I have been receiving calls from this number, both at work and at home.  Eric Johnson was the name of the person who speaks to you in a very intimidating way.  Thank goodness I have all my records and I don't owe these people ANY money.  They are scammers and have now blocked my phone number from calling them because I called them on it.  Beware!  Do NOT give them any money!!!

You were not aware of the debt because it did not exist - that is the scam - they rely on the people like you who do not question them - once you start asking questions, proof of debt, etc - they get mean and nasty and threaten violence - this company is NOT legit

I also received a call from a Nelson person from riverside county law firm stating I owe money and that there is a lawsuit against my ssn.  They said I have a loan with cash net and to pay them and they will stop calling.  This is a scam, I have never had a payday loan with cashnet.  They appear to be from another country because they have a thick accent.  They called me from a 772-409-6519 number that you can't even get through.

this company is not legitimate, do your research many payday loan companies do not use outside collection companies, i hope you checked with the actual payday loan people before you paid because once you give them your information they can rob your bank account.

They tried to scam me as well, with the cashnet.com loan thing. Well I have never had a payday loan in my life, I asked the guy if I could verify the information and call him back, he got angry and told me to pay now or go to jail tomorrow, and then hung up on me. I contacted Cashnet to find I had never had a loan as I stated, adn they said this has been a big problem for them, and that you should never pay anyone untill you call the company you are said to owe first, cause thousands of people have paid this guy and lost money for no reason. I work hard to pay my bills and could not afford to get scammed like this, not to mention the fact that he was yelling at me and saying the cops would be at my door tomorrow to take me to jail. I have never been to jail so I almosted paid him out of fear, but I am glad I did not and found that it was a scam, So do not give money to a strange number with a person from India on the other lins threatening you with jail untill you verify that you had a loan with the company he said you had it with. This company is not legitimate. I have been getting calls for almost 6 month but every time I went to call the number back it was dissconnected, This time I finally got a person. They told me I had a loan and I have never had a loan, I asked them if I could verify the loan before paying and the man got mad and told me to pay or go to jail. I called the company he said I got the loan from to fidn out that I had never gotten a loan and that they have been doing this for a while, that he gets calls every day from people that have paid this man and never had a loan. They are from India and it is a scam. I am reporting them to every agency I can find as we speak. Do not pay these people, They only take what they ask for so you will never figure out that it is fraud, I suggest calling the company that they say you have a loan out with, they will tell you not to pay anything. Sorry to all who have paid before doing your research.

This number has been calling me for the past 6 month I have told them I Have never gotton a loan from them and have even sent them proof but then  they start calling again for a different month and amount they have also threaten to come to my home are work and have me aressted and black list my credit and have my driver license taken away when I ask for written notice they tell me they dont have to give it but according to the fair dedt collection act they do.They also have a heavy accent I cant understand most of what they say. Do they ever stop calling it been 6 month and they are still calling me.

I received several calls two from Tolen and two from a Patrick guy. Both intimidating, both threatening.   I was so worried that I contacted a lawyer.  She informed me that it was probably fraud and to do a reverse phone search look up and this page is what I found.  

It is a SCAM as far as there is NO investigator nor anyone watching our houses. And it is a DEBT COLLECTOR that is clearly not following the rules of collection.  I hope this note helps others out there not have to worry anymore.

I also got a call from them the past 24hrs and saying same thing bout a loan with cashnet. Company is a joke and a scam. Next time they call ask them for cashnets number to discuss your debt. And for u idiots who actually gave them money how bout i give u my address and send it to me instead!

This company is a HUGE scam!! They are calling me about a payday loan from a company (Cashnet.com) that I have NEVER and currently DO NOT have a payday loan through. This is a joke!! Report them and pray that they use your number.

Hey, I too received a call from this company and they informed me about my debt with cash net. I investigated this with cash net and they actually advised me of this loan.
I was now sure that this company is not scamming people hence i paid them the overdue balance.
I have now received my settlement letter and am glad they did call me and hence i avoided any black mark that would have appeared on my credit report.

@Andy, well yes I know these things are happening however this company has taken my card info and did not mess with it at all. They have taken the amount as agreed and also sent a letter to me confirming the same.

As per my experience they are not fooling and the message they leave might be an actual warning of something that can possibly happen.

I also received a call from this number from a llady named Sheryl Gray with a heavy india acceint and she was calling from Madison Law Group HAHA madison lawa group is a law office in CA not Flordia, she was telling me that if me or my attorney did not give her a call back today that they were sending an officer to my home or work to be arrested for my judgement this people are scams and a big freaking joke.

yes i got a call from this number and they seem to be legitmate. I had a debt with Cashnet and i was not aware of untill they called.

I have paid my debt and got my settlement letter as well.

Do not neglect these calls it can be fatal.
