I have been getting calls from this number for over a year now.  Some days there are up to six calls.

I have asked them repeatedly to not call and remove my number from their list.  Tonight I answered to request again to remove my number and inform them that if they continue to call that the police will be called as 6 times a day is bordering harrassment in my eyes.

Been receiving calls from this number recently. No messages left and when the phone is picked up, no one says anything. Most unusual. Has anyone reported this to the police?

Just got called from this number twice in one afternoon. First time, I hung up. The second time, after long pause, female recorded voice "goodbye"

Many many calls - don't answer - don't want them to call here.

You are an incredibily rude person, thank God citizens in this country have laws to protect themselves and

their livelihood should you feel compelled to carry out that threat. It would be a delight for me to see you

arrested and thrown in a prison cell. How would you feel if someone insulted your work like that? Some of

these telemarketers do this work because it is the only work they can find. So next time you open your

nasty mouth think of yourself and your Family because you may one day find yourself in situation so

desperate to feed yourself that you will be begging to get one of these jobs.

How do I get them to stop calling me

Hi there all,  I just got a call from the same number so i did a reverse lookup online - nothing showed then I called the number back and found out it is Pro Ace Heating- great after reading all of your blurbs I really have my work cut out for me trying to keep them from calling again.  Thanks for the heads up and ya unwarranted solicitation is not good for a companies reputation

they are spammers. they said they would come to my house for heating check up and they said the government requires this sort of thing and that after the service they would get me to pay 80 dollars. When I told them they sound very sketical they didn't care. They said they would ask the manager to call me to confirm this. No letters from the government is sent for this sort of heating service. they are a bunch of liars.

I have received a call from this number no less than 4 times a week going back a month ... I do answer and when I do I get a hang up ... I will call the customer service number posted here earlier

I used them 2 years ago and was happy with the service.  They called me last week and I was actually going to use them again this summer.  

However, since then, they have called us 4 more times, seemingly having no idea that they have called us before.

I called the 604-293-3770 number and pressed 3 for customer service, and told the guy I am specifically not going to use them 100% because of the repeated calls.

When I mentioned their "online reputation" he immediately launched into a defensive stance saying it was a "rouge employee"... yes, he literally said a "rouge" employee.

One reason why they hung up or ask for name then hang up is because they want to make sure the phone # they call is in use. If it is it can then be sold for good money to telemarketing companies (or other such spammers). Indeed, it's just their way of doing "business". I get called every so often from then, only once i answered (more than 3 months ago) and i got the same treatment as the other posters. So i stopped answering and used the "call block" option on my phone. I did notice a dramatic drop in telemarketing calls after i blocked their number (they get a busy signal on their end, which leads them to believe the number is out of service). Out of service number means that it's not worthwhile to sell it, hence the drop in the telemarketing calls (including those from the same "company"). Just thought i'd share my thoughts on this.

got a call from this # .....didn't answer, usually I just answer if I recognize  the # ......no message left on my machine. Thanks everyone for leaving info , now I know I did right not to answer the phone.

So I called them at the 604-293-3770 number & politely asked them to take my number off they're list & they assured me they would do so right away.
The date today is april 27 2012 so lets see if they call my number again . If they do I'm gonna go to they're office & kick the living s*** out of the first motherf#@ker that I see ! :p

I had a great idea to phone them from a wifi (gmail) phone service, left them a message "go f**k yourself".
Maybe they can keep phoning, and I can keep leaving messages of encouragement for them.

Customer Service # is 604-293-3770 push 3 when prompted.  That caller is annoying.

Just put yourself on DND with Customer Service:  and hope John never calls you again from 778-588-1947.  We'll see how successful this is

778 588   1947  this number shows up and the name on my call display states  "LOCAL"       When i saw this I thought it may be the business name but after reading the info. above on this computer site I realize, I too, have been called many times, with no message left, from this business... Is there any chance the person calling from this number gets paid everytime they make any kind of contact with a person, incuding an answer machine and this is why they keep calling? Please someone complain and look my concern up... thank you as this is just not right!!!

Got phone call from 778 -588-1947 almost daily over the last few months.  Sometimes twice per day; 1 morning, 1 evening.  Never left any message.  On my side I've never picked up the phone either.  So wouldn't know who has been calling about what.  I can see from others' message that these call may originate from a local heating company.  If so, is there any EFFECTIVE way of stopping this kind of meaningless solicitation???  We can keep on posting similar messages and vent our frustration but in the meantime this company keeps on bothering Vancouver or even BC residents?!!

I have been getting 2 calls a day from this number. Last night I answered the call and I got into a verbal exchange with the male caller.

I told him to stop the harassing calls - I was not interested in Ace Pro Heating so stop phoning! Frankly I would never use Pro Ace services now because of this!

I kept calling the 778-588-1947 # and leaving a message for them to stop calling me but kept getting calls anyways. Today I spoke to the office manager at 604-293-3770 and she promised me no more calls. Lets Hope.

Have had 3 more calls. Either I'm not at home or there is no one there. Looked up Pro-Ace on internet and found this # 604-293-3770. The office manager said it was them and it is "just regular business practice". She assured me they would not call again.

Had a call from them yesterday (not the first time believe me). A lady said she was calling from Pro Ace Heating. I asked her to put me on their 'do not call' list. This morning I see I got another call while I was out. Called their number and selected customer service option and was cut off. I called back and selected leave a message option and requested repeatedly to not call my # again! We shall see.                There should be a 'solicit business' call type.
