I am on the do not call list ...Got several calls from this number and they usually hang up or don't answer. I am on the do not call list ...

There is other different numbers calling me with this 773code.It must be investigate. .If not. I'll call the FBI and they will find out in a second. This needs to stop.

Got a call around 5PM on 2/24/2012 saying I had signed up for a cruise and was a winner.  Hubby and I don't go on cruises-never signed up.  Beware.M

Have recieved at least 3 calls on my cell phone from this number over the past 5 weeks.  My number is listed in the DO NOT CALL Registry.  Perhaps I can sue for the 10k in damages under applicable Federal statutes.

I get 5 calls a day from various long distance numbers.

This board is REALLY helpful -- now when I get a call on my cell from an unknown number (and I got one from this number) and they don't leave voicemail, I create a contact for that number callled SCAM [date] [type]. So when they call again, that's what shows up on my caller ID. Even if they do leave voicemail, I come here and look before I call them back (of course, now I see it's NOT a good idea to call them back ... do they really sell our phone numbers to other scammers?). I didn't call this one back, but now on my cell phone it will say, "SCAM 1/10/12 cruise trip?" and I just won't pick it up.

Keep getting calls from this number press 2 too get off calling list, but still get calls.

This is for a CRUISE offer.  If you answer, there is a recording.  There IS an option to remove from CALL list.  (Im sure this is for something we filled in at the bridal show this weekend. )

I've gotten two calls from this number, I've answered each time and no one says anything. They just sit there while I say "hello, hello, hell-o!" Finally just hung up. Saved the number in my address book as "do not answer".

Informed me that I won a cruise.

Called to cell in Ohio at 11:30 am.  No message.  Figured it was spam call when they didn't leave a message.

Got a call from this number at 1150 today.  I didn't pick up and there was no phonemail.

Received a call from 773- 449 -5048 a few minutes ago on my cell which is on the Do Not Call List, and when I picked up was greeted by a recording. Something about entering a drawing (I never did) and a cruise. I'm thinking about selling their number to a telemarketer!

This number called my cell phone. Rrrrrr.

I am on the do not call list and got this and other unwanted calls.  Called number back and pressed option to have my number removed from their list and got a call again 2 days later.  Rejected call that time.  I cannot block calls on my cell phone.

I did that 2 days ago and got another call today.  Didn't work!

I was called by this number a few minutes ago. A recording said I was picked for a cruise promotion, and to press 1 to hear more about it and press 2 to be put on the do not call list. I chose option 1 and spoke to a polite man who was definitely reading from a script. He said I can sign up for a cruise to the Bahamas from Florida for 4 days 3 nights with Royal Caribbean. He said it was only 94/person for the cruise, plus flights to/from Florida and port entry fees, and I can bring as many as 15 others. He said if I reserved a cabin I had 30 days to add as many people as I wanted, and 18 months to actually complete the cruise, but he wanted me to give him my information and commit to the deal right then on the phone. I said I needed more time to think about it, and he said he may call me back.

As I finished typing the last paragraph, someone else called me from this exact number about the same promotion. I explained to him that someone just called me about the same thing. He said the promotion is for today only, and that places are filling up fast. I asked him if this is legitimate, and how can I be sure they won't run away with my money. He told me that they are a company called Travel Services, gave me the website, assured me that they are BBB accredited, that they are a large company and would not risk a lawsuit for $94/person, that my money is protected by consumer laws, and that he would lose his job if anything wrong happened with my money. I poked around the website (http://www.travelservicesonline.net/index.cfm): they have an address, and e-mail, a phone number, but I still was not convinced. I told the man I was not interested, and he hung up on me.

I guess this is a scam, and you're all telling me, well DUH!

Said I won a free cruise...just needed my credit card number to pay port fees......told em I'm old but not that old...they hung up.

You are incorrect. When you call scammers back, you are CONFIRMING your phone #. They will then sell or trade it with other scammers, and you will get on more sucker lists and get even more junk phone calls.

It is a solicitation for a cruise. If you call the number back and hit option 2 it confirms you will be added to their do not call list to avoid further calls from them.

I was called on my cell phone at 3:15PM on 1/6/12.  No message was left.  I'm noticing an increase in these unwanted, no message calls since the credit card companies sent literature that said I couldn't block people from calling me who are their "partners" or "3rd party affiliates".

There should be a way to stop these calls from coming as it's stressful to not answer the phone until you know who's on the other end.  Also these calls seem to continue ad infinitum.  How can the average person regain control over their own phone lines (land line and cell)?

I've gotten a couple of calls -- one I answered and couldn't understand what the girl was saying, so hung up.  Something about me being selected to receive something.  They don't leave a message.
