Same thing here, wanted me to look at the pictures from an ad on craigslist and I could not without a gimp installer and the link to do that took me to an incorrect site for the gimp reader. Don't trust this person!!!

Same thing, here is the response I received via text,  "Hi, regarding your *barter* ad in craigslist, want to trade for this<pic-attach> http://picsoft.org PhotoID 763BTX. PLz let me know."  Phone # (773) 467-7209.  I live in NY and this number is from Illinois?

I received same bs, tried to look at it, I have a mac computer no such software, thank God would have been melware

Got text from this number in response to Craigslist ad.  The text included a link to a photo host site where the person wanted me to go to see if the item I was selling was the same as the one her husband was looking for (yeah, right).  You could not view the photos without downloading a GIMP viewer.  Malware alert. Same scam you will find from other phone numbers. Avoid.
