Its also a number cvb collections uses. They collect debts for telus. Keep calling me I told them I'm not who they are looking for and the phone I have is telus and had it for 10 tyears so I obviously don't have a debt with telus. They still keep calling! Retards!

THis is a scam... they called saying they are from windows... and were argumentative on the phone... not professional at all.... east indian accent... wanting to speak with my daughter... I have no daughter???  reported this to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre 1-888-495-8501...

I keep getting calls from this number with no one leaving a message. Making me mad!

Its also a number Money Mart uses as well as that Bell phone scam.

This number has called 3 times so far this afternoon (3:26, 4:12, and 4:58)...

I am also from Grande Prairie. I tried to call the number and got a busy signal. Based on the info kindly reported on this page I wont be answering it if I am home and this number is calling again.

I got a call from 780-833-8868 today and the girl wanted me to answer some questions regarding radio and media broadcasting. I told her I wasn't intersted and she asked me why!! I told her I didn't apreciate these kind of calls!!

I received 4 calls, of which I didnt answer, this morning between 9 and noon.  I dont answer if I dont know the number.

Further to my previous post, if you call that number, it just rings busy.

Just received a call, it looked local so I picked it up and said hello  (June 15 2011, 12:27 PM). It was briefly blank, then a number rang and a foreign accent said to me words therein and addressing my name  "Hello Mr. Anon this is X (forgot company name in my anger) computer company calling about your computer"  To which I said "what the hell do you know about my computer and they hung up."
They must work for Scamcentral Station.

This number has phoned me several times before and this time it was at 9.00 pm. Saying he was an employee with Bell, wondering if he could sell me a cell phone from their company . Big scam, and since I'm not with Bell, and haven't been for over a year, i let him know what i thought.

An east indian sounding male called and although he was very hard to understand I believe he said he was representing Solo Mobility and offered a free cell phone. When I said I was having trouble understanding him he hung up..

I had received a call from this number as well. This person had ask for me personally and was wondering when I would be available and was very persistant. I think there needs to be something done about this.

Dont answer phone calls that you don't know who it is. Simple as that. If its important they will leave a message! RIGHT?

This number is a telemarketer trying to scam your money, DONT ANSWER IT! all they want is your Social Insurance and Credit Card number to take everything you got. DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. There IS ways you can block numbers.
Dial *60 and follow the prompts to block up to six different phone numbers.

Ya this is your credit card company bla bla bla.     Total scam trying to get your info.     I get these calls 100 times a week from different numbers but this is the first time from a local number which is why I answered.

call from this number, missed it - but it did leave me a message. it was a recording offering me a deal to lower my interest rate.  Same gag, press 1 to accept this offer, press 3 to never get another call.

Same thing happened to me about the bell thing. I'm also in grande prairie. I told them i already had a bell phone and the guy was very persistent. I told him to shove one up his a** and take my number off the list. He hung up on me and I have yet to receive another phone call.

I'm from Grande Prairie too! And this stupid number called me for a second time. I just hung up on the call and they of course...left no voice mail message.

I am in Grande Prairie too, and have gotten a call from this number a couple times.  I never answer.  But I've only had this number for about a month and very few people have it...?

a GIRL CALLED ME FROM THIS NUMBER ASKED IF I WANTED A FREE PHONE FROM BELL AND I LET HER GO ON FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN SAID LET ME GUESS YOU WANT MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND SHE SAID NO MAM JUST YOUR DRIVERS LICENCE NUMBER OR SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER!! I SAID I KNOW THIS IS A SCAM I JUST GOT A NEW i-PHONE AND SHE HUNG UP! ALSO SHE COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH!

I have been receiving calls from this number at 7:45 every morning this last weekend and also during the day over and over. I'm sick if it so I called telus.  They gave me a number to call so this number can be blocked.

i have recieved a call twice in one night!! i find it kinda creepy because i hear breathing and then they hang up... i live by myself.... the phone company should do something.... or maybe i'll call the police... this is harassment isn't it?

i got the same call.. but wierd thig is, my hubby also got a call from them on his cell phone, busy signal when i call back but when i answer there is no one there, i live in the local area they are calling from (grande prairie, ab) i'm curious as to who it is.... but, i'm sure it's someone trying to sell something or steal info from us...

I am from the Grande Prairie area and this appeared to be a local #, so I answered it.  I got the whole long line that they are calling from Bell Canada and have a free cell phone for me.  Blah blah blah. I let him go on about it for a long time and tell me about all the free services offered etc etc and even asked some relevant questions, b/c I am nice like that. Finally I told him that I have done some research about his 'offer' online and "it seems to me you are full of $hit, have a nice day." and hung up on him. Would be nice to not hear from these guys again but I am sure I will.

I just received a call from the number. Thought I'd reverse number look it up. Nothin much happening on the other end tho. Was just silence
