I got a missed call when I was at work. Luckily, I did not answer! Looks hokey to me!

Last night, just received a call from 777-889-6362 on my cell which is signed up for Do Not Call! I think she try to  sell something to me, but I stop her SAY: my # already sign up for do not call list, if you call again I will report you !!!

Just called me for the first time...hopefully the last.  One of the many random numbers that call me from time to time even thought I'm on the national do not call list.

I received a call from a pleasant young lady offering a home security system from kne of the USA's largest companies. I spoke to her and she was based internationally. I agree with mmm, they are kind people just trying to earn a living.

Maybe some are scams but not all. I was also a telemarketer when I was younger and never understood the hostility from people when I was just doing what I was paid to do--just like anyone else. The money was decent and it was a job. I don't curse at people at McDonald's, why would we curse at the people who call us?

It is just call center employees trying to do their job that they get paid to do. It is the telco company that provides this 777 number for the CID. If you don't want to answer the call, don't. We were all in college before trying to earn some spending money. Most of them are young adults trying to support their families--even internationally.

I don't see why we can't at least show them respect we would expect at our jobs.

Got a call from 777-889-6362 on my cell phone.  I did not answer because I did not recognize the area code.  In my voice mail, there was a person with a lot of background noise saying, "Hello??  Hello??"  His accent was thick, and I could hear a female voice in the background noise.  

Glad I did not answer.  All of my phone numbers are on the national do not call list, and I have owned my cell number for over 10 years.  I think they are randomly dialing?  Regardless, do not answer a call from this area code!

received a call but could not understand the person

Received a call from 777-889-6362 asking for someone whose name I didn't recognize. When I said the caller must have the wrong number, she repeated my phone number back to me, as if to prove she didn't mis-dial. She then said my number had been selected to win a free home-security system and asked if I was "the homeowner." I said I wasn't interested and hung up immediately.

Just received a call from this phone number - 777-889-6362 on my cell phone.  I didn't take the call and they didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from 777-889-6362-2/2/11  at 1720 hrs.An Asian woman with a heavy accent asked for a female unknown to me,when I asked her what she wanted she hung up.

I received a call from 777-889-6362 last night at 9:50 PM asking for a man (what I could decipher from the thick foreign accent) and then said I was being offered a free security system.  I SAID TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST OF #'s to call.  9:50 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!  Get real!!!

Today, I received a call from this number.  The call came in on my office phone and since I wasn't available to answer, my fax screamed in their ear.  I can't say I feel bad for them.  The location of the number is listed as "Kazakhstan, Russian Federation".  These people really need a life!

just got a call from a an asian accent girl who just asked me  " if I were ben I said :who is calling and she hungup.

they called and asked in a heavy accent for someone and I told them it was the wrong number and they said that that person has won a free house security system. my number is on the national do not call list. sounds to me like the do not call list has been hacked!

The same heavily accented people have called me before using a different phone number (that I subsequently blocked after they called me 3 times in one day). They call and ask if I'm Angela every single time. I always say no, b/c it's obviously not my name. They ask if xxx-xxxx is my phone number but never say an area code. I've chatted with them a few times and they have always pretended to be a collections agency, but then when I say I'm not Angela, they want to know my name, SSN, etc, and then try to offer me free credit scores/identity theft security. Obviously a scam.

I just received a call from 777-889-6362 on my cell which is signed up for Do Not Call!  After trying to understand her Philippine ( or ??) accent, she finally asked me if I was the home owner. I replied yes. Then she went on to say I have been selected....at which point I cut her right off telling her my cell phone is on the do not call list, and she better hang up fast or I will report her!  At which point I hung up. So what good is the Do Not Call list?  Home phone (also signed up) gets similar calls also.  I sign up once a year or more to make sure I stay on it.

I just got a call from 777-889-6362 on my AT&T mobile number, which I know for a fact is on the national don't call list. It sounded like an automated service asking me to leave a message, then immediately disconnected. The call only lasted thirty seconds or less. I've worked in management for various call centers, and there is software that can easily allow any well versed tech guru to type in anything they wanted for a "Call ID". While most companies with this technology follow the rules, regulations, and laws; it's obvious this company/individual has something to hide. You've been warned... I plan to avoid any 777 number at all costs.

Just got a call from this too from a woman with a strong accent, she acted like someone from our household recently inquired about a home security system and we were lucky enough to get her to call us.  She kept trying to get information from me like my name, I told her we didn't look into anything and I wasn't interested and hung up.  Don't give any info!

I just got a call from this number from a girl asking for "Glen" then just talking to me about what I was qualified for or my number was. I was asked a few questions and then told what I was going to get and told the girl I'm not the guy she was calling. She said yes and kept on also had a strong Philippine accent. It was definitely a call from out of country. I asked her about the cost per month and told her I could get it cheaper as she tried hard to get the English out of her mouth. She kept on and I hung up but as others got nowhere calling back since the number doesn't exist. Most likely from a call center in the islands and yes a scam.

recording came on try again the number you have dial is out of service.

Called/left no message on my cell!
