I got a call from "First Defense Home Security" tonight as well, and I ended up telling them a little more than I should have before I realized it was a scam call.  (Namely, that I am a homeowner and I don't have a security system currently.)  How worried should I be that they'll have enough info to break into my house?

Got eight calls in September from these illegal robocallers and one half an hour ago.  They hang up as soon as the answering machine comes on.  

The do not call list can not stop these illegal phone callers since they are not a legitimate business but scammers.  Takes years of work usually to track them down due to how they can use phone systems now.  

It is kind of like political calls -- you can not opt out of rhose either, but they are legal.  

Illegal robo scammer calls and political calls -- those are the only ones that I get on my phone.  I quit answering the phone years ago.  The good news:  if you get any of these on your phone, you know they are nothing you want and can ignore.

I'm "hopping" dey got da message....lol.  I'm setting them up on my block list.  I also am registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST...haha

People who can barely speak english shouldn't be able to get tele-marketing YOBS!!!

Got another call from this number, left no message, no talking this time, at 8 pm.

Getting multiple calls for days.  Have blocked this caller, but they don't quit.

This number calls my home phone every evening between 6 - 7 PM. I don't answer my phone and I've placed my number on the no call list, so much for that.

Get call from this number every single evening.  Have reported it but still they keep coming.  Guess the do not call list does not mean anything.

Apparently they have been scamming people for years.

This is a solicitation call robo dialed.  The person on the other end is from an outsourced location and wants to know if you have a security system..... Don't give up any information.....
