I am really sick of these calls about my LAST WARNING.. there MUST be a way to stop them.
Jillian 2012-03-03 16:43:14 Unknown
Just got a call - said they had sent many courtesy notices (yeah, right) about lowering interest rate on credit card. Must have 3K in total outstanding balance and one card in good standing. I didn't wait to talk to someone, just hung up. The computer said it would be the last time they'd call me - I could only be so lucky.

Called me but no message.
Dennis Hively 2012-02-29 20:40:13 Unknown
Number keeps calling. On a "do not call" list. Does not seem to matter.
MC 2012-02-24 16:38:47 Unknown
Is a credit card scam they are very rude when you do talk to them. They will not quit calling the
numbers change all the time, sometimes it comes up as some security card thing others nothing, or as a cell phone number no name.
The only ones who are exempt from the do not call list are those who do political calls and those who are for charities. I do not talk to any of them now and my answer to them is I pick up the phone and hang it back up to cut off the calls.

I am getting several calls per week on my cell phone. It is illegal to use robo calls on cell phone. I turned them into the Attorney General's office and found out there is an ongoing investigation. The AG's office told me that as soon as they could identify where all the calls are coming from they will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

My mother received a call from this number today, and in an effort to stop these harassing calls I answered it! I pressed the #1 to talk to someone, they answered told me they were about the "stimulus savings", I asked who they were, and the the lady said "excuse me" (like she didn't understand), so I repeated myself, then the lady started screaming at me to SHUT UP!

Thanks to ' 800notes', I can now check calls from area codes that I don't recognize and spare myself from listening to these clowns! Then I save the number to my phone book as "Don't Answer!" (1 thru 8, so far, but today will add 2 more)

We get these calls from all kinds of numbers, however this time it showed it was from a Wireless Caller, with family living all over the USA, not knowing all their exchanges I answered it, however it turned out to be yet another 'Credit Services" "there is nothing currently wrong with your credit but this is your last chance" gawwwwd if that were only true. I listen, push to speak to rep, then AIRHORN them. it made one so mad that they called back to complain lol AIRBORN them again ... LOL .. have a rolling list of them so the oldest number they use gets bumped off the top of my blocked call list and new one added. ROFL in Tennessee.

Same here, getting several a week, when you pick up, the message continues. Press one to speak to someone and I got a "lady" who when I told them I wanted the calls to stop, hung up on me.

I have gotten several calls from this number..If I do not answer, a msg is never left. I have answered and it's the same deal with that cc that others have written below. Sounds like a scam to me as well.
Katie 2012-02-08 22:10:02 Unknown
Report to the Federal Trade Commission at toll free 877-382-4357 and your Attorney General office for your state. If they get reported enough, maybe they'll give up.

This number calls my home almost daily with the recorded message. Today I pressed one, and when the guy came on the line he asked me if I was finished f****ng myself. I reported to the do not call complaint number. How can someone repeatedly make harassing phone calls for so long with NO apparent consequences?
Fed Up 2012-02-08 20:18:39 Unknown
Report all unwanted calls to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx only way to stop these criminals!

This started with the credit card scam and punch 1 to speak to a person about it.
I engaged the caller long enough for him to tell me he was in Orlando. He was an african american male, 22 years old, that sounded like he had little formal education and possibly a borderline gang banger. He described how he wanted to get a street tatoo of a tear under his eye - filled means the loss of a family member, unfilled means he has whacked somebody. He wanted an unfilled tear. This is no joke. I was on the phone 10 minutes.
If there was any possibility that the call had some validity, you can be certain that giving any amount of information to a rep like this would be a disaster.
Wendy 2012-02-08 16:03:23 Unknown
Received 2 calls from this number on 1/27/12 "card member services" with an offer to lower interest rates. Was hung up on both times as soon as i said please remove me from your call list.
Received another call today from the same number... when i answered it was a recording with the offer similar to before but this time was for a doctors consulation service... i asked the rep to remove me from their list... didn't get hung up on this time so hopefuly.
Annoying doesn't cover it.

Use a LOUD Wistle. It get their ears ringing, bleeding (hopefully), and makes them take a break.

The best way to get back at these scammers is to take up as much of their time as possible asking all kinds of questions. When you answer the phone and it's them , when you press whatever # and get a live person and they give their sales pitch ask -- WHICH CARD THEIR CALLING ABOUT'
that get's them interested.
Keep them ties up as long as possible asking everything about their service. They seem to be calling from a cell phone. Maybe you can use up as much of their minutes as you can , in not you definitely use up their time.
Also , the different area codes , areas they seem to be calling from-- it is the same company , same location. When you buy a prepaid cell phone, during the first setup it asks your area code. Whatever you input is the area code that phone and it's number will deliver to caller id .
Also, some numbers are actually innocent victims numbers that were spoofed. On one site like this people post phone numbers for people to call back to harass the scammers. Do not do that as it could be your number that was spoofed. An innocent victim.
