I got a whole bunch of calls saying the caller's number was "unavailable", until they slipped up and called showing this number. I just answered and didn't say anything. they said nothing on their end and hung up after 40 seconds. Then it went back to "unavailable". If you can't leave a message, don't bother calling!

I have added this number to my "Pest" group on my cell phone.  The group has no ring so whenever they call, I don't even hear a ring.

Got a few calls from a number belonging to this company the past week from an "Investigator Matthews" who shows up a few other times in Google searches. The number on caller ID is 770-872-7376. The message on my voicemail is "in connection with possible fraud activity of my social security number and that the will be making a judgement against me by such and such a date in the state of California that will affect me greatly." Seriously, if I lost just one drop of sweat over hollow legal threats every time one came up in my life I would have died of dehydration long ago. These clowns don't identify their company, authority or any other identifying information, not even a telephone number to call back on (caller ID is how I know the number) and I sure as hell ain't going to call them back just because some random Joe claims to have some authority to "make a judgement against me" I wouldn't give two dimes to find out about. When they have the legal authority of a court backing them up, and official documentation that my attorney can verify with the filing court, then I'll give it some thought, until then, I'm ignoring them and they can go piss in the wind for all I care. If I cared enough to pass this along to my attorneys the company would probably s*** a brick.

This guy called and asked for a Maxi Berry ..I told him wrong number .. twice ... and he hung up on me ...

Yep. Collections agency.

They keep calling my work number for a former employee of the corporation I temporarily work for.

First, the calls were from Verizon wireless. I guess Verizon outsourced to this company.

I informed them this was a corporate land line number, and that the person in question no longer was employed. However, I don't know if they'll listen to that. If they call again, I'll come back to leave a note.

They also question if you know any additional information about the person they are trying to find. I didn't even know this person, and I'm a temp, so I wasn't able to provide additional details. BE WARNED that they will ask these kinds of questions!!

This is clearly a  collection agency that does not follow the rules that are set up for collections agencies.
I said hello twice when they called my home and they did not say who they where , so i hung up and called back and asked to speak to a manager ....
They Put some jerk on the phone by the name Adam Hall  on the phone and trust me he is a jerk because when I told him that rule that when your company calls a home of some they must identify them selves he went silent .. DUH

Same thing. They don't leave a message. Called back and they refuse to identify themselves other than a personal name. But they know who you are. I refuse to speak with them and have told them not to call my cell number any more. They still call.

These jokers and others like 'em can keep calling till their blue in the face. They call when I'm not home and when they do call, the phone just rings and rings and rings. I also have no voice mail or answering machine either, so as far as I'm concerned these are just non-calls.

They also use a number that is a Houston #.  281-857-6690.  My calls are all no one on the other end which is fine with me.

someone, claiming to be from tennessee, called for an older brother's phone number.   i don't know if they were rude, but got our elderly mother upset.  thanks for your replies so i can clear this up for mom.

calling at work, on cell and home. rude. asking personal questions immediately, don't know why they are calling when you answer the phone.

I received a call from this number and no message was left. When I called back, a guy answered "Adam", but would not tell me what company he is was with. He said my name came up on the caller ID, but still no information. I blocked the number!

Got a call from this number they were actually looking for somebody else that used to have my number. This area code is definately from Georgia.

This company is Capital Accounts and they are an aftermarket debt collection agency. For one they collect Medical and Dental accounts. They are an easy target to sue in small claims court as they will continue calling even if the debt is not valid. They claim to be out of Tennessee but I think that is a Georgia number.
