I also found this number from Edmonton AB on my Shaw.ca phone bill. I don't know anybody in Alberta.

I have billed from Bell(got a bill today) for 19:33 mins talking to this number in Edmonton on April 12.I don't know anyone there.Total charges for this call before a discount are $17.25.
I am not sure yet what has happened here.

I typed this number in and got this site. I too didn't remember calling it. Then reading this post remember getting help from quicktax. Thanks for the postings. Problem solved. Even though I thought I was calling a toll free number. Guess I wasn't.

This is tech support for Turbotax/Quicktax which is in India. Called them cuz I needed help. I asked the guy where he was, he said INDIA!!! And mind you, he was not of any help! He was as clueless as I am!!

I got this number on my phone bill to on March 4, Call bell about it and bell toll me the call was made from my house which i denied, does any body out there knows what we can do about this, Bell dont seem to know what going on or dont want to do any about it. Gil

Bell phone billing date April 12/10 from 780-665-4555 - dates March 4 - times 12.25 and 12.27 for
1.0 and 45.0 minutes.
Called Bell Canada tonight (approx.5:45 pm) - insisted call made from our residence phone number!
Persisted and finally agreed to waive costs - but said if any future calls to this number would not be waived!!
Any long distance calls we make go through a dial around number and we were charged an "LDnetwork connection fee" of $1.95 for "March 4".
Total charges before discount were 0.66 and 29.70.

It's quicktax, and its somehow routed out of Edmonton to India! I spoke to the man and asked him where he was located, India!

I got Bell to remove the charge. The number is unlisted therefore it cannot be a business I don't know anyone in Edmonton. I told them i would change carriers if they didn't.

I have this same call on my phone and I haven't called edmonton. searches tell me this number doesn't exist but Bell assures me the call originated from my phone. Bell is one screwed up organisation.
