The Do not Call List will not protect you from the following:
A) people who obtained your number illegally and are trying to commit fraud
B) people who use war dialers (computers that dial phone numbers in sequence), yes I know that war dialers are illegal but the people using them are trying to scam you in the first place, do you think they care they are using an illegal method to call you.

I received a text message from this number today with an alert and link to log into a fake Paypal site. DO NOT TRUST this number

most of the harassing calls are from overseas.  their numbers are all over I get most from takhar.  they are Jamaican and reside in Niagara Falls Canada side

Tel # 773-649-9133 has called my number (5) times yesterday at 3:23 pm, 3:47 pm, 4:07 pm and (2) other times before 3:23 pm. Searched the internet & found out that this number belongs to these persons:
     1) Jennifer Amidei
     2) Raymond Amidei
     3) Rocco Amidei
The internet shows their address at:
      1701 N. Sheffield Ave., Rm #302 (Ranch Triangle)
       Chicago, IL  60614  (This unit is now for sale for $199,000) much lower than the original price.
They must be renters now because under Zillow.com, the owner is under a different name than the names of these call pranksters although Jennifer & Rocco used to own the unit at one time. Today, I received a call from this number (3) times already at (9:09 am, 9:30 am , 9:44 am.,& 10:09.9These calls has to stop. I'm so mad because the call at 9:44 am, I was at the bathroom. Why do they annoy people is beyond me. They should clean their toilets if they don't have anything to do. Unwanted caller from 773-649-9133.

I've been sitting at my computer doing homework for about two hours now and this number has called my phone 5 times, yes FIVE times! I haven't answered but good grief come on!

I just spoke with a police detective who said to file a complaint at the link above so that once they find these people, they can be fined.  More complaints= more fines.

This number has called my house 8 times already today - 7 times yesterday.  This number is ALSO associated with 312-506-5075.  It is a girl who calls and hangs up on me.  When I first spoke with them 2 weeks ago - I asked them to stop calling me (I had 46 missed calls from this immature dirt bag).  I told them to remove my number and never call here again.  That bi*** called back 2 hours later and then all day the next day...SO I contacted my phone carrier - who gave me that number's carrier: PAETEC: 877-472-3832 (ask for the fraud dept).  They stated that - those numbers are clients of theirs - but they believe that this is a "number spoofing" scenario.  I was informed to contact the FCC and file a complaint: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints  I have filled out 2 complaints online and will continue to do so.  I suggest you take 5 mins. out of your day and do this.  The more complaints they receive, the more fines they will get.  I also spoke to someone at the FCC who told me to contact my local police dept - since this is now a harassment case. My phone carrier and the police dept. are working together to trace the call.  I will be filing charges once these jackhole are found.

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ON TUESDAY THEY ASKED FOR ME I TOLD THEM THEY HAVE WRONG NUMBER, THEY CALLED BACK ON THURSDAY ASKING FOR SOMEONE DIFFERENT I TOLD THEM AGAIN THEY HAVE WRONG NUMBER AND I STATED I TOLD THEM THIS YESTERDAY WHEN THEY CALLE AND ASKED FOR SOME ONE DIFFERENT THEN THE PERSON CALLED MY NAME AND I STATED I TOLLD YOU THAT PERSON OES NOT LIVE HERE YESTERDAY AND I'M ON DO NO CALL LIST, THEN SHE TRIED TO TLL ME I HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE TO HAVE MYNUMBER REMOVD, I TOLD HER YEAH THE GOVERNMENT FOR YOU VIOLATIN THE DONOT CALL LIST AND HUNG UP, THEY CALLED ME 2 HOURS STRAIGHT YESTERDAY.

Recieved a call today from 773.649.9133 on 06 MAY 11 Approx. 1531 HRS ( 3:31 PM). Called it back and it was disconnected. Wierd !!
