I got a call today from This guy keith nelson. From another phone number 941 -244-3613 and i had received from all those # all you did too

Every body don't even get nervous these ppl are all frauds they called me saying the same thing but from 813 418-7426  I told them to give me a fax they said first to go to Walmart a get a $2000 money pack  oasis ok first send me some paper he said it was there way I said give me your fax number they gave me 941-375-0421 so I said your a bunch of frauds and he started cursing so I cursed his Indian a** back out dnt fall for there  fake a** scams  his name john mcclane not even his name  probably john binladin or somthing

These jerks called threatening to have me arrested.  In fact, they came to know of an arrest warrant for me and told me that I would spend 30 days in jail.  They said that I had defrauded them.  I have never done business with these people.  The callers had an Indian accent.  I have since found fraudulent activity on my checking account for the same company that they were supposedly representing.  Here are the facts:  the good ole USA DOES NOT have a debtors prison, I called the Sheriff's Office and there are (and never have been) no arrest warrants for me, and there is no Mark Peyton and Associates in south Florida where the call originates.  These jerks said that I would be in cuffs by the end of today; I am not in cuffs and doing fine.  I have actually filed a warrant for this agency.

I received the call today on my cell at around 2:25pm(eastern) and it was unanswered. then again at 2:30pm, then again at my job at about 3:00pm informing me that I was being sued and would be arrested and served papers at my job and lose my job over this. the conversation lasted too long and they really pissed me off. They kept transferring to someone else to talk. The way they want you to send the money is the same as everyone else says, wal-mart money card, green dot card, western union. They also wanted me to send them a copy of my DL and to photocopy the card, front and back. I am sure glad that I investigated this number. God looks out for babies and fools. Thank You Jesus!!!

What type of info did they already have? There is a big difference between name, cell & work numbers & actually knowing your social security & banking numbers...

I received this call and some guy I believed to be a telemarketer... He even called my job... claiming that I was ACCUSED OF FRAUD!!!!!!!!!  i am a law enforcement officer in my state.The ignorant b*****d does not know who I am or who he is playing with..

Yes same number the guy said his name was Jason and that i needed to contact my attorney and i would be getting papers served to me; he won't stop calling either.

Oh I have been getting these calls for the last week. They actually had me for a while because I have used a pay day loan but it was years ago, when I was in college and was thinking they traced me from that far back. But thanks to my instincts I decided to go online and see if this was legit, especially since the person I talked to was from India. And what do I find but this site with all of the information this scam artist gave me, all the way down to the same exact dollar amount. What is really interesting is that I had one hour to come up with the money, write a letter saying that I have good intentions on correcting the debt and fax them my identification. Yeah, good luck finding a sucker India. I did not call the police, however, I did call them back a few times and when I suggested they were going to be arrested amazing they hung up. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Don't be scammed my good fellow Americans, do your research PLEASE! Also, I looked up the Mark Payton & Associates law office, they're at least 5 in Florida, how many Indian paralegals do you think live in Florida?

omg im got this phone call last night and they are threating me as well. I reported to the cops here and this is a real scam!!!!!

I juss got the same call saying he was going to put me in jail for fraud and that I owed him money

I recieved 3 calls from these people. They said that they are going to be recording my call and i asked why. I was then told that I had a warrant for my arrest in the state of texas for a payday loan. I had no idea what they were talking about but when I asked them for information about this loan that i supposedly took out they refused to answer me and promptly hung up. I have no idea how they have my info but these guys dont know who they are calling half of the time.

Good Work.  I discovered the samething.  No police came looking for me on Friday like to told me.  I hope they get caught!

I recieve a harrassing call today that said they will arrest me at work

I received a call today from the number 786-224-0096 around 2:30. A man named Brian King told me that i was being sued by a loan company called American Cash Payday Loan for $789.55. He told me that I would be arrested at my place of employment on Tuesday. I never received any loan from this company & when I looked up the name of the company, I couldn't find it anywhere online. Brian forwarded me to someone named Kevin Fernandez. He told me that his company was called Payton & Legal Associates, and when I asked him who was trying to sue me the name of the loan company changed to American Payday Cash. He was trying to rush me to give them some kind of payment through Western Union or with my debit card, however he stressed that using Western Union would cause no problems. Brian was using the ext. 7860 and Kevin was using ext. 619. I never received any loans to my account so I was a little uneasy about the whole situation until i started to do my research. I pray that these frauds get caught soon!

I received a call today informing me that I had better pay $8484.87 for a debt that I did not have  and also that I needed to get an attorney beofre I get arrested. They both had ana Indian accent and informing me that I needed to takde care of the debt. They had address and wanted me to take care od a supboena and arrest warrant. I don't know of any one going to jail for owing anybody.  When I asked for the number to call the people they were representting they said that they did not have the number and would not give it to me because it was a conflict of interest. He said that he was calling from Peyton and associates but the number of Peyton and Associates is not the same as the number he was calling from. When I asked him to send me information about the debt he said that it was in an email .Since I never delete emails and could not find it in my email, he swore that it may have been in spam either way there was no record. When I asked for a copy of the debt to be faxed he states that he was unable to fax. He also threatened arrest at my place of employment.They said that they were representing a debt collection from American Cash. Sates that they were unable to withdraw money from my account.If you are able to put money in you ought to be able to draw money out. When I asked about payment arrangements he states that he did not call to ask about money.Well what was the purpose of the call? Either way Finally I said do what you got to do. It is illegal to have a pay day loan in Georgia.

I received a call from this number and I decided I would look the real law firm up and they told me they have contacted the FBI they told me to go to the website www.ic3.com and fill out a report about this guys this is how they say we fund terrorism they scam us

This is without a doubt a scam. I did some research and was able to find out who the actual law firm and that these people who you are getting calls from. The legtimate law firm is aware of this and have contacted the FBI. Do not give these people any of your information. There are no arrests warrants and the police will not come to your work.

this guy called me and said that his name is Calvin Stevens,   and that if i dont or my attorney PETER doesnt contact him all he can do is wish me luck.   i dont even have an attorney, so i have no idea what he is talking about.  He says it is time sensitive.  and gives me his number over and over, and he keeps telling me that he is very sorry for me if i dont call.   i will be contacting the police!   Threatening phone calls are NOT going to be accepted!!

This is a scam, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They claim that they will have me arrested for fraud. I have no idea what they are talking about. They will not provide me with any details about the company or who I am supposed to have defrauded.

I have also just called Equifax and placed a lock on my credit files and a fraud alert on all 3 credit reporting agencies
