Received a call from this number this afternoon regarding my car.  They asked for me by name.  When asked which car this was regarding,  they hung up.

Had two calls on my cell from this number. Female caller told me she was from "Auto Warranty Center" and gave me the make and model of our car.   She asked is I still own the car.   I told her to put me on the do not call list.   2 days later same script different caller.   I said I had already asked to be on the do not call list and he swore and hung up.   Classy.  Suspect my number wad sold by car dealership.  

Almost all phone numbers from outfits like this are spoofed numbers. The police really are not the proper place to report calls like this. This falls under the FTC,FCC and CFB.. Even then, reporting the calls still takes time to catch these illegal callers.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

My husband got same call from this number. They trying to sell extended warranty to him and kept saying it's "one time deal". When my husband begin to ask question, they argue with him. The unfortunate part is police couldn't even help when we have a phone number of person calling.

Same, they said they have been sending letters to our home. They said this was the FINAL attempt and then transferred me to a "senior specialist" who then hung up on me when I started to ask questions,  DON'T GIVE OUT INFO! Very shady!

Who calls from this number and what do they want.

They called my husband's phone number asking for me to talk about our car that's owned solely by my husband (first indication of a scam). My husband asked questions pertaining to their affiliation and the reason they were calling, and this upset the caller. Long story short, he asked my husband, "How many miles are on your f*^#ing car?" My husband had a few words for him, and the caller ended with "F*^# you and your wife." Classy scam artist.

I just received this call. Ironically my car is reaching 36,000 miles which is when my warranty will expire. The only people who have access to my car's make, model, year, and millage is Jiffy Lube, Autozone, or a small place that does my oil change.

I'm wondering if this information is being sold to someone, and that's why we are getting this call.

I just got the same call today. They told me i am the owner of the car that i do not even have. I said I am at work and cannot talk. When I asked for the phone number to call them back, he hung up on me!!!

THIS IS SOME SORT OF A SCAM. THEY SAID THEY WERE THE AUTO PROCESSING CENTER.  THAT IS A VERY GENERAL TITLE.  THEY ALSO SAID THEY WANTED TO VERIFY MY INFORMATION IN ORDER TO CLOSE OUT MY FILE.  IF THIS IS THE CASE WHY COULD'NT THEY TELL ME WHERE I BOUGHT MY CAR. WHAT A SHAM!!!

Had a call from this number trying to sell an extension of my car warranty. Even had the nerve to say they were associated with the car manufacturer. I hung up as soon as the caller attempted to transfer me to a "senior specialist". Not buying it.
