I recieved over 20 calls from these A----e my only enjoyment was listening to the slim ball have a cuss feast with himself when I repaid them the favor of calling them back with a blank line hee hee and they use different numbers to call same india thick accent and than they thought I come out to play so they called me back the next day with some more bogus number if we did this s___ in the USA we would be out of business I say we should make the phone companies responsible for this we need to contact someone who can find these bottomfeeders(business sweat shop/broiler room) and make sure they rescind their phone contract. One time some knuckle head call me from a magic jack phone I wish I remember the number I will write it down and tell MJ to effn cancel their contract or be involved in a class action suit. We need to make companies responsible for selling their products to swine like this who harrass and con people.

I received voicemail from someone with "American" name but couldn't understand much due to thick Indian accent. He said Smith law firm and that he was calling my employer and having me served with papers that will "send you to jail." This is 3rd day in a row I have received this same threat. I live in Florida and this is getting ridiculous.

These guys are crafty i received 2 calls today. They called my cell phone and my work phone at the same time and they just called again while i was making this post what a major pain i the butt i never answer the phone they can talk to my voicemail

I would like to think everyone for thier comments. I too have gotton a call today. This person claiming to be calling from a smith law firm was very rude, he kelp calling and saying he is goin to continue to call after I told him that I am on to him, he is a scam and that I will report him here in the united states. He got more rude saying " do what you want, I don't care, I'm going keep calling you." and I told him to GET A REAL JOB. He didn't call back after that. I don't like when evil people play games with other peoples lives.

These people constantly call saying that there is an AFFIDAVITE????? out for my arrest and that if I don't pay they will arrest me. Then I started getting emails saying the same thing. I have called the COLORADO STATE'S ATTORNEY about this and whatever you do, DO NOT PAY AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY FURTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION. I have filed a COMPLAINT against these people and I hope they get caught and THROWN IN JAIL THEMSELVES. You can file a complaint against the phone number per each state with your State Attorney office, those in the state of Colorado the website to file is www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/ca. I hope all of the people receiving these threatening phone calls and emails take heed and DO NOT PAY and DO NOT GIVE ANY FURTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION. They say they are from THE SMITH LAW FIRM.

They called and said they were going to arrest me and when they were informed the were calling a classroom they told my assistant that they were going to arrest her also and she was going to lose her job because she wouldn't let them talk to me.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

THE CALLER REQUESTED 8000.00 OR I'D BE ARRESTED FOR SOME CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST ME. FUNNY THING ABOUT THE CALL THE NUMBER CAME UP ON THE CALLER ID AS (SCAMMER) I TOLD THE CALLER I BELIEVE IS NAME WAS GUY HARD TO UNDERSTAND HIM WHAT IT SAID I LAUGHED AND HUNG UP..

they called and said there was a lawsuit against me for stolen money and i would go to jail, I asked from who and the guy would not answer me so i tld him politley that i would be forwarding his number on to the fraud unit also the F.B.I and to have a nice day!!
