I received a call from a man identifying himself as Ray Harris from 773-540-1053.  He told me he had purchased my stolen laptop, and wanted to return it to me. This is after I'd posted an add on craigslist for a reward.  He wanted the $250 he'd supposedly paid for it, and the cost of shipping from his state to mine.  He expected me to hand over the cash with no questions asked, and became agitated when I started asking normal questions that I needed to ask to verify that it was indeed my laptop. He never called me back, and when I tried to call the # again it was no longer in service, or maybe he'd just blocked my number. Either way it was a huge letdown, and I would really like to know how people are able to get away with stuff like that.

I received a call from 773-540-1053 from a man calling himself Ray Harris. He said he had my stolen laptop, and wanted me to pay him the amount he had supposedly paid for it, and the amount it would cost to send it from Illinois, where he supposedly was. The laptop was stolen in Portland Or.  When I started asking questions that anyone would as under these circumastances he became agitated, and brushed me off, saying he'd call me back when he wasn't busy. He sounded like an older African American man, and was talking to someone in the background the whole time we spoke. If you ever find out any information about this person please contact me, and good luck finding your ring. Caller identified himself as Michael Nash and said he found my son's College Ring and wanted to return it to us.  I gave him my address and then have heard nothing else from him. Calls go straight to a prerecording.  We are willing to pay a reward for the safe return on the ring...
