are from Villa Rica,GA.I've told them not to call back,blew a whistle in his ear but still they call back.

Xentel is at it again! This time calling for the American Association of State Troopers, Georgia Chapter. Is it a coincidence that we just had  GA Trooper killed this week and they're exploiting his death? I have to wonder. I also question the Assiciation's choice of hiring a company that uses lies and fraud to obtain contributions. They tried to tell me that my wife had contributed 8 years ago. When I called the woman a liar, she told me I must have forgotten. That's like forgetting my last trip to the moon. It never happened and never will. Anyway the manager got on the phone and repeated the lie and even told me he had a copy of the check from 8 years ago. I told him if he could produce the check, that I would double the contribution. Well he couldn't and I knew it. I also asked for a number to the Association, but when I called it and afte making my complaint, they then identified themselves as Xentel of Canada. Wow! International fraud!.It just proves Xentel will say anything, ANYTHING, to get your money. Not mine though.

Calls, when I answer, immediate hang up....  If you have a Droid phone, you can add the number to you contacts, give it the name of "SPAM", then go into your contacts, choose more info, select edit, then select the box where it will go directly to your voicemail.  They will not leave a message.  You will see they called in your call log, yet you will no longer be disturbed by these scammers.  I love my droid phone.  In the past 2 months, I have added no less than 20 spam/scam phone numbers into my contacts list.  If you have problems doing this, call your mobile provider and they will walk you thru the procedure.  Its made a huge difference in how I am dealing with these idiots.

Have gotten calls from this number only twice, one time was middle of the night.  The daytime call I answered. They claimed they were from the state troopers and wanted money for abused children. Whatever.

My  # is on the Do Not Call list but I received a call from this number:

Igot a call but the area code was 816. I answered and some guy was talking, but not to me. Lots of ackgroud noise.

Thanks for the info!  I keep getting a rude person asking for my wife by first name.  When I say "May I ask who's calling?"  I get "It's a thank you call, so nothing personal.  Is she there?"  When I say "Again, may I ask who's calling?" I get hung up on.  It's been the same thing time and time again.  I'm ready to file a harassment complaint if their do not call does not work.  I'm sick of this!

After posting the previous note, I called 770-783-0023 and I got a recording giving out a number for more info. CALL 800-463-4501 AND YOU WILL BE GLAD! THEY GIVE YOU AN OPTION TO HAVE YOUR NUMBER REMOVED! I hope it works for all of us!

Some HIGHWAY PATROL SCAM, they keep bothering at different times of the day. They want donations?...of course!...we can't pay our own bills now days with salary reductions, benefits taken away, and we'll be giving them money, card number and we get rip-off somemore?

The 770-783-0023 call is from a group calling themselves Georgia Troopers Association.  They are a so-called "non-profit" organization that claim they are raising money for Georgia Police officers.  They are not, they are raising money for themselves and their company.  They are required by law to only pay 10% of their donations collected to some police organization.  The other 90% goes into their pockets.  Do not Give Money to these Crooks.  They get around the Do Not Call Act, because they are registered as a non-profit company.  If they call you, tell them to never call you back again, and hang up!

we've been getting these calls for a couple weeks now, but just thought a pilot or truck driver was butt dialing us because all we heard was road noise/ c*** pit noise as well.  I guess the state troopers need to get a better call service.

Went to voicemail, no message left.
