got a call did not receive, they left a voice mail which is automated, says 'you could win cruise to bahamas by answering these 10 questions, just press numbers on your keypad............' and then voice mail ended, like abrutply disconnected! waste of time!

ive been getting called for that number as well, no messages and when i answer nothing is heard other then getting hung up on.

This number has called before, like you guys have said previous...number not in use.  What a waste of time...if it is a collection agency they are supposed to identify themselves.  Definitely not a good day for me to run into someone or something like this.

I got a call from same numer today Dec14,2011 at 0548pm ,so I answered but nobody talked to me ?????

I think this a debt recovery service.  Called me on two separate numbers within a few seconds.  Did not answer either.  (Might be connected to 905-771-6000)

ya man, twice, I got a call from this number. cLICK CLICK AND IT HUNG UP. I will ignore it.

I see this number come up in the caller id intermittently for various callers.  I suspect it is related to different carriers not providing the correct caller id with the call, so Telus adds a number in.  Calls with this number have originated from eastern Canada and Georgia.  It has not been a telemarketer in my case.

Just got a call from this number. I didnt answer, they didnt leave a message. I called back and it said this number wasnt in service

Even weirder, that number was calling me at the same time I was calling myself. It actually wasn't my company with that phonenumber. Wish I would have answered now.

wierd I just called myself from the call centre I work for and that # came up on my call ID. I work for a legit company providing support, not sure what that # is about.

This number actually showed up when OnStar called me back... Also the next day from a telemarketer calling

My friend in Edmonton received a call under this number 780 429 1077 and my full name. I am in Ontario. Then we both called this number and says not assigned. 411.ca says that it is a computer book store in Edmonton. I believe that someone is using our line for long distance calls. Another word, they steal our phone line to pose as someone else. My friend?s provider in Edmonton is Shaw and mine in Ontario is Rogers. Our providers are charging us huge in comparison to Europe and this is what we get. We get scammed. Why even we need to report this to police. I am sure police is aware of this. So, they have to do something about it.

Got messages for about 6 days straight of the same thing, some sort of animal growling and horror movie sound effects screaming echos in the back round ect. sometimes at 9:05am - 6:05pm starting October 13, 2011

Only one of the calls weren't blocked number where as the others were blocked. Figured it was just a Halloween month prank/scam.

Hopefully one day people will find better use of their time.

Got a call, did not answer.  Searched and found book store.  Number is not in use though.

If you google this number, it actually belongs to an Edmonton book store. What they're doing calling people, I don't know. They just called my cell and I've never even heard of this store before.

Called my cell from 3 diffrent numbers within 5 min of each other and left the same message 3 times..

"Please continue to hold... annoying music... please continue to hold..."

this went for about 20 sec then ended with "We are sorry for the inconvience" then hung up.


These were the numbers and matched up with the messages being left.

Just got this call at my work in Edmonton.  It started with a ships horn and then, like Wanda said, This is your Captain speaking... Supposedly I won a free cruise but I had to answer 10 question first.  I hung up.
