Received phone call from 315-308-4993 and was told that I won 810,000.00. Was given another number to call to claim prize and was told to ask for Kevin. Did not bother to call, was obviously a scam. Callers name was Daniel Farrel and told me that I should have received mail regarding this prize. I know that that is not the way Publishers Clearing House operates. Dont fall for this one!

I received a call from 315-308-4993 (NY area code) and spoke to a Kevin Bachman. He told me his number was 778-865-5499 (a canadian area code). He said that I won 550,000 as a yearly jackpot for making donations in the past. He wanted me to send $1200 to cover clearance documents. When I questioned the validity of this phone call, he put me on hold for a moment and came back with another phone number, 778-829-6741. That led me to this scam page when I googled it. Thank you everyone for taking the time to post your experiences, so others do not fall victim to this scam.

A letter written by Zimmer Steinheimer was received by my 89 year old father. Apparently Garvey Limited in Lewisville,Texas was going to award him $330,000. They sent a check for $1988. Then my father was to write a check for $1400 (or thereabouts) for the "processing fee." This is definitely a scam! The elderly will write a check for $1400 and send it off and their check will bounce and then the old folks owe that amount to the bank

NO call but apparent Scam letter noting we won $370,000, plus what LOOKS like a check for 3798.00
Letter from "Staffmark Investment, LLC, noting we won in the "Jackpot Draws" Staffmark is REAL staffing company, address Close, but ZIP code & street incorrect, Bank address on check in Memphis, MO is close, but wrong (Ave, instead of St.). Letterhead shoes Cincinatti, OH address.
Asked to call "Anthony Kempler" at 1-778-865-5499. Shows up a a CELL phone in Vancouver, BC. and stamp/postmark is from Vancouver, Canada.
Letter signed by a "Zimmer Steinheimer" (signature was something else....) that name also points to scam reports here.
