I just got a call from that same #...I 2 have a motorcycle listed on craigslist. I hate thaose people.

Same, list on Criags and they want to list my car for a fee.

I have an add on Craigs list and got a hang up when I answer.

I posted on craigslist also, this is a scam. Report them on donotcall.

They have called me a couple times saying the same thing about selling a vehicle I had for sale on Craigslist for more money then I am asking etc. I sold it weeks ago and removed my add, but they just called again today saying that they still see I havent sold it, but as I said I removed the add weeks ago. Sounds like a big scam to me. Also they give you a differnt 800 number to call them back on.

Have an ad on craiglist two day old, message from this number,they say they see its been listed for a awhile, which it hasn't and I had reduced my price which I hadn't. Sounds like a scam to me

calling and saying that they can get me more for my craigslist add than what I have it listed for.  I have a truck listed.

this number left a message for me today.  They claim to be a national broker.  They are scanning criagslist ads for boats, rv's, etc. and calling the numbers listed to offer a broker service to get more than what you're asking for.  Sounds a bit like a scam.

I didn't call them back. I just looked up the number on the net and got my answer.

They apparently don't give up...I advertised a van for sale on Craigslist back in July and have not had any other ads since.  They called have called probably five or six times since then, each time leaving the same BS message that "your ad was well under book value, and we can get you more for your vehicle" or similar comments.  When I called them back, they hung up.  Sounds weird to me.

sounds like Craigslist is where they are getting our numbers for sure...I to have a motorcycle listed there for sale in Arkansas..i hate scammers

They called, left voice mail message, and an 888 phone number to call back.  Yes, I've also got a listing on Craigslist.  Craigslist warns us about scammers, and I will not be taken in.  I'm glad others have left comments for this phone number.  Thanks.

This number calls me, too, and hangs up. I also have an ad on craigslist in McAllen, TX.

Some of you that have listed with craigslist to sell cars etc are probably being honest but come on...I have a guy friend that stupidly posted on craigslist for casual encounters etc. and that is when he started getting these calls..I guess they figure if your stupid enough to do that your stupid enough to fall for their scams..just saying

Voicemail left by a Tyler from National Motor Sales, left a return number of 888-689-8939.  I was on CL also.  Hey, 800 numbers cost them money, I say we ALL call them a few times and let them know our vehicles are not for sale anymore, sorry....  Cost the scamming bloodsuckers a few bucks!

Same deal, got the hang up calls for a while and then a voicemail saying National Motor Marketing or whatever wanted to list my car on "25 national websites" for a fee of $99, etc. etc.

They said they are based in Nevada, arrange shipping to the buyer (who pays shipping), all you ever pay is the $99 for an unlimited web page..

I asked them to send me information about their company over email and surprise! nothing ever materialized...

Annoying how they ate my cell phone minutes.

Spam phone call

I just received a call and they hung up. I had an ad posted on Craigslist two weeks ago.

I also put an add in craigslist too and have also been receiving calls from an unknown number when I answer the phone nobody answers.  

I am now receiving phone calls from 775-624-8689 they leave a message that they will buy my vehicle because they know people are looking for the type of vehicle. They say that they will buy the vehicle at a price that I will be happy with.  Of course I do not call them back, I know they are scamming!
